Today (Jan 26th) would be my friend’s 27th birthday. We lost him on October 6, 2020. He loved ska music so much, and I can’t help but think that this song was written for him. Jake, I hope you’re up there skankin’ to this one buddy I miss you.

I spent half a decade of high school and college drawing caricatures of the Bosstones in my notebooks, and the best one wasn't 5% as good as these cool post-Saul Bass pieces of perfection. Cheers to the animators.

This song legit made me cry, hearing dicky, aimee, and everyone else sing together made me so happy. Now with the breakup of the best ska band ever a lot of the lines really made more sense, "sometimes dancings all we got" because thats so true to me. We love you dicky.

My first ever live show was the Bosstones at the WAG in Worcester... I think around 1991 because I was too young to drive and my friend's mom gave us a ride. The stage was maybe waist-high, and at the end we all got up on stage and started a mosh pit with the band. One of the greatest musical moments of my life. Glad to hear they're back.

I know it's not even been a year yet, but I still remember listening to this song when it came out. I was smiling the whole way, and then I burst into tears of joy. I'll never forget that feeling. Even though I never got a chance to experience all the fun this song talks about, I still felt like I was most definitely there. Thank you so much for changing this Indian kid's life so much.

i wouldnt say ska is dead we still have less than jake and a few more out there, theres even been some new ska bands pop up like SkaTune Network theyre pretty good, lets hope for a great 4th wave
