    Look at that sweatshirt! Keep repping Americas Team! We have the same "issue" with not having a different window to look out of. "the grass patch"..haha. I remember ya'll talking about the lack of water around the area...I think it still takes us by shock when we think about that in respect to some of the other areas we've been to. We drove through Flag on our way to Page....and we felt like we went down the tallest peak when we rolled down hwy89! Good stuff ya'll and great review!

      I figured that wearing that sweatshirt would give either some positive feedback or some friendly banter! What a season... sigh. And yes our next rig will definitely have "camp-side" windows - it wasn't anything we even thought of when shopping! The fact that there was running water in a river is HUGE! We honestly were wondering if there was some man-made system pumping the water haha! And as you noted, the area up near Flagstaff is really up there in elevation - I wouldn't want to drive up the San Francisco Peaks tho! Thanks so much for following along, we really appreciate you guys!

    I’ve been to that campground three times. I love it & I have a TT membership so I love not having to pay for overnight accommodations. Planning another trip there soon! Great review!

    Hi friends. Thanks for showing us around Verde Valley. We keep hearing folks talk about Thousand Trails but haven't looked into it for ourselves. Traffic circles with the RV, arrgghh. Thanks for sharing that tidbit. Sedona looks just gorgeous. Thanks for your honest review of this campground.

    • @LivinginOurNow

      Honestly we wouldn't get a TT membership in our current stage of life - it's really limited out here in the Southwest, and since we're lucky to get out once a month to go camping... the overall ROI is low. But hey, we love free stuff (or is it a $25k membership??) so we're glad we got to use it before it expired! I really need to work on editing our Sedona vlog - we're excited to share it but this is the most nervous I've been about editing because it's SUCH an incredible, well known place, and I want to do it justice! We really appreciate the support you have given us, thanks so much for including us in your YT circle!

    Nice review, always appreciate the information you share. Love the waterfall, that is a huge bonus. Proximity to a store is a must as it never fails that something got left behind or forgotten.

      Thanks so much for being a part of our adventures! The waterfall was super awesome - we were surprised that there was never any one else there when we went! Our goal is to some day have no need to visit a store... stay tuned haha!

      Thanks Nathan! I don't know if we would pay for a membership based on our current position in life, but we were pleased with the campground for sure!

      Oh how cool! If you're staying at this park it is pretty nice - and now you know about the weird site layout situation. We definitely recommend the area we stayed at! Thanks for watching guys! 😀

    Good information guys. Wish Thousand Trails would work for us but with my work schedule and there time limit on staying it’s not possible. Cool area for sure though 👍🏼

      Thanks for the feedback! Honestly if it weren't for the "free" trial membership we got through LazyDays we probably wouldn't consider a TT membership unless we were retired/empty nesters. But it sure was fun!

    90% of that park has zero cell coverage regardless of who your cell carrier is. We have ATT, T-Mobile, and Verizon and none of them worked. We have stayed there 3 times, in 3 different areas each time. You pretty much have to be in the very top section to get even a weak signal (not enough for streaming) but that area almost never has any vacant sites and there are a LOT of permanent RV'ers living there. These are the people with sheds and decks. It seemed like most of the rigs there were junkers and the last section is pretty sketch. Like, lock up your stuff sketch. There are also no restaurants or shopping of any kind close by (at least a 15-minute drive in any direction) so you're kind of in the middle of nowhere like you mentioned. There's just not much to do. We have stayed at nearly every Thousand Trails campground but this was one of our least favorites.

    Did you see the hummingbird @ 6:09 or so? It paused just as you were talking about the natural beauty around the park.

    Just because a park is listed as age restricted does not mean it actually is. I stay in Mesa Spirt and it is listed as age restricted and we have families stay here all of the time. Call and ask the camp ground.

    Appreciate the review. I am taking my family there did you notice if there was any direct access to ATV trails?

    • @LivinginOurNow
      @LivinginOurNow  3 года назад +2

      That's a great question! We did not notice - not that there wasn't direct access available, but it wasn't something we were actively looking for! Lots of desert however, I'm sure access is easy enough. Let us know what you find out!

    First come first serve? That would suck if you drove all the way there and it was full.

    • @LivinginOurNow
      @LivinginOurNow  3 года назад +1

      Yes the whole first come first serve thing is a little... concerning. Thankfully we were able to find a spot! There were several people who we saw driving around in the evening trying to find a spot - that would be no fun!

    Great campground been there twice. But very very lousy cell service.

    • @LivinginOurNow
      @LivinginOurNow  3 года назад +1

      Yes, the cell service was non existent! Great if you're trying to be "off grid"... not great for staying connected to family! Thanks for watching :)

    Do not try to get internet thru the Jabba company it does not work and they will not refund your money this company should be looked into by the AG of Arizona and I’m not sure why TT keeps referring them in there pamphlets, there a total rip off for internet in this Rv park
