Are you planning a trip to New Mexico? I hope you found this video helpful! Let me know what I left out. :)
One day we'll go, it's actually on our bucket list, another great one, Thanks 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
@@docbrown6550thanks! Have a great time when you go. :)
Great video. New Mexico is our favorite state for multiple reasons. We road trip out there from Florida. There is so much to see and do without the crowds. The night skies are incredible compared to the southeast. A few other places I'd recommend are Cimarron Canyon, Eagle Nest, Red River and Capulin Volcano.
Wonderful! Adding those to my list for next time.
Yes!! My family is heading to Santa Fe in a month and this was really fun to watch. I’ve been to Bandolier National Monument once about 7 years ago, but I still remember how exciting the trip was.
My favorite sections of this video would definitely be the petroglyphs and the rattlesnake museum. Very informative and interesting!
They have Los Pollos Hermanos there.. the best chicken you will ever taste
This is the video I've been searching for. Thank you so much for the professionally made and well thought through video!
Thank you so much! Happy travels. :)
I grew up here in NM. Great grandfather homesteaded here around 1902.
This is a wonderful video of thing’s to do.
Safe travels to everyone.
Lucky you! Thanks for watching.
I just shared this. I think it is the best short video of the best of New Mexico. I've lived here since 1974 and love it. Thanks for posting this great travelogue.
Thank you for the compliment! Means a lot. I loved my time there and hope to return again soon. :)
Beautiful editing and great suggestions! I lived in Los Lunas, NM back in 1985/86 as a child and was in awe of it. I have an Aunt that lives in Albuquerque still and I’m working to convince my family to make it our next vacation spot. I’d love to try all these places you highlighted!
Really well done video. I love New Mexico! 💕
Excellent video! Thanks so much for sharing it!
The northern and central part of NM is not the only interesting place in this state. While in the Air Force, I was stationed in Roswell NM. There you have New Mexico Military Institute, Bottomless Lakes a little north of Roswell, Ruidoso NM where there used to be a very well known Quarter horse race track, then on down further in the southeast corner you have Carlsbad Caverns. South Central NM has the very well known White Sands. You can't limit yourself to just one area of this state.
I agree with you! I’ll be back to explore more in the future!
So beautiful.i can't wait to go again.
This is one of the best videos I’ve found of the area. Thank you!
Great job! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing and for all the information
Land of enchantment is numero uno!🎆 happy holidays
This was very very helpful. It is helping me to map out the best ways to see New Mexico along with hiking trails.
You made me smile SO much in this video. All this looks and sounds incredible! I might have to move to this state for a year so I can walk all over and explore! I hope to find friends like you some day! for now, I'm going to New Mexico and exploring all this on my own! I cannot wait!!!!!!! 😃
Hope you have the best time! There's no way New Mexico can disappoint. :)
Great video, thank you. I am planning a trip to NM and you showed me some places I never heard of and now gotta go to.
Amazing video!!!! Extremely well done! Thank you for sharing
Glad you found it helpful!
It's such a relaxed to watch this beautiful scene, 👍
Excellent video!!
I know where I’m staying now. Thanks for your guide. Really helpful in planning our birthday trip for Feb 2023!
Happy birthday! It’ll be a great place to celebrate.

We are leaving for New Mexico this Friday and found your video very helpful. Also, your narration and production values are excellent. We've been watching a number of similar videos about NM and yours is a cut above! Happy travels!
Really appreciate the compliment! Thank you. Have a great time in New Mexico. Great time of year to be there. :)
I’m spending the week between Christmas and New Years in Taos….this video has been fantastic! Even with all the research I’ve done, I didn’t know about some of the activities you presented. Thanks!
That sounds like a wonderful time of year to be there! Have a great trip.
Excellent video, traveling to NM in a few weeks.
Great Video, I"m in Colorado and love traveling down to New Mexico
Good video! Very informative
Thanks, Juan!
I love your videos. Your narration is clear, the photography is fantastic, and wonderful itineraries.
Thank you!
Thank you for being upfront to begin with. Beautiful video throughout kept me interested. Very few Tubers know how to put a quality piece together. I am making my way to New Mexico in the spring in some of those areas you covered, great job all around.
Thanks so much! Hope you have a great trip. :)
I love this
awesome video, very informative!
Thanks so much!
Thank you thank you for your recommedations! Visiting New Mexico next month, so pumped!
Have fun!
@@akfasso thank you!!
Great video, am travelling to NM and CO in September and would love to visit much of what you have featured. Thank you!
Thank you! Enjoy your trip!
I just got back from New Mexico visited Los Alamos, White Rock, and Abiquiu/ GhostvRanch. I need to plan my trip for next year.
Thanks for good information. Will be in Albuquerque and Santa Fe Late October.
Have a great time!
Great video! Like many others, I think New Mexico is the countries best kept secret! If you come with the right mind set it will cleanse your soul and renew your spirit in a way that gives you what you need to face the daily grind of life. My family lived in Albuquerque when I was 5 years old and I’ve never forgotten the experience and the impression it left on my heart all these years. I’ll be retiring soon and plan on returning for good. Keep the videos coming!
Wonderful to hear!
