I loved this video, I am a 60 year young grandma and I unclogged my double sink by following these simple instructions. When I took the pipes apart there was solid grease in them. I previously tried plunging but it never worked. I have been dumping water from a bucket every day when washing dishes. Thank you so much

My clog was also passed both of the downspouts. As you said blocking one drain and plug in the other did the trick without having to unscrew any pipes. Seems like a no-brainer when you think about it. I really appreciate it I've had this issue for a while now. I don't know how anyone in their right mind could give this thumbs down it's really good information.

Seriously, THANK YOU! The first I had tried before even looking for an online solution. It usually does work. But it hadn't, so quick google search and yours was the first video I clicked. So glad I did. I had to take it apart, but having watched how darn easy it was for you, I figured I'd give it a shot and damn, you easily saved me $75+ (it is Easter weekend, so probably a premium rate right now). I was able to do the job, moving very slowly being the first time and wanting to not make a mess everywhere and be back goofing off on the internet in less than 20 minutes (I drained the water really slow and still spilled and needed towels). And now that I'm confident, shoot, probably 5 - 10 mins. Awesome video and very easy to follow instructions!

Tried plunging my clogged sink before watching this video. 30 minutes later, surprise...sink was still clogged.
I watched this video and 'learned' that I need to place a stopper in the other side of the sink when plunging. DUH! Needless to say, in just a couple of minimal force plunges and about 20 seconds of my time, sink was unclogged.
Not only was your video helpful, it saved me from having to pay a stranger way too much money to come into my house and show me his ass-crack. Thanks my man!

if the water flows between the sinks, then the clog is not in the straight section between the sinks. It is usually in the p trap side or further in towards or in the wall on the p trap side. Use a plumbers snake or compressed air or baking soda and vinegar a few times. A tip to help prevent this sort of thing is to use a slotted drain cover on both sides, keep stuff like a chopstick from going into the sink in the first place but allows water to flow. I never have liked garbage disposals they always cause problems, throw garbage food waste in your garbage not disposal.

I watched about 15 videos showing us how to fix a clogged sink that has a garbage disposal in it, well I used a jug of Mistre Plumber I had in my pantry the seal was unbroken so it was new but a few years old... I also used LA’s totally Awesome Drain Opener. Both were said to be ok to use with a garbage disposal and plastic pipes. The directions said to use hot-boiling water after the fluid had gone down in the sink... I also used 1 cup of Dawn blue dish soap in the mix of ingredients to open my double sink......Good News all of this worked!!! And I used the plunger also
I couldn’t say which ingredient did it, but I told you which ones I used so I hope this helps you. One thing, check the label of the drain opener product, some say not to use them if you have a Garbage disposal also plastic pipes in your kitchen
I need to return a box ofDrano KitchenGranules and a generic opened jug, this jug of drain opener that says not to use if you have a garbage disposal.

Instead of turning off the garbage disposal, I left it on and continued to plunge down the flooded side. It took a while, some water came out from the sink while plunging, broke one of my plungers, but eventually, the water was going down little by little until finally, it was completely drained.
