Campground Review | Verde Valley | Thousand Trails
Verde Valley RV & Camping Resort is one of our favorite campgrounds and areas to explore. It is just 20 miles from Sedona, Arizona in Cottonwood.
The campground is well maintained has a lot of activities for the whole family. There is a pool, spa, 2 lodges, a viewing deck to see the amazing sunsets and so much more. It has 340 sites, bathrooms with showers, and a laundry room.
We love this campground because of the views of the mountains, amazing sunsets, and at night you can see the stars. The sites located at the bottom of the campground have grass. A number of the sites are pull throughs and have panic tables. There are full hookups at most sites with the option of 30 or 50 amps. There are spaces for tents and some have power.

We could stay at this campground for a few weeks and never leave but there is also so much to do i near by. Sedona which is about 30 minutes away, and has some of the most beautiful red-rock buttes, canyons, climbing and hiking trails.
Take a walk or drive next door to Alcantara Vineyard, even if you don’t drink wine this is an amazing place with beautiful views and so much to do, such as kayaking, horseback riding, stargazing, and you can even get a massage in the vineyard. In the near by area you will find restaurants, stores, fuel stations, RV shops, bike shops, everything you could need.
This is a Thousand Trails campground and you can stay even if you are not a member of Thousand Trails.
