    When I listen to pieces like this, with an electronic portion just programmed, I always think of how cool it would be to arrange them for the Malletstation since I've gotten to play on one recently and I love it.
    This piece was still fantastic and I love the inspiration behind it.

    That was fun, Mike. I usually dredd listening to marimba and tape pieces, but the contrasts of mood between the marimba and vibes sections was nice, and the electronics were not overbearing...

    Hi Michael, amazing piece I discovered recently from a friend. Would you be able to tell me exactly what mallets you're are using in this video please?

    • @shadowchasers62
      @shadowchasers62  2 года назад +1

      Hi Daniel, thanks for the nice comment about the piece! I used a set of Toni Micelli mallets made by Malletech. (TM16) I also used a set of my mallets MB 13's for the four mallet passages on marimba.

    The bass guitar sound sounds like it must be a Chapman Stick sample instrument.

    but as good as 1080 and 1440 and even 4k videos show on YT, they're still no comparison to the real thing. movie. if you have the original file a DVD would really showcase the mastery . IF NOT, too bad. That's what my whole polemic has been with the bands on the FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE. They never wanted to hear the original thing!! And because they did not I missed some key renditions. However my plans for DVD s and movies have not been derailed, except for a cracked 32GB card which I'm hoping will come back to life someday with enough engineering.
    congratulations on this, it's really superb and fantastic, and I invite you to view my compliations on this (my) YT channel.
