How cool , that Escort looks great. I'm going to have to get one for sure. The track is amazing, I need more room dam it , still plenty of fun. Great video mate thanks for showing us this.
I really like the look of the car, the detailing is very good and the lights are nice! The problem with new cars is that the build quality on the scalextric is not great in terms of the chassis and they are designed around using the magnet to the point where running them without, means they are virtually impossible to run. One of my cars had a stronger magnet and the other was weaker and the car slower. I balanced the car this week and started adding modelling clay to the front of the car spreading it thin and evenly and I was blown away by the performance increases. I reckon just putting some decent tyres on and truing the wheels and tyres would make a big difference, I would love to see you do a tune up on the car like John did to his and do some lap times before and after. Track looks awesome, I would love to race on it! 👍🙂 🍻

Great track! Love the tights turns. I really need to get some R1 curves. I have like 3 hairpin turns but they narrow together. I think I have mainly R2 curves and some R3.
Hey mate, my favourites are R3 - love them, you can really floor the car around them and it sticks to the track nicely. I'd love R4's but I don't have the space..........or do I, watch this space :-) ....... on another note, I mention you in the next video, you'll have to see what it's in reference too though, I think you'll like it, haha. Quick Q: how did you apply the names to the bends?
Hi Burt, I brought them already printed. If you search for 'Top Gear' on some online marketplaces, you'll find them easy. I have been experimenting myself and you'll see a piece of track with an arrow, I made that. Its stencilling, cut the words/shapes out of card, stick that to the track and then spray primer onto the exposed track, then spray the paint of choice onto that once dried. Hope it helps 👍🏻😎
