I have to agree with the fiat comment there about this being one of the best and most in-depth videos on how to install and suspension lift kit on a Ford F-350 Super Duty. I have a 2011 F-250 but I plan on using this tutorial for when I do my loft. I’m sure some things will be different but this is definitely the best Tutorial I’ve seen thus far. Also, you need to start making more Videos if you’re able to... I’ve enjoyed the few you’ve made and have posted. I hope to see you back on here at some point.
Man I would love to work on rust free trucks. NH trucks look like that for the first year, first summer. Have to buy new to keep it looking that way. Nice job
Great tutorial, I'm looking at picking up a 2011 F250 and will be doing the lift. This is extremely helpful! Couple of questions 1) The kit from Rough Country I've seen has an add-a-leaf, did yours include that and did you install it? 2) What width & offset did you get on your rims? 3) Did you have to do any trimming when you put the 37s on your truck? 4) Did you get 12.5 or 13.5 width tires? Appreciate any advice, I did the lift on my current 2018 F150 with a Rough Country 3" coilover kit. The fitment guide from Rough Country was incorrect it said I could put 295/60/20s with 10 wides and a -24 offset with no trimming. When I had the rims and tires installed they rubbed so bad the crash bars would have had to be cut. I ended up sending the rims back and put the stocks back on.
The bracket for the single steering stabilizer doesn't seem to work for my 11(between the frame and sway bar bracket)....now if I move the stablizer bracket to the bottom of the sway bar bracket it lines up...what am I doing wrong? I pulled off the single went to duels for awhile going back to single using fox stabilizer
You cannot. The duallys have different suspension components and would require a different kit. I dont think rough country makes dually lifts. I'd recommend checking out the website for custom offsets and check out what kits are available there, as they have an option to search for lift kits that fit your truck.
@@johnkenley4687 just in case anybody els asks about doing it to a dually it does work, since i posted this comment i went ahead and tried it and it does work. you just need different u bolts and a carrier bearing drop but thank you for the response. if you interested in seeing it, look me up on instagram @pete_6.7
Nice job. Brother I have a 2012 f250 Lariat that I want the same setup on. In will be back in Polk County Florida after May 10th. Message me if you can install this 6” lift and dual steering stabilizers on my truck?
@@trucklifejessie5384 i am removing this kit from my truck to go smaller. I purchased the truck already lifted, so i dont have stock components. I tried to keep up, but what all components do i need to keep? front spring and rear blocks? any thing else?
One of the best tutorials I've ever seen. Great job
Safety tip put your rims/tires under the truck if it falls your still alive
You're a legend man! Got my ProComp 6" Stage II installed on my 2018 this weekend using this video. Saved me a good bit of money on install.
Excellent job! Wish more tutorials were just as detailed. Thank you for your time.
Great video !! This guy just gets right to it. Very little extra fluff. Thank you.

Good job man , I’m doing mine right now, I chose to get 6” arched rear leaf springs instead of the blocks for the rear

Great video brother. Only thing missing between the two trucks is a nice crew cab 09! 👍🏻
I just wanted to say thank you for the instructions, It my first lift kit and was able to do it by myself.
Good job and thank you for making this video
awesome job Jessie wish you could help me lift my f450 lol you do great work brother
I’ve learned soo much!!!!!! What a nice truck!
I noticed a leveling spacer in the front under the coil spring perch. So I think your truck actually has around 8" of lift. Looks nice tho!
That's a rubber isolator, they come with those from the factory.
@@TrentsGarage he is talking about the spacer under the front coil perch thats not factory.
Great job, helps alot watching your video, thanks

Nice video, made it really simply👌🏽
Nice job! Looks great!
🤣🤣🤣 @9:35 "You only have to grab them by the Nuts" lol, classic!!!
Great video loved it! That 6 inch kit looks HUGE. I can't decided to go 4.5 inch or 6 inch.
Go 6inch. Remember go big or go home. I have a 8 inch lift on my firebird, its on a bronco 2 frame, 4x4 with a plow.
Great vid man
This truck already has a 2in or 2.5 lift block under front coil perch so really he is on 8 8.5 in the front
you the man !
“Spends ton of money Lariet, gets rough country lift” 😂
king ranch* but who cares? Im putting the same kit under my platinum
@@jackskonieczny2353 king ranch here lol
Same thing as all these lift kits you have squat front taller than rear I had the same problem had to get bigger block for the rear
Very nice! 🔥
How much will something like this cost? Just the installation
Great video
Good lookin truck
You should make a video of your OBS back there
Is this a one piece driveshaft? I installed one on my truck, identical to yours and the drive shaft slipping yoke
Would this be the same process for the 06 6.0? Can’t find any videos on anyone installing a rough country 6in on a 6.0
Did you leave the front level kit on with the 6 in lift?

how long did that install take
Who did your undercoating?

this thing looks way bigger then a 6'' lol. is this a true 6'' lift or did you had a spacer in the front?
Great video. But on the 6.0 / You said that thats a 6 inch lift? from rough country?
6.0 lift kit is from pro-comp
Did you have to Regear after the lift and the tires? How about you diésel mileage?
No need to regear, diesels make a lot of torque which helps push the bigger tires
How long did you take?
did you have to take your truck to the alignment shop after??
Yes, definitely will need alignment after
Do you know the part number to this rough country kit?
Link for the lift?
Is the process the same for the 6.4L ?
Yes very similar i have 09 and just received my 6in 4link superlift exact same setup
I got the same lift kit on my 13 but the only thing I don't like is the front springs are slightly bend toward the front is this ok anybody?
If your coil springs are arched then you need more drop in your radius arm drop brackets
@kevin is correct, or you can purchase a 4 link kit which would give you full adjustment
Can you remove these kits after ?
Yes, just keep all your stock components

Apologies as I’ve been busy, hope your install went smooth
F250 or 350?
My truck is a F350 with the single rear end but most people get confused so I just call it a F250 most times

Do it yourself to save some money. Now go out and buy these tools you'll need to do the job correctly. Sounds like good reasoning to me.

Did you have any drive shaft issues?
