    I’d encourage anyone who doesn’t sleep well to get a sleep test. Turns out I have a structural issue where my airways collapse. A CPAP made a world of difference. It felt like going from 3 hours of real sleep to 7.

    Something I use is a ginger tea. I mix ginger, camomile, honey and lemon juice. Helps me sleep and helps digest while you sleep.

    Good stuff! 👍🏻 A couple other things that help me are linden tea (often mixed with other herbs or teas) and hot epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) baths. The baths also greatly help with RLS.

    Fyi for anyone taking magnesium, it does interact with some antibiotics, so please check with your pharmacist.

    Also, add more magnesium to your diet. Magnesium relaxes the body and helps you sleep better. Magnesium is part of chlorophyll - hence the need to eat your greens. Blend them or juice them. Apply magnesium oil to your body daily.

    Excellent. Thanks. I wonder about a good time to go to sleep and what the sleep duration should be on average? I've heard people say you must sleep early for quality.

    My problem is not gettig to sleep or staying asleep...its waking up too early which cuts the length of hours in sleep that I have. Its like I have an internal clock. I play "noice" on my ALexa...green, brown, pink, etc. I keep a fan on just for the sound as well. I cannot get to sleep when its too quiet. My brain subconsciously seeks out the smallest noise so I have to fall asleep with a constant low level noise. I do not drink very often and I try not to drink too much liquid a few hours before bed. I keep my TV on as I fall asleep but there is a 30 minute timer on and I am always out before the 30 minutes ends. However, I get up before my alarm goes off in the morning.. The only time I get up in the middle of the night is if I need to go to the bathroom. My bedroom may or may not be as cool as it needs to be but when I put the central air down to 68, in the morning its cold and I wake up in the fdetal position trying to keep myself warm - even under the covers and my room is dark as well. I am all out of ideas. I don't want to take medication. Any suggestions? I am not a reader at all. That's why I am watching a video.
    Can I take Magnesium if I am taking a blood pressure medication? And I heard that taking Melatonin on a regular basis may interfere with the natural melatonin. I used to take Ashwaganda every night for this reasona and nothing changed.

      Hey Tami, thanks for writing in and I'm sorry to hear about the sleep issues. Sounds like you have an internal clock that has you ready to wake up no matter what! I'm not sure how early we are talking here but consider going to bed earlier and starting your day earlier if your body says you're ready. Another option is to try breathing techniques to help put your body in the right state of mind. Check out this video for more info: pulse.ly/v7wxlar2p4 Best of luck and thanks for watching!

    Wouldn't 800mg of Magnesium be too much? Thought 400 was the daily dosage with sumps?

    • @Fitfatherproject
      @Fitfatherproject  Год назад

      Hey Doug, thanks for writing in brother and great question! We normally recommend 200-400mg for our members so you are spot on with your question. It really depends how much other Magnesium you are currently getting from your diet as well. Thanks for watching!

    what color light is optsite from blue light?

    • @Fitfatherproject
      @Fitfatherproject  8 месяцев назад

      Hey thanks for writing in and great question! Orange is the opposite color on the spectrum as it's no coincidence that blue light blocking glasses are tinted with orange color. Or the fact that our eyes lock onto the orange sky as the sun sets in an effort to help us wind down for the day/night. Thanks for watching!
