Exploring West Bay in Galveston TX!!!

- FInally!! A few hours with no rain! We made our way to west bay in Galveston Texas to explore for a place to camp on an upcoming video. Of course we slipped in a little fishing as well. Galveston Bay is really high with all the rain we've had the PAST SIX WEEKENDS.
I've been looking for that 1 thing that separates me from other fishing youtubers and I think I've found it. I'm going to start camping on the spoil islands along the IWC. There's plenty of fishing channels and plenty of camping channels but nobody seems to do it at the same time. I love doing both so why not combine the two?

I tell my self every time I launch there, self, get those cleats laying on the tool box for next time I go there so everyone can have a way to tie off their boats. Obviously I forget every time !

If you can get a sheeper to hit an artificial, you've done something special cuz those guys are fairly picky. They will sometimes hit a gulp shrimp and the Florida Boys have some luck with realistic crab lures, but they are usually not caught on artificials. Where you were a cast net would have had you bait for days. Keep 'um coming
Man I’ve got them to turn on so many baits. It’s the one fish I cannot catch to save my life but gonna keep at it 🙌🏼

Thanks, I mean the holder on top of your platform that you are resting your push pole on. Similar to you I’m trying to solo pole and grab the rod to cast on the platform. I need something to set the pole down on. Thanks for your help!

They're for keeping the fly line on the deck of the boat.
