- Hey guys, As part of this journey to live and explore through this illness, I feel like music is a massive part of what can keep me going so we're going to be reacting to alot of different music to try and decide what the best song of all time is. I’ve been an a-ha fan since I was 12, I’m now 50. They released a new album last November. To most die hard fans take on me wouldn’t even be in their top ten a-ha tracks

Thanks for reacting to A-they have been my fave band for almost 40 years now since the take on me days back in 1985. I was 16 then and I’m 53 now and still love and follow A-HA who are still making music even in their 60’s. A-HA are a criminally unappreciated and underrated band with a huge back catalogue of the best music ever created. They hail from Oslo, Norway and consist of three multi talented musicians who write all their own music and play numerous instruments. I hope you’ll continue to react to more of A-HA’s music. Fun fact - while A-HA were living in England and starting to get the band noticed a weather report came on the tv and at then end of the broadcast the guy said no matter the weather the sun always shines on tv. Pal ( pronounced Paul) the bands lead guitarist and main songwriter at the time wrote that quote down and developed the song from there and the rest as they say is history. It was the song that was linked into the end of " Take On Me ". That's why he's turning back into the comic book character and taken back. The end. It can be confusing. I think maybe in " Take On Me ", he says he'll be gone in a day or 2.

What you liked best about this song bodes well for your further journey with the band - they are amazing on instrumental sections and transitions, and you can only look forward to getting to know more of the songs.
