Nothing beats a 3D printer for toolbox organization. No matter the oddity...you make a custom holder/organizer.

Great idea, would be perfect for a four piece hook set and two mini pry bars.
I have 4 mini pry bars but a short, a long and the hook set would be nice and handy at the bench.
Edit to add, i just purchased two of them @11.32 each. My Snap On mini "clear" handle screwdriver set from the 80s, pick set and four mini pry bars. Short straight and bent, long straight and bent and im guessing my Craftsman USA mini screwdrivers from the 90s will have a new home.
I like this idea better than the carousel i have now.
Thanks for another great video and the tip brother.

Nice idea, Doc, but I seriously doubt whether anyone else in the world owns six mini pry bars.

Guilty as charged. What maniac doesn't own several mini pry bars?

I have a pair of the Mayhews, with a pair of the Snap-Ons coming in, whenever they finally get to fulfilling my order of them.
Began to take a more serious look at them once watching a video of them on this channel. I was originally thinking that once I got the Mayhew mini pry bars it would fill the need for that area, and then I would be done, but after realizing that the shafts were a little on the thin side, the Snap-Ons seem like they might offer the slight increase in thickness and strength while still keeping to that small form factor that makes them so handy for getting off harness clips and so on when I'm working on my truck.
But yeah, Doc takes the mini-pry bar thing to the next level lol.

I always found those screwdriver holders (now also 'mini pry bars racks', I guess) - made of a thin board with simple holes - to be rather annoying, as the tools never stand straight. They always lean to one side or the other, with their shaft hitting the ones underneath. See what I mean from 1:24. So I tried making a holder using a thicker board, but drilling long holes into a thick piece of wood is not fun, and makes the holder too heavy for a tool wall. Now I simply hot glue narrow PVC tubes to a thin backer board with a supporting wooden rod underneath. Works like a treat! I add pieces of foam of various thickness into each tube, depending on how long each screwdrivers / pry bar is, so that their tops stands at the same height. I can't see the end of any tool but I know in what order they are arranged, so not a problem. I also made a similar holder for all my writing instruments, e.g. pencils, markers, scriber, marking knife, etc. now all standing in one line inside individual PVC tubing.

Is that a dura pro pocket pro tool there , or did somebody introduce some kind of copy of it ?
I had one of those and wish I had kept it because it was a cool gimmick, but sold it in a yard sale a few years back.

It’s a Dura Pro. I’ll get around to making a video about it one of these days.

@@lastbesttool do you actually like the pocket pro or find it useful?
My dad bought and never used it because he thought it was a cool idea, eventually gave it to me and I kept it with my bike because i thought it was a cool idea too.
I never once used it and eventually decided to just move it in the yard sale I had.

The mini hook pick does not fit through the hole so a minor modification would be needed.
