    Looks like a lot of bonfires in your future. Maybe try lashing some barrels to that tree in the boat ramp to remove it easier

      Keith you are right about the bonfires. That is a great idea about the lashing barrels, thank you!

    Jeff- My ground floor apartment in New Bern was on Craven St. I’m guessing it was all flooded. I filled up the car, grabbed my dog and left for Md. Now I’m back in NC flying drones for disaster recovery for Duke Power as a temp gig. I was 1 block off the Neuse.
    What do you think?

      Oh wow, i am sorry to hear this. I know the Atomic Cycle shop had some water damage (also on Craven Street). Not good news to hear, but maybe some things can be salvaged. What do they have you doing for the disaster recovery? All the best to you!

    Glad damage was not catastrophic and most importantly no one was hurt. Is there a TFR over the area?

    • @JeffGreeneChannel
      @JeffGreeneChannel  5 лет назад

      No TFR in place, but FAA did send out a newsletter to warn drone operators not to interfere in the area.

      I live in Wilmington and stayed here through the storm. I’m inland about 5 miles but Lots of trees down and lots of debree. Since your north of me I’m curious if you have any news about Beaufort. I’m an artist and have several art pieces in a gallery up there. Any incite would be good. Thanks

      Hi Melanie, thanks for commenting. I have only heard what is in the new on Beaufort. Surge covered the streets (especially on the waterfront). Here's a short assessment from the Beaufort Mayor. Best of luck to you! news.wsiu.org/post/mayor-beaufort-nc-storm-damage#stream/0

      Thanks Jeff. I have some hope now. More than before. By the way I really enjoy the detail you give in your videos. I bought a Mavic air and am still learning how to use it.

      I was sent a message from FAA not to fly in an emergency situation. Although some people did. Maybe they didn’t get the certificate
