    I am from Austin and I go to Galveston often. But not w a boat. I am a huge skiff fan like solo skiff and it will be fun fishing and shredding the intels of Galveston island.
    At the beginning of the video with drone aerial view, where’s that intel or canal spot in Galveston?

    Nice job! I like your videos. I have a solo skiff myself, but I no longer run an external gas tank when I take it out. I just bring a 1 gal hand held tank with a spout and keep it in my hatch, and that’s enough gas for me to fish for 2 separate days of fishing in the Galveston Bay and surrounding areas. Plus my Tohatsu runs better using the internal tank anyways. This gives you the much needed leg room in the back when fishing from the stern or what not. By the way this is just a suggestion, so maybe give it a shot. It works well for me. Good luck and tight lines 🎣🎣🎣

    That’s hilarious when those birds kept dive bombing you! I was out in Saint Charles Bay last weekend on the kayaks with my dad. I was coming up to these wood posts sticking up out of the water and I scared off that same type of bird in the video and he started to dive bomb me, he was ticked. We saw a 5-6 foot alligator that same day and a 4 foot alligator gar. That was one crazy day.

      Trace Furlong I’ve had birds peck me before and it’s no joke they come in hard. Funny to hear you have had the same experience. Thanks for watching I’m glad you enjoyed the content! I know I had a good time making the video.

    If you haven’t already, please call TPWD and report that snook! That is an extremely rare catch on this part of the coast. One that size means there are breeder sized fish in the area which would be awesome!

    • @KagenFishing
      @KagenFishing  4 года назад

      R W I was just playing around. I think it was just a sand trout. It didn’t have the head shape or lips of a snook. But you made me kinda question myself now lol.

    How far can you go on a full tank of gas in the solo?

    • @KagenFishing
      @KagenFishing  4 года назад +1

      Longer than I would ever want to attempt. Seriously have ran over 30 miles over a couple days and still had 1/2 a tank. I use the gas tank that came with the tohatsu motor and it holds close to 3 gallons.
