Love that nautical star sticker you put on the table and with the pillows, beach towels for seat covers😘. I cringed when you were barefoot scraping barnacles I was waiting for a scream. Your wife looked happy after it was cleaned up. Fair winds and following seas. ⛵
Wow interior looks great! New subscriber. Love your channel. I have a powerboat and I myself want to learn to sail. Wife doesn’t understand either. So I guess I am in the same boat😂 Well not yet I haven’t found the right one yet.
Great! Having it on a trailer would be nice for maintenance. When I bought this one, I looked a several misrepresented and in bad shape examples. Good luck and maybe one day we can meet on the sailboats!
Yes, bottom paint. It's applied to any boat that sits in the water and is typically combined with monthly cleanings by a diver. Our new sailboat has this and a diver cleans it so it's always clean. knot Enough needed a bottom job.
@@AdventuresInParadise Im probably going to copy that and put it over my table as well. Looks similar, its also white and a folding one. Similar sized. Im rubbish at decorating, always been more of a practical man, but I think for guests I will try to make it look pretty. Throw pillows, curtains, matching colours, maybe something to go over the cushions. Dunno. Need a girlfriend to help, but damn covid lol. Anyways. My boat is also 22ft, but wider beam and its a HUGE difference on the inside. I was shocked when I saw yours. Happy sailing!
I'm from the 70's, that's when I was a teenager anyway. I'm gonna try and save my original interior for posterity. Plus I don't have a wife.... The table sucks and is way heavy, that's gotta go tho. Thanks for the video.
Straight Peroxide is said to be the best. I also used some mildew spray afterwards. I then opened cans of Tea Tree oil - you can find it on amazon. That smelled good.
a marine crustacean with an external shell, which attaches itself permanently to a variety of surfaces. Barnacles feed by filtering particles from the water using their modified feathery legs.

Still chuckling over your wife’s love of your latest acquisition. Thanks for sharing.

I hope my Catalina 22 cleans up as well as yours did.
What a Great job 🎉🎉
Looks great! You guys are doing a great job. The rudder and bottom cleaned will make an incredible difference
I hope so! I read that it might make a 1-2 knot difference.
@@AdventuresInParadise As bad as yours was, I wouldn't be surprised if even more
Nice work!

Nice video. I’m in Palm Harbor looking for a Catalina 22 myself. Nice to see what I’m getting into.👍🏼

Did you find one yet? Make me an offer!
@@AdventuresInParadise Hey now are you really selling after all that work ya'll did?
You used proxide to clean with can you message about that I just got the same thing in about the same shape less a mast the mast got snapped off
How long did it take to renovate the interior?
And if you could aproximately break down (like scrubbing this much time, painting this much time, etc)
you made a good job^^
Well done sir
Is there some kind of paint or application thats prevents or lessen barnacles?

Do you have a link to the sticker or something? Not that I buy a similar one and its like 20mmx20mm
We got it on WISH . We just stuck it on, nothing over it, and it's staying on pretty well.

I can totally understand that. Sort of like having an classic car with it's original interior.

What was the recipe for your peroxide cleaning solution?

what did you use to pain the table ?
I wish I could remember, sorry! I know I sprayed it with a spray can. Probably whatever I had that was white.
Barnacles?
