I do not recommond Montserrat Extra-Bold, because it is too difficult to skim at a glance. Sure, the bold weight makes it stand out from the background, but it’s less legible than a standard body text font.

Use fonts that everyone using you’re risking people don’t remember you.
The science for caption is it needs to be readable, so any font with simple shape, easy to recognise is good to go.
