Living in Arizona is quite a unique experience because of the vastness that the state offers. From the Sonoran Desert in the south to the high country in the north all the way up towards the Four Corners east and the Grand Canyon in the west. Known as the Grand Canyon state, Arizona is diverse in many ways. The state tree is the Palo Verde, the state cactus is the Saguaro, the state bird is the Cactus wren. Cant even reconcile Sedona and Disneyland being in the same sentence. Sedona is too amazing for words. Thank you God!♥️
I went October 23, 2023, the weather was awesome! Oak Creek Canyon was my favorite. I love the whole area
What was the average temp while you were there? We are going this October
I'm just checking this blog out to see when's the best season to go.
I suggest driving from FlaggStaff to Sedona on that spectacular road 89A Going down in elevation truly shows the spectacular views
Just visited last week. Absolutely stunning views. Loved it there.
Beautiful state. Full of quirky and interesting little towns to visit and explore. And those views are gorgeous.
I used to visit oak Creek in 1963 through 1970. They're usually was nobody at slide Rock. It was peaceful and there were trout everywhere! Now it's like going to encanto Park in downtown Phoenix and they often have to close it down by July or August because of all the fecal matter in the water!! It's too bad when beautiful places are discovered and then destroyed........
I guarantee you that oak creek is not destroyed. I don't go to the slide rock area but under the bridge instead, and it's often that I'm the only one there for hours and it's beautiful and teeming with life 💘 I drive up there from PHX once a week! Still amazing
The Pink Jeep tours are the best!
I moved to the Verde Valley in 1996 and have never wanted to leave. ❤
I visited Sedona for a day in 2015 and was charmed by its rustic beauty
Yeah, when I went to Grand Canyon, & Sedona & Verde Valley area, I really felt good. Like Az was my bithplace. But not really, a transplant like everyone else nowadays with easy travels
This was cool; because I was born in Flagstaff and had grandparents in Sedona; so, my old stomping grounds.Oak Creek Canyon is beautiful in the fall when all the trees are turning colors from the season.
Thanks! I've been in AZ for 24 years and still have soo much to see and experience. Now I know where to go and what to see.
Really nice tour, thanks Jeff!
Great Video!! I'm familiar with the whole area and you did a great job of presenting every aspect and interesting sights in the area.
Oak Creek Canyon 😍😍😍 beautiful shots with some highlights of this gorgeous state!
04:05 I'd just chill there, in those small pools or on the rocks all day long. 04:24 ahhhh nice.
Fortunately we will be there after Christmas. First time.
Nice overview! For those going toJerome, don’t miss the Douglas State Park on your way into town. It is actually an old mansion with fascinating historical items and information, ESPECIALLY a 15-minute video with a ghost narrating Jerome’s history.
Nice video with good information for the travelers.
Oh what a beautiful video. Thanks
I’ve been to all these places. In all this area. I love. I miss abs want to come back
My absolute dream is to make it to Arizona one day. I'm not much of a traveler but I'd deal with the travel anxiety to make it there! ❤
It’s worth it. A lot to explore.
@@jro341 it looks incredible. I live in a state that is complete opposite of Arizona. I do believe it would be a trip of a lifetime! Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to experience it!
@@nameunknown5736 I went from Michigan to Arizona, it is a nice change from a long time out east.
@@jro341 did you move there or just visit? I live in Maine.
@@nameunknown5736 Moved.
People talk about crystals in a negative way but look how many customers that crystal shop has.. People love them! Is part of our world a part of us.
Yes cause its considered idolatry
Beautiful. Thank you for a very informative video. I've lived in Phoenix for the past 40+ years and did not know of or have never been to some of this places so this was great.
Great video ❤❤Want to visit Arizona again for sure. Wish you a Merry Christmas🌲🎅🧑🎄from Sweden🇸🇪
Thank you friend merry Christmas
This is the best time of the year to be in Arizona.
Not for me I prefer sizzling summer in Sedona.
We miss Arizona. ❤️❤️❤️😍
When I was in high school, I remember skinny dipping in slide rock. My friends uncle owned that back then. How things have changed.
Beautiful..I have not yet been there and I've lived here for 13 years
Thank you so much very very Nice vidéo 👍
That is one of the springs we get water from.
Funny...I call the Florida Keys "Keysworld" because I think it's just a big playland too! Once you cross over into Key Largo it's pure funtime all the way to Key West. 🌞
Very nice
God's blessed place🌍👍🍏
Very interesting with the paranormal activity that goes on. I can only imagine how much those walls would talk if given the chance
The Sedona downtown is actually called Uptown 🙂
AND they have salesman acting like carnies trying to get you to purchase a tour.
@@mf5531that’s called Timeshare, and it’s like when guys gawk at you when your walking best not to make eye contact or engage with them!
Thanks for the video. I'm thinking of going to Alternative to meds center there.. is it near Sedona?
