I know this hospital well when my wife was alive I used to take her here for treatments and physio cause she was in a wheelchair and had multiple sclerosis she even had an x-ray in the x-ray room you went unfortunately she died in October 2016 but it was nice to see the old hospital again which brought back memories thanks for doing this hospital and yes I'm subscribed cheers
Sorry to hear that, glad we could bring back some memories for you. Thank you for subscribing also
I'm glad you didn't get caught.
I always imagine these security guards are sat on a chair, feet up on a desk, hat over their face and sleeping.
now expecting there P45
I'm a security guard and can confirm this is the case most of the time😂

Love the hospital finds, I have mentioned before that I work in a hospital (operating theatres department) that light was pretty special, they don't look like that anymore..
.I worked in theatres for 5 years and went on a secondment doing theatre supplies, logistics, finance and procurement and never looked back,17 years on I am still in the department. My office used to be part of the room where the CT scan was located, I actually sit in the room and can look through the window where the scanner used to be, it has been moved now and is in the angio suite, it is good to be able to see who is coming and going.
The hospital was obviously dated but if I am honest except for the building structure possibly affected by RAAC it could still be functioning as a cottage hospital.
Enjoy seeing hospitals, good to capture this before it is more than likely demolished.
Thanks for this, it's interesting to hear the thoughts of someone in the field that knows a lot more about these buildings than us. I would suspect it will be flattened or perhaps work will commence to prevent the unsafe areas getting worse
I'd bet security are absolutely fuming right now.
It's quite sad to think of the time and finance to build a place like this hospital. To just walk away and leave it all behind seems criminal.
A Tory's wet dream (a freshly closed hospital)!
Tory Britain, their party donors need make payback of corrupt Tories
They are criminals that's how they waste the money they take from us.
What an great explore! The whispering helps with the whole atmosphere. Glad that it was documented and you didn't got caught.
The equipment at the radiology department isn't very outdated. The Shimadzu RADspeed Pro is I think 10-15 years old, for an X-ray system that's old, but not outdated. The AGFA digitiser is old, but still being made and sold so parts will also be available. What usually happens with those kind of machines is that a reseller buys it, and then resell it to an veterinary clinic or another hospital in an poor country. I hope that this happens to those machines.
The powerjog on the other hand is ancient, and probably not worth anything at this time. I could see that end up in the trash-pile really quick.
Appreciate this information. The whispering does make it more tense! I reckon the light will be scrapped, but the X-ray will be removed and transported to another medical facility
Excellent video, thanks for sharing it. Kind of sad that the building still isn’t in use as it looks very clean, even if it is old. Such a wasteful enterprise the NHS is
No problem
Thanks lads for a very interesting video with a mix of run down buildings and as you commented on some very modern equipment inside that looked as if it had just been turned off yesterday.
Glad you enjoyed the video, some of the equipment was very bizarre to see!
Great video as always, look forward to the next.
Great video all, as usual. Really enjoyable. That light at the 4m (ish) mark still reminds me of something out of War of the worlds ! / Good x-ray kit remaining it seems. Mark.
Thanks a lot
The sluice machine/room is basically where shitty nappies, garments go, that machine will blend up shitty nappies and send it down the sewer, mmm nice! 🤣
They macerate papier-mâche bedpans and urine bottles, not nappies.
Hi that was an excellent video and I really enjoyed that explore.
Hi Alistar how you doing mate? Great video as always well edited with perfect background music added in the dark scenes its crazy the last time you entered the building the security guards was inside and immediatly stopped you but at least now you have done it without getting caught instantly, this hospital is really cool and old with really old medical equipment still there in the abandoned building wow that light is massive and old bet it still worked if power was still working there plus the drier still there crazy that they left behind the semi vintage x-ray machine really big room for the film rolls, its a big pool for a hospital you wouldnt believe that they would have a big one like this, it really is a big ward which is very stripped sadly but that piano in the waiting room was really nice though its a good thing that you didnt play it as wherever the security guards were they would of heard it and came rushing in to find you plus kick you out but that storage room for the chemist looks industrial indeed that crack in the supports of the ceiling were very dangerous indeed its a good thing they put support poles up to keep it up from falling down anyway i hope your having a good afternoon so far Alistair and keep up the great content on your channel as always as its so enjoyable and entertaining to watch 👍
I could feel the tension as you made your way around > whispering is necessary but it helps.😊
Amazed how much expensive equipment has been left there.. That Xray room equipment would cost alot.
Operating light is so cool , could grow plants & veg under that probably.
Happy you didn't get caught by security folk. Yes, I'm subbed with bell on, thanks brave explorers 😻🌠
Glad to hear that the tension was shared through the video. Indeed, it's likely that the X-ray will be moved out, we would imagine. Thank you!
Look forward to the next@@Urbandoned Be careful out there 😁
ya need to swot up on your pianos fellas, that was an upright not a grand piano 😂 still another VERY excellent upload from you guys
Terribly sorry! ;) thank you
Fantastic explore as always! 😁
Great explore and I can imagine it would have been tense with securiry around. 😊👍
Was a nerve-wracking one, for sure!
shame the equipment & fixtures and fitting are not recycled
Interesting place. I love old hospitals.
Very Interesting video as always, think it was probably a spinal injuries or orthopaedic rehabilitation centre. I did miss your release last week but worth waiting for.
Thanks very much, I think you're right
hello about 2 years ago you were at Ayr Station Hotel. dont no if you have heard it is on fire, two teenagers have been arrested in connection with blaze
ASMR exploring abandoned video
Imagine there's no security this time and you all tiptoeing for nothing!! 😬😂😂 Great exploration by the way 👍
Definitely not the case! But maybe we were just faking it to make the video more dramatic ;)
This is an amazing video.
just letting you know that the piano was not a grand piano it was an upright piano :)
edit: I apologize if this came across as rude.
That Sluice machine is shaped and designed for bedpans. A sluice machine gets rid of human waste in a sanitary way
Thanks for the information
I've found it. There's a good clue in the video.
Is this in Wales? As I noticed some Welsh written in places
Why is there security in abandoned buildings?
Love
You certainly are not quiet
is it in the UK?
They must of heard you every sound echoes around the building
Lol as a security gaurd myself what would I do if I found you 😂😂 I got high powered torches and defence sprays which I nearly had to use last month 😅😅
Hope we don't come across you in an abandoned building then!
Anyone know where this hospital was located

I cannot understand why anyone would like this. You may as well go and look around your local hospital. I personally have seen all that I want to see in hospitals. These lads have put up some good videos in the past. This is not one of them
You changed your name Pickering?
It's a fair point, I think there are a few reasons why people enjoy an outdated hospital building exploration. 1: the equipment/architecture can be old-fashioned and can bring back memories/nostalgia for past workers or visitors of a hospital. 2: apocalyptic factor, seeing a building so familiar and common but in an eerie, empty condition, breaks conventions. 3: in this case, although the premises was a lot smaller than places we usually film, the video was made in my eyes, by the fact that security were somewhere inside and we had to sneak around, creating tension and (hopefully) excitement for viewers. 4: it is simply a site you are not allowed to enter. Locals may be intrigued by how their old hospital is looking nowadays, but won't be permitted entry. We can help them see inside with a video like this.
It is to each their own though, which is why we try and produce a variety of places and won't share a hospital now for a good while.
We all like different things. I'm not interested in military or underground sites so I don't watch videos with that in the title. You have the same option too.
Something can be uninteresting to someone and yet still objectively good. Rather unnecessarily dismissive of you, in my opinion.
