      @lewisanth4986 Год назад +7

      Pretty normal when egr and pcv system combine together.
      I had the same amount of buildup on our 2.0tdi after 150k kms

    • @lewisanth4986
      @lewisanth4986 Год назад +1

      If it's not regulated in your country, suggest you do an egr and pcv delete along with a complete clean as shown in the video.
      Engines run like brand spanking new afterwards.

    Excelente video, tengo un problema parecido en mi mazda cx-5 2.2 diésel, pero se enciende la luz del aceite y el motor se limita automáticamente, según el mecánico es que el motor esta sucio y con carboncillo (como se muestra en el vídeo), pero me cobra como 950 euros por limpiarlo completamente, no sé si es realmente ese el problema y si el precio es excesivo por el trabajo
    De antemano muchas gracias

    Is it mainly because of the egr?

    • @AmeriaUprising
      @AmeriaUprising 9 месяцев назад +1

      I safely say that it’s 90% due to the EGR

    • @SayWhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
      @SayWhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat 8 месяцев назад +1

      yeah but skyactive also manipulates valves and allows burn gas go into intake, no matter egr or not

      @TEMPLE7D 8 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, because my Skyactiv G turbo was similar to this and it’s not even a diesel lmao.

      any engine with PCV system (which is all engines) will redirect unburnt gas to the combustion chamber again, this will also contain oil vapor.

    • @edguix
      @edguix 3 месяца назад

      i think people also might not know this is common with direct injected engines. the fuel is sprayed inside combustion chamber directly. other cars use port injection, in these cars the fuel usually keeps the carbon from building up around the valves, and depending on the position of the injectors further up into the intake runners as well.
      one of the disadvantages of direct injection.

    These engines are terrible and you should stay away from them, if it's not the carbon build up its head gasket problems, injector problems, turbos failing. STAY AWAY from them.

      Currently going through this . 66 plate 79 k miles . Mechanic has had car 3 times and still not resolved problem . Now saying intake manifold . Another mechanic saying turbo . How much will intake cost to clean .
      I'm hoping a carbon clean will help .

    • @jarrodnaude3004
      @jarrodnaude3004 9 месяцев назад

      @@Machine-rx6wf the intakes do get clogged with carbon, I've seen them to the point where you wouldn't be able to get your finger through the hole, the turbos are easy to check, just take the intake pipe off and check the turbine, if it has movement in it it's stuffed, also on the wastegate the rivot holding it on can come off.
