Thanks for the help! Watching this gave me confidence and I just installed it a couple days ag. I had a lot of wires that I just wrapped around the camera and zip tied in place. What did you do with your wires?
Thanks for a great video, you solved a problem for me with mention of the AUTO switch to your headlights needing to be in manual mode. My camera wasn't working after my installation of camera, and checking this video solved the problem with no work, thanks again.
So what did you end up doing with the monitor. That’s what I’m stuck on. I see they have a suction mount on amazon and their site but haven’t seen any video reviews for it holding up on the windshield.
We purchased this suction cup mount bracket: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TQLHYJ2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It works okay, vibrations loosen the screws so we find ourselves re-tightening them frequently. But for $18 and our weekend warrior lifestyle.. it works great!
We have to be careful the Monitor doesn't obscure the view out the front window. One post said some states will fine for obstructed views. In an accident, may factor fault. I'm thinking his placement in this video will be my choice.
I mounted mine on my dash with a police mount by Panavise. I got a universal one from a Canadian eBay seller cheap and drilled my f250 dash to fit. Screw it. I utilized a magnet type mount so I can pull the display unit off with magnet force. It works good but falls if I catch air in my truck. Lol. Not joking. It was an accident.
Haha I feel that catching air in your truck may be frowned upon... especially with something hooked up! A strong magnet type mount seems like a solid idea (no pun).
Thanks!
Well done video.
My questing why do they put them up so high can they be put down lower for a better field of view .
Spurs on the rear view. 1st Cav?
Did you ever install Extender?.Thx
very helpful video
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks guys we appreciate this video , helps us a lot
How are the cameras working? Any new issues? Thanks
We have a GD Imagine and really appreciated seeing your video and how to install it on a GD.
I had that one at first... I switched to the dominator and haven't regretted it at all.
Hmm I don't think I had seen anyone mention the dominator. What's the major difference?
We have the dominator as well. It was the RD7 mini ready to use with Furrions setup.
hows the night vision on this?

We are leaning towards this Haloview. Love the video

Thanks for the video I just bought this same Halo system. Wish you would have shown wiring into the trailer. Probably not too complicated?
What did you end up doing with the extra wire?
You guys don't upload anymore :(
Found yall on a Facebook RUclips page. Subscribed. We almost bought a wireless camera for our vintage camper. May still buy one.
Welcome aboard! It's definitely been a beneficial addition to our rig!
Good job... we just installed ours as well!
Awesome! I just hope it doesn't fall off haha 😂
Would you like to test our propane quick connect fittings ?
You should push the wire through the rubber gasket. That way it's inside the trailer wall and protected.
You're going to love having a back up camera. Backing up is easier and we love seeing the traffic around us! Nice job - Michelle & Brian
Thanks friends! We really enjoy being able to see traffic around us - makes changing lanes a lot less stressful for sure!

Nicely done! They make them now to clip on your rear view mirror and the receiver that you can mount quite close to the monitor on top of the camper
Looks like a good affordable way to go. Thanks for sharing!
You bet - thanks for watching!
New sub here! Thanks for the info! We are looking into getting one of these! Great video!

Another dude playing irritating music on their video. I’m out.
The camera system is total trash, don't waste your money.
