It was just the craziest shit. Because Saddam actually got what was coming to him for things he did in his past. The 4th reason out of all of them is what america wanted to tell it's people and what George bush wanted to try rly hard to believe into thinking that he was doing the right thing for this country, but that never was the case and from all of that hoopla came the birth of many other terrorist organizations, one of those most notably ISIS. Many people think that Saddam is islamist extremist which is the total opposite lol the guy is muslim with a real man attitude let us say like an old dude from Texas , the US made a big mistake this guy was taking care of terrorism in the middle east !!!
His mistake was he pissed off the United States, then continued to double down on that mistake by insulting them and their leader who by the second time around (2nd Gulf War) was the son of the original President that slapped him down, this coincided with 9/11. The moral of the story, never touch a burning Bush, you'll always get burned!
Under him Iraq invaded Iran, causing a war that drained lots of Iraq's money and killed half a million people. He was a terrorist himself. The only reason you say he was taking care of terrorism is cos after he died terrorists rose up to fill the power vacuum the US left .
I don't for one moment suggest the likes of Hussein and Gaddafi were saints, but since they were overthrown, the world has become a much darker place. Bush and Blair well and truly opened Pandoras box.

true, the funny thing is that before that judge, there was a (Kurd) judge who was much more calm and fair with the defendants, and allowed them to speak in their defense more often, so he was swiftly removed and replaced by this guy who for most of the trial yelled and shouted at the defendants and allowed the prosecution team to go overboard doing the same.

I remember how bizarre all of this was. Don't get me wrong, he deserved the death sentence, since he actually ended up in court. But as he was at his peak of his atrocities we condemned him for, we full well knew about all of them and allied with him against Iran. And he ended up in court because we invaded his country on 100% false pretenses which he was actually innocent of, we killed a bunch of civilians bombing the place, then arrested him and dragged him into court over things that had nothing to do with why we were supposedly there....because he was actually innocent of the stuff we said he did to make the case to invade in the first place. It was just the craziest shit. Because Saddam actually got what was coming to him for things he did in his past. But the path to get there was so dirty and dishonest, and also riddled with the death of innocents that we killed getting to him, that there was nothing gratifying about it. It just made us look no better than him.
It's very odd to say the least
Yeah exactly he got hanged for crimes of the past and not the lies that happened with the actual iraq invasion by the U.S. and other Nato members(UK). Might be part of the reasion why Putin does not tolerate Nato close to his Russian border. Nato was pretty much abused for some strange political agendas in that iraqi solution with no good results. The thing, is, Bush Senior was against invading iraq, but his son pushed for it there are documentaries about the case were both speak about it. Bush Senior could easily finish Saddams reign after the 2nd Gulf War allready, but did not for a reasion.

Many people think that Saddam is islamist extremist which is the total opposite lol the guy is muslim with a real man attitude let us say like an old dude from Texas , the US made a big mistake this guy was taking care of terrorism in the middle east !!!
Facts
His mistake was he pissed off the United States, then continued to double down on that mistake by insulting them and their leader who by the second time around (2nd Gulf War) was the son of the original President that slapped him down, this coincided with 9/11. The moral of the story, never touch a burning Bush, you'll always get burned!
The facts are the Democrats are who fucked up.. they have been corrupting our government and doing these fucked up thing for forever.
Under him Iraq invaded Iran, causing a war that drained lots of Iraq's money and killed half a million people. He was a terrorist himself. The only reason you say he was taking care of terrorism is cos after he died terrorists rose up to fill the power vacuum the US left .
