I changed the plugs in my 6.1 powered Challenger recentlly to. Its a great idea that they put the battery in the trunk, and makes them last a lot longer since they're not in the heat of the engine bay. Speeking of that, we also replaced it with a braille battery and saved 28 lbs. Also recently replaced the wheels and tires with Mickey T 305x45 drag radials, and hooks nicely now. Plus between them and the battery, it saved almost 100 lbs total wt
love the filming and everything about this video keep the 6.1 hemi series up!! Would love to see transmission fluid or diff service or anything hahaha.
This video was extremely helpful for me! I appreciate you posting this content. I finally tackled this job yesterday. It was a breeze thanx to you. Saved me a lot of money by doing it myself. Thanx again!

Hello, can you tell me how can I stop my 07 6.1 from surging at idle sometimes, makes a sudden jump forward, feels like I'm going to launch?
Sounds like a bad throttle body

At what mileage should the plugs be replaced on the 6.1 ?
I change my all 5.7 hemi plugs every 60,000 miles. They are pretty worn down by then. Im still running my factory coils though. 185k on them

Great how-to video. Thanx. I’ll be doing this soon!
I pulled the engine out of my 2008 DODGE CHALLENGER SRT8 just to replace the plugs and to get a BETTER look at everything
Hey I need your help! What happens if I drop a rubber piece inside the engine after removing the spark plug??? I’m scared
If it’s a soft rubber it likely won’t do any harm.
@@SRTaddicts OMG THANK YOU I was so scared lol
Good lookin out brutha
Can’t wait for more videos on n the 6.1
Great instructions
Is he the guy from transformers who created magnatron?
Same as the 5.7

And now repeat this process every 30000 miles and don't forget your dilithium electrical Grease
30000 Milles???
Yep, make sure to lather the dielectric all over the coils, it improves performance.
@Frodo you think those are better than the MSD coils?
@Frodo ok kool im going to try them.
@Frodo why u didnt set at .065?
Anit seaze is mandatory and a little extra torque!!!
