- Join me in this woodturning adventure as I transform a small off-centre bowl using the Record Power Coronet Regent wood lathe and Easy Wood Tools standard rake cutters. Following the expert recommendations from Hampshire Sheen, I employ Klingspor Abrasives sandpaper, starting from 120 grit up to 400 grit for a smooth finish. Adding depth and character, I apply Earth and Honey colors from Hampshire Sheen's Intrinsic range before sealing the piece with Hampshire Sheen High Gloss Wax.
To ensure a professional result, I share my technique for sanding the bottom of the bowl and applying Yorkshire Grit from Easy Wood Tools. Whether you're a seasoned woodturner or just starting out, this tutorial offers valuable insights and tips for creating stunning off-centre bowls with a flawless finish. Don't miss out on this woodworking journey - hit play and let's get turning!

Great job. I love the dyes inner bowl section. I agree that the honey added some depth to the brown. It shined up well too. Super job.

@agkwoodworks3136 I saw that Ruby said hi to you last night on worldwide woodturners. I sit in, on my cell phone during those meetings. So I don't see all of the people. I only see the people that are highlighted when speaking. The next time you come on say high to everyone and tell Dane you are from the UK. He will call on you early to show something if you want, because of the time factor I know it's late for you guys. I hope to see you there sometime.
Good call on the addition of the honey, really seemed to enhance the overall effect! Top work fella.🏆👍

How did you finish off the bottom?
I put it in the Cole Jaws and turned the tenons away with the number one hollower and repeated the finishing process.
