Hey Sean, great vid as usual! Can I ask about your desks please? Are you still using the DL16? I'm interested in getting the DL16s. I'm between the Ui24r, DL16s and the presonus 16r. What might you recommended? I'm the bassist in the band and sound guy! Thanks in advance Sean!
Firstly the DL1608(From Mackie) is our IEM, I use the M32C(AES to) my DL32 Stage box, personally if you have a small band, I recommend the MR or XR 18, if you want more inputs then I recommend the M32C(with the DL16 stage box) you can always get another DL 16 and make 32 channels!
My personal opinion I’m not too much of a fan of it, we recently moved in with the mixer and stuck with the m32C as main FOH, and Monitors, I didn’t like the physical gain knobs, and the DL felt slow to me, but it is a good digital mixer for simple uses
Yes I did, the problem was from the bass player when he plucked a little too hard and my compression was slow and I watched it clip first. But I know put a limiter on the main out, and I learned a trick to add +5 on the CDl, and run the main out fader at -10 dB, and now I don’t hit it! I will be having a few more gigs and I will do a review on these very soon, and yes you still have to turn the subs up
Of course behind the speakers you lose the speaker sound, and hear the reflections coming back from the walls, when you pass the speaker , then you can hear it around 120 degrees from the center of the speaker
Love my CDL10P's I've used them for about 25 shows since I got them. 😁
What crowd sizes and music type did you use them for?
I run 2 CDL10P per side, on 13 ft stands. Makes a huge difference!
@@XIIMonkeysMusicGroup I recently just bought me some crank stands, that go about 12ft, I’m sure I’m going to get what I’ve been missing.
How's the real life H/V dispersion on those CDL's compared to the manufacturer's posted specs?
I can say pretty accurate, once I cross the box at 180* flat, then the mids and highs disappear
@@seantallica2020 o ok.
Can’t wait to get a pair of the CDL10P
I’m thinking about getting some too.
Can CDL10P stack up with CDL12P? I mean can you hookup a CDL10P over a CDL12P?

How good is the DL series mixer

Did you experience the clipping issue?

I have the 12p….please give some more reviews of the speakers while at your gig…
@@seantallica2020I run my CDL10P's at +4 with my PreSonus Series III mixers.
How does it sound consistent when captured by the camera/phone from both the front and back of the band?
Of course behind the speakers you lose the speaker sound, and hear the reflections coming back from the walls, when you pass the speaker , then you can hear it around 120 degrees from the center of the speaker
power of in-ears, cleaner mixes even with live spaces!
Definitely need some work on both parts but then again I’ve seen some that were worse
