Hey people, I finally got my hands on the NEW DaVinci Resolve 18.5! It comes with amazing new features including the Auto Captions. The one big downside is that it's only in the Studio Version of the program. There is a lot more that we can talk about this tool but I like to keep things short, so press the notification bell to not miss the new videos.

I think Blackmagic is about to release some sort of update for the 18.5 version -> 18.5.1, so that might fix your issue!