@12:15 theres an Orb that flew in front of the camera. You were standing in the haunted hotel. Goes from the bottom left to the top right of the screen.
Orbs are airborne dust, water droplets, or insects. I learned that taking a basic photograph class.
Sedona mi è rimasta nel cuore,è il posto più bello che ho visto, vorrei tanto ritornarvi❤❤❤
We are going to Sedona April 28 for the week is that a busy time to go and is the weather not too cold
We wanted to look into the hot air balloon ride is this a good tour
Yeah that’s an extremely busy month from march until October is just crazy anymore, but you will still enjoy 😉
Yes summer time is crazy make sure to get there early
I'll be there in July, here's to hoping I can avoid the monsoons I love those Sedona clear blue skies.
Did you know exposure (being cold) can make you dehydrated?
It's a great week to visit California, valleys are going to be pleasant, sunny 11/6/2024
What train ride? Would certainly like to hear more about that.
Verde Valley Train
Thank you@@LivinginArizona
I wanted to move there in 2015 when my ex GF left me and by late 2016 met a cool lady who 7 months later became my wife. still trying to move to AZ tho.
Used to live at Amante @ Verde Santa Fe just east of Cottonwood but before you come into Cornville. It was great to see all the places we used to go to. I would encourage golfers to play a round or two at Agave Highlands on Cornville Road just east of Cottonwood and The Sedona Golf Resort. You’ll notice your drives go further in the high desert air. Fishermen and women need to drop a line into Oak Creek which parallels Highway 89A for several miles once you get into the canyon east of Sedona. 89A itself is quite the scenic drive between Sedona and Flagstaff but it will keep the driver very busy as it winds its way uphill into the 7,000’ elevation of Flagstaff.
We've thought about Amante, is it a good place to live?
@@ewetoob137 It was a good place to live 8 years ago. My wife and I had to move back in 2015 due to family health issues or we would still be there. However I don’t know how things are now.
If you are considering moving there be aware it’s an HOA. It should be fairly easy to contact someone on the board. I would suggest asking for a copy of the HOA’s Rules and Regulations. When we lived there we had no problems with any of the R&R’s but like I said that has been 8 years now.
I see the golf course has changed hands which could be good or bad. It was a great course when I was there. It was not connected with the Amante HOA so if you’re a golfer and in the area you could check it out. I hope this helps you out.
@@midcon077 Thank you, how nice of you to reply! I appreciate it very much, best wishes to you.
@@ewetoob137 Happy Holidays to you and yours!
3:14 those views
Uptown not downtown in Sedona Cottonwood has an old town and Prescott has downtown. 😊
All I ask is if people are going to visit Arizona please do not mess up the state like you normally do when you come out here as tourists.
I’m going in Abril
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How is the weather in mid- September?
Probably hot but cooler than southern Arizona.
Sedona is the best beats Hawaii and other tourists areas
I can’t find the 2 for 59 helicopter ride
The slide rock has had a lot of sewage backups I heard 😂
Slide Rock was shut down for a lot of years because tourists came out here and threw all their junk all over the place so which means hey tourist if you come out here please respect the state
Be careful if you go to slide rock, the rocks are very slippery and the water ice cold
Sedona way way too touristy now days and....traffic a nightmare, nothing like a few years ago...But scenery Spectacular, when you get away from downtown...
Larry’s Antiques closed
❤ Cottonwood due to the proximity to Verde Valley and Sedona area.
Disneyland is right, cuz it's sure crowded and expensive.
Sedona “was” a nice place .. BUT it’s become overrun.. sucks anymore..
Ruined 🤬🤬🤬
It's crowded with tourists and traffic can be brutal but it's still magic and the crowds are good for local businesses.
So many tourists so crowded….
I’m going tomorrow and I know it’s going to be crowded
I don't mind the crowds, and they're good for local shops and restaurants.
Guys remember when you walk with a lady walk on the street side
Looking to visit in 2025
Pronouncing Verde like ver-dee instead of ver-day is killing me.
That's how it's pronounced here.
@@RoyalRosesverde is Spanish for green doesn’t matter where you live verde is VER-DE period.
You pronounce it verr-de
Just don’t go there on a weekend. Visitors do not know traffic circle protocol.
Sedona is too crowded anymore. Not worth it.
Best thing to do in Sedona?
Get the hell out of there because it’s been a tourist trap for years.
You’re welcome in advance.
I was looking for a place to recover from eye surgery so far it was a choice between Sedona and Roswell, New Mexico.
Tourism has destroyed Northern Arizona...too many people...
I greed.
Ukrainian flag in the soul of US? How disrespectful… this is USA not Ukraine!
I hate when my favorite tourist towns hang up political flags, I want to get the f*** away from politics when I vacation.
@@wendaltvedt4673Exactly! And how many US flags or other foreign flags were there flying in Ukraine before 2014!? QUID PRO QUO
Absolutely a town that sucks
