If the air spring is lined up with the seat on the axle housing, does simply pumping up the air spring insure the spring will clip into the seat? Is there a point where it would be wise to cease inflating the springs and check the alignment before taking up all the weight of the rear of the vehicle?
Hello everyone. I have a question. Lincoln town car 2007. The right side of the car is 2 centimeters lower than the left. I'm looking for the reason and I can't find it. I moved the rear air bellows from the right to the left and nothing changed. I moved the Makpersons from the right to the left front and nothing changed. I checked the Watts rod, it's working. I moved the air bellows valves from the right to the left and still the same. Can any of you help me?
Wish I would of kept the air ride in mine one bag went bad and needed the car for work the next day auto store didn't have the bag. They did have the conversion kit to springs I put the springs in but don't care as much for the ride and when I tow my boat now the back end sags some vs the air ride which adjusted to the extra load.
Do you have any more footage? How exactly do those solenoids attach? Vertical? Horizontal? Also, could you consider editing the video with a still shot on the removed bags? Where are the new ones from? These bags take a ton of abuse in my car. Are there beefy aftermarket ones that have been road proven to last, or should I hunt down Motorcraft? Why didn't you include the compressor replacement? Liked the video, but I couldn't just jack the car up and do the job based solely on this vid. Now please don't take that as an insult. I don't know what you guys are going for, new to the channel. First vid I've watched from you guys.
Hi Car Guys New England, how can I release the air from the air springs to put a new valve selenoids and a new height sensor, because using the on/off bottom that is working fine the valves stay lock and do not open. However I have to prepare the lines new because one broke by the compressor and put them like are used on race cars, same measures. And if you test the ADDCO sway bars on your Lincoln, and CHE PERFORMANCE on the trail arms rear. And please if you can help me or somebody on the front, I've putted the original FORD shocks on the front for 3 times with the original coil spring on the strut,I changed it again but with ACDELCO COIL SPRINGS WITH SPECIFICATIONS and all bla bla and the same thing,in less than 3 months shocks leaking and coils down.Do someone know about a HEAVY DUTY COILS SPRINGS AND HEAVY SHOCKS THAT I MAY DO A GOOD STRUT??? Buy the parts yourself, and you can do this with basic handtools, you don't need to lift the car in the air like they did and in fact unless you want yo replace the leveler that was too high, just a small jack and jack stands will do....cost is around $400 abd about 2 hours of your time with little mechanical experience.......take it to a shop and they will charge you $1000
@@kurtrussell5228 A $1000 bucks for what exactly???? Looks like a simple fix to replace these and they dare charge that much? BTW, i'm not mad at you but during my inspection last year they said i had a small leak in one of the springs. $1000 my ass!
