- Our Campground Review of Lake and Shore in South Jersey, just 1 mile to the beach. We are enjoying RV Life in this Thousand Trails campground.
Drive along with us through Lake and Shore Campground as we do our campground review.
Arriving at Lake and Shore was an easy drive from the Philadelphia area to South Jersey. Pulling in to this campground and check in was equally easy. We then get to pick our spot, we see a huge spot on the end and back right in. The ground is mostly level and there are full hook ups. Today RV Life is easy at Lake and Shore.
South Jersey’s Lake and Shore has the only water park in the Thousand Trails system. Lake and Shore in South Jersey is a Thousand Trails property but you do not need to be a member to enjoy this campground.
In addition to the water park, there is a pool with nice lounge chairs, tables and shade. A snack bar with lots of food choices, game room, different social rooms, a store, and laundry facility. The lake water was warm and clear, there are paddle boards and other water toys to enjoy for free. Bike, hike, or walk the dogs on the trails. See the website for complete list of amenities.

We're headed up there for a full week at the end of June. Is the waterpark open every day or just on weekends?
I was there 2 years ago and when it opened it was opened everyday. I would suggest checking with them as to what’s happening this year.

Yes they are. The lake was pretty warm too
