Lyrics
I hear you’re dynamite but what the hell do I know? I’m just repeating what somebody said to me I’ve got my eye on you I don’t know why I do I might be trying to see why they are saying that I’ve had enough of all of the tough love I’d like to get back to the normal that I knew If what you’re saying here is stay away from there Than that’s not something that I’m going to do As we calmly start to panic All the mayhem makes me manic
Don’t tell me that there’s a downside cant you see it’s going worldwide and I don’t believe in anything baby I don’t believe it I don’t believe it don’t tell me what your rules are usually that won’t get you to far and you know you can too can’t believe it what I believe is I don’t believe in anything
I hear you’re dynamite so you’re a deadly weapon I’m trying to figure out how I came up with you You tend to talk down the fucking lockdown Drag out and knock down Who are you talking to? We are slowly going faster Headlong into a disaster
You better best believe it That I believe in lies that skirt the issues while avoiding all the facts Don’t you dare tell me dear There’s nothing to see here Now I lay me down to sleep but I will not relax I’ll lay down but I will not relax

Ditto. Nice to see someone still writes, composes, records and tours, all while playing their own instruments and songs. And no one has more energy on stage than a ska band.
@@eligeorge52 Underground / younger ska scene has never been more active right now. You should check Bad Operation, Catbite, Kill Lincoln, JER, We Are The Union, The Best of The Worst, Joystick, Grey Matter, and Omnigone.
@@BadTimeRecords hell yeah. Saw RBF a few years ago and got introduced to masked intruder and stacked like pancakes. Love finding new ska. Makes my heart happy.
Check out Bad Time Records. Releasing great stuff atm.
The first album I ever got was Let's Face It by the Might Might BossToneS. Glad to see they are still making great music all these years later.
Still going strong after 38 years since forming
T'was a great album. Was the first I had heard from them in my little country WA town
Me too lol. I grew up in a small town in tx and every once in awhile our local wal mart would have something good for being a local wal mart, and of course when I couldn’t make it to Dallas to an actual cool record store.
The world needs more Bosstones!
I am literally moved to tears. new ska makes me so emotional its absurd. i've been surrounded by haters for so long who make fun of me for liking ska and say ska is dead and this past year I have really been able to make them eat their words and its fantastic
I have been in the punk/ska scene for 35yrs, never let the haters decide what you should like or what is cool. Just be you and like what you like, let them be miserable trying to stay trendy and cool. Keep on rockin!
I’ve been at it since 1993, and I actually got to record some of this album!! #SkaLOL #LOLska
Ska introduced me to punk rock sort of. I was going to Ska Weekend in Knoxville in 05-08 and got to see bands like The Slackers, Mustard Plug, Catch 22, The Flatliners, etc. Even once I sort of “outgrew” the genre, I always had a big soft spot and wouldn’t hesitate to listen to a ska band if someone recommended one to me. So glad to see it getting a resurgence lately.
In the control room at work last night I had the mic and inflicted all sorts on my crew.
Disturbed, Rise Against, The Dead South, Ningen ISU, Tool, Louden Wainwright III, Dead Letter Circus, Rancid and Jinger to name a few. Never give a flying fuck about what anyone thinks about your musical tastes!
Love what you love🤘
I totally agree with the others here: Don't care about what others think about your taste in music or you way of life. :-) In the Punk/Hardcore/Ska scene you will always find another kind of familiy! :-)
Good to hear Dicky’s growl back!
Come on, RUclips, you're supposed to alert me within SECONDS when a new MMB hit drops.
Back to the Roots, Stay Rude Bosstones. - Greetings from Chile.
Great song! I love ska. It has a bit of everything I love about music. This song is a lot if fun. It's got lyrics I can relate to too. I'm so skeptical about everything. Question everything, especially things that are supposedly incontrovertable.
Cant believe I'm blessed with new Bosstones. Thank you Tim and thank you Bosstones for 3 decades of great music!
I've been a fan since middle school, I'm now in my mind 30's you guy still fu**ing rock! Thank you for keeping it alive and I'll still continue to roll down the Windows and crank up music!
Dude sameeeeee. Fell in love with the band in grade school, right around the time Let's Face It came out. Now I'm a 35-year-old dad, I've seen them 60+ times, their bulldog logo Otis was my first tattoo, and they still bring me the same joy they did when I was 12.
And I've really liked all the records they've released since ending their hiatus, but this song sounds more like the classic Bosstones I grew up on than anything else they've released in a long time. I'm just so damn excited for this new record.
@@JP-kq4jr right!? I used to jam to that right after listening to Loveline with Dr. Drew. Agree 100% it sounds like the older stuff don't get me wrong I like some of the newer albums but to hear them back towards their original roots. I'm so excited!
My childhood is back 😃
Thanks for all guys... You are the best.
Son lo más... me alegran la vida 🤟🇧🇴.

Great song, looking forward to this album. Damn, I last saw the Bosstones in London in maybe 1997. Dropkick murphys were the support band with the original singer still in the band ha. And here we are, loving this song some 24 years later. Cheers.

Showwwwwww
I'm forever grateful for these guys introducing me to The Interrupters. They opened for them years ago and I've loved their band ever since.
😍🎺🎸
👍
On one hand, great song. On the other, it's about COVID :/
♥️🎵🎶🎸🌴🌊
I just had this odd thought: what if MMB played this song for the royal courts as a headliner after some 18th century composer played; how well would they be received?
I'm just imagining a bunch of prim waltz dancers in a large, floor-tiled room at the base of two symmetrically rounded, semi-carpeted staircases, looking up at MMB at the top playing, the dancers slowly learning a new dance.
I think it'd kick.
Let's Face It 2.0
🔥🔥🔥 So fucking good
QUESTION THE ANSWERS!!!
Kesini gara2 ngobam
👇
Kesini gara2 emang udah follow band ini 10 taun lalu 😂
I'm just here to say that this song is Bikini Bottom Day from Spongebob the Musical with slightly different lyrics.
Still banging tho🖤
I'll take this and however many more songs that speak out against the current shit show. Thanks Tim and Dickey. Nothing makes me more pissed than a punk rock kid all masked up obeying authority.
Very "poppy" and very radio friendly sound..... but still pretty good. I like it. But definitely a song I could hear playing in the speakers while shopping in a Kohls.
I miss River Raves
This is really sad knowing the context of the lyrics now.
First
Its not bad but feels a little forced.