New Mexico is an under-rated destination. My family loved rafting on the Rio Grande. A couple of other activities we enjoyed in this area- Pecos National Historic park (about 30mins East of Santa Fe right off I-40) and a horseback ride in the Sandia Mtns (about 30 mins or so East of ABQ). Southern NM has a whole host of incredible spots too!
Thanks for sharing!
Thats cool
Thanks!
Samina -- Thank you so much for the "super thanks"! I am new to using that feature and didn't realize you contributed! It means a lot and will go toward a nice cup of tea on my next adventure! :)

I had to translate this, but thank you! :)
Making the trip to Albuquerque in September 2022, so excited 😊
Have a great time! Where are you traveling from?
From Virginia, 1600 miles. Traveling with 2 dogs, lol. Making it a two week trip. We are a retired couple so we can take our time and explore.
Wonderful! That will be a great trip. When I was younger, I traveled with my family in our RV across the country and brought along our dog for the ride. A lot of my favorite memories include having my dog in tow to explore new places. :) Have a great time!
Going to New Mexico in February!
Have a great time!
Hey, you country is absolutely beautiful. I have to say, Boston, NYC, Texas (Dallas) and Florida as we speak are on top of my list to visit. I’m not too sure about New Mexico? Of course I want to visit but who knows when? as USA is such a massive country to visit.
Thank you kindly for your time in making this amazing professional video. Believe me, your work hasn’t gone unnoticed. Thank you kindly 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for your kind words, Wayne! I hope you are able to visit all of those places soon!
@@akfasso Thank you kindly for sharing an amazing video 🙏🏻
Your next time try PieTown and Cammeron a great place to stay is Casa Del Gavilan bed and breakfast. Chaco Valley. Enjoy! Also, the VLA a hug valley west of Socaro the antenna are for listening for signals from space, it also has a musium.
Thanks for the recommendations! Will keep them in mind for my next trip.
❤
Hubby & I are planning a trip there this summer. We're thinking white sands but it's a bit out the way from where we plan to stay (Santa Fe area). Decisions, decisions lol
It is pretty far from Santa Fe, but I visited there as a child and it was beautiful!
thanks
You’re welcome!
Los Pollos Hermanos was never a meth lab in Breaking Bad. But it *was* the headquarters of a notorious drug lord, so you can still have that laugh … 😊
You’re right. :)
I love my state
I live here. Been here all My life. Born & Raised. Also we are Real & True Volcano State. Active too. All types of Volcanoes. Super too. Marrs only found here. Lava tunes & More. Hawaii doesn't have anything on us!!
Great video! If you think Ojo Caliente is not "luxurious" enough, you should have been there before the major renovation and expansion. Very primitive! I liked it better then. There's a great hiking trail behind the spa, too.
Good to know! I don’t mind a primitive spa experience. :) Wish I could have seen it back in the day!
Nice video. Very helpful to plan my trip to Albuquerque and Santa Fe. I see you used a drone for some shots. I'm wondering why you did not use it for the Rio Grande Canyon bridge?
I probably should have used it there! :) But, in truth, I don’t recall even having it with me that particular day. I may have left it back at the Airbnb.
I've visited Chaco Culture National Park. I wonder why it is not included in your video though you went to Bisti Badlands.
It was on my initial list. Not enough time. 🙃
Don't leave any valuables in your car exposed. Make sure your car doors are locked. At night, make sure your vehicle is under the brightest light around. Remove the wire between the distributor and the coil and put it in your pocket. Enjoy Albuquerque!
Just went to ghost ranch.
which month are you guys visiting? is it in the spring?
I was there during the last week of March into April.
What time of year did you travel here?
Early April.
see you ABQ by September 2022
Hangover food == Stoner food. Another big thing in NM now that it's legal.
You should have gotten a Footlong Chile Dog at The Doghouse. They're the best in the state. The corndogs are meh.
I'm going to Albuquerque in October this year.
And, number one! Search for your stolen car,..Two, put up with low rider punks cruising the Santa Fe plaza. Yeah, great place! I grew up there. Don't forget to go in packing iron. You'll need it!
#1 ANSWER - Getting Drunk and getting High on Drugs.
Based on where you visited, you really didn’t see real NM 😂😂
You don't go to New Mexico "to do things".... its a life experience like no other. The places I've been and the mountains I've slept on top of... there not on a list.
Good video. I live in Colorado and have been visiting New Mexico since 1978. I owned a home in Taos for a few years. New Mexico is very beautiful and the arts, culture, architecture, food and scenery are wonderful. However, New Mexico has really gone downhill since becoming a blue state. It is last or next to last in every demographic category and continues to get wore. The crime is terrible. Law enforcement, courts, schools, roads and healthcare are awful.
I'm going to guess that you are a Leo.
I am not.
@@akfasso what is your actual sign?
12:11 Wow lady, you want a $10 million Visit Center there? You must think Next Mexico is made of money. . . didn't you notice there are people there that need the money for mere survival? You really want them to roll out the red carpet for you
Ugh stop watching you at snake zoo
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU ARE IN INDIAN LAND , INDIAN LAND THE WHOLE COUNTRY OF AMERICA IS INDAIN LAND IN FACT IT'S NOT EVEN AMERICA BUT DINES INDIAN LAND
Nope American we won it fair and square
