NOTE: I did not discuss downsides or complaints for Riverside's service in this video. They respond so quickly to requests for new features and fixes that it would have rendered this video topical. In addition to the upcoming Riverside tutorial video, I will also do a comparison with Zoom and Streamyard where I discuss the pros and cons. That is where I will address downsides.
hi what do you mean 2 hours per month for the basic plan. does it mean that for a whole month i could only record for 2 hours per recording or im only allowed 2 hours for that month.
Do Riverside FM have an App on Google Play or the App Store that you can download on your phone instead? Or do you have to use the browser on you mobile?
I've come across a few of your videos troubleshooting my own audio and video for remote interviews. You're always excellent. Everything you describe I have experienced, and upgrading equipment only goes so far when the interview recording tool isn't optimized from both ends. I've been looking for the right tool that can make me look both professional and relatively effortless. I'm excited to give Riverside a go.
Hi Brian. Thanks for a stellar video. I like the official RIverside videos but somehow yours feel more down to earth - I feel you are really on the user's seat . Question ( unrelated to Riverside): I notice you're using that yellow circle that increases the text of what you have on the screen . I love that! Can you share what you are using to do that?P)
Really interesting. I'd like to see some examples of actual remote video interview recordings made this way. Do you have links to some of your best interview videos made using these techniques pls. ?
So even if the person lives in a very bad location, with terrible internet and wifi, riverside will still get good audio and video and won’t interfere with the recording ? In addition, how can I get good access to good recording audio from my interviewer if they don’t have a good mic to set up?
Thank you for this. I'm starting out on Riverside but I'm stuck on the fact that they don't have input monitoring, meaning I cannot hear myself through my headphones real-time, which is annoying as all hell to me. How can you record a podcast when you can only hear your own voice muffled through headphones and not live through the headphones with everyone else. I raise my voice because I cannot hear myself clearly. This is a huge limitation in my opinion.
You should be monitoring on input, not in software. Software monitoring has a huge latency. Why would you want that? What mic are you using, and what's your signal chain?
Hi there ! Thank you for your great video .. I’m looking for a platform that won’t give me sound issues for voice lessons .. you think this would be a great option ? Thank you in advance !
Hi Brian, love the quality of your audio and video, what hardware do you use in combination with Riverside? I am currently working with Studiolink, but it doesnt offer video plus I had some issues with quality... Thanks for the answer :)
In my experience voices recorded on sm7B need a ton of post. Some fx even basic presets would get me into a premium account for the 3 podcasts I produce.
Hi Brian, hope you’re well. This service sounds brilliant. I have been doing double-ended recordings where I feel confident a guest can deal wit it, but this website looks like a great solution. Take care, Steve.
@audioforcontectcreators hi what do you mean 2 hours per month for the basic plan. does it mean that for a whole month i could only record for 2 hours per recording or im only allowed 2 hours for that month.
Great video. I use riverside along with my mix pre 3 and a shure SM7B, I plug the mix pre straight into my mac book pro. When riverside asks me if I'm using headphones, I say yes. But I can never hear myself, only the person on the other end. 🤔
An awesome video as per usual, Brian! 😆👍👍 As ever, I appreciate you for taking the time to highlight this awesome tool/service for content creation I'll definitely be implementing & utilising this at some point in the foreseeable future. ☺👌🎧🎤 Cheers to you, my man! 🍻 P.S. If and when you have the free time would you mind recording the aforementioned follow-up video entailing a tutorial and showcasing your work flow process? Thank you very much. ☺👌

Awesome Review, let me have a look on the app

hi, did you ever end up recording this episode? unfortunately I cannot find it!
How many participants can you have on the basic plan?
Wow! that is what I was looking for! Definitely will try it
Young entrepreneurs at their best, finding a need and filling it. What a great match of Brian's skills and Riverside's capabilities.
Thanks for the review!

Our company recently made the switch. To put it bluntly I was so fed up with zoom. There had to be another option out there, glad I found Riverside.
I've been watching a number of your videos and they are extremely helpful. Thank you for creating such great content!
How did you upscale video in post? I thought you could only downscale quality
If my phone guest was not using headphones or a mic I think speakerphone would this explain an echo and garbled words in the recording ??

Yeah I think is very easy to monitor with any audio daw, you can also eq, compress and add some reverb of you like
Wow, incredible technology and livestreaming option great! Nice job with this video. Thanks. Mark Rickert

So if someone has really bad internet. Do you still get good quality from riverside later on once recording is done ( video and audio ?

Brian, what's your video setup for this recording? It looks fantastic.
Hi, thanks Sean! Which aspect?
Much better than 2019! Great system.
Great video, Brian! This is a platform I will definitely keep in mind.
Brother, you are inspiring many people on this topic how can I get in touch with you? I really need your help
Do they count the hours, before you start recording as 15 hours? if i am at the pro tier
I don't think so.
Hey Brian, what mic is that that you're using?
Movo VSM-7. Highly recommended.

Does the headphones you refer to have to have a mic? Any recommendations??
He mentioned using earbuds as well. Also make sure guest use them also.
question, you mention each connected guest needs to hit record. is there a prompt from the host to do that? how does that work?
Nope, only you have to hit record.
He Brian, hope you’re well. This service looks good. Steve.
This video was awesome, thanks
