    So many negative people typing ridiculous comments here.... Don't hate it just because you think you know better or simply because you are a lazy computer nerd thinking you can undermine the system in seconds but really you just wish you had thought of it first!
    This device works. It's tiny, meaning if it is installed correctly, would take a thief days to find and remove, time a thief doesn't have. And to be honest, if used with the multi-authorisation algorithm setting, it is by far the best immobilising device money can buy! It is not a glorified kill switch, it is fantastic protection.
    To keep it simple, if this video attracts negative comments, it is obvious that the comment came from a person who could not afford a car worth needing to use this device on.

    In the video, it is mentioned that only four wire connections are needed - power, ground, CAN HI, and CAN LOW. The installation manual shows the connections to the LIN BUS system. Is the connection to the LIN BUS system needed, if you can connect to the CAN ??? I know where and how to access the CAN system in my vehicles. I'm not sure where to find or determine which LIN wires to use.....

    If it's Russian, they likely built in a backdoor code.

      You think his travel expenses are reimbursed? by whom?

    Guyz i have installed the igla on a Renault Duster2019 but this anti-hijack kicks in only when the door has been open for 3minutes not three seconds has it been install in correctly i have been hijacked before and this three second thing is the main reason why i installed it the installer battel to make igla agree with my car.system works fine but anti hijack only kicks in when door is open for 3minutes not 3seconds. please help maybe my igla is factory faulty.

  • @dmonk926

    The original igla vid says the anti hijack works when the door is open for 3 seconds and suddenly driven off then it will shut down. Sounds a bit daft. Can u say whether the more sensible thing, the car simply being driven out of the range of the fob resulting in the engine being stopped works instead

    • @OxaudioPhilly
      @OxaudioPhilly 2 года назад +5

      It asks for a pin code after 300 meters of driving off once the door has been running, if you don’t put it in it will shut off

    Is IGLA can against the CAN Injection attack? The thefts pull apart the front bumper and pull apart the headlight and unplug the cables. The thefts accessed the CAN bus via the headlight cable and introduce bogus messages as if it were from the car's smart key receiver. These messages effectively cause the security system to unlock the vehicle and disable the engine immobilizer, allowing it to be stolen.
    Since your IGLA Anti-Theft System is connected to the CAN bus, Is it possible that thieves could potentially access the CAN bus and bypass IGLA Can-Bus Immobilizer?

      Hey man, I’m going to assume you are talking about the unfortunate cases with the Lexus/Toyota vehicles. I can confirm as an owner of a RX that it blocks can injection attacks. I had my car stolen then recovered then did a bunch of research and had IGLA installed. Luckily thieves tried 2 more times via the headlight and were not able to enter the vehicle as IGLA blocks those signals. Depends on where you get it installed and firmware as well - I have a friend who had IGLA yet thieves entered his RX but were not able to drive away. He got it installed from another shop. Ask your technician or authorized installers this question! Either way IGLA is the way to go - it should be industry standard - we protect our laptops, phones, and other equipment with passcodes why not our vehicle. Especially in Canada where almost everyday someone’s car is being stolen - I know atleast 4 coworkers and few of my close friends who had their car stolen! I’m just glad a product like IGLA exists - I don’t understand all the hate just cause it’s Russian? Who cares if it’s a reliable and good product!

      This method of theft is well known. The thief will not be able to bypass IGLA's blocking. Even if he gets connected to the CAN bus (via a headlight or bumper), IGLA will still be blocking the engine. However, that's on condition that IGLA is installed by a reliable professional."

    Question. If the hijacker takes the vehicle and forces you to go with them what then? This is common in South Africa by the way. Do you just pray that they leave you there?

    • @AUTHORALARM
      @AUTHORALARM  3 года назад +4

      I think for this case you can install additional tracker -“COMPASS”. Which can notify up to 5 persons when anti-hijack was triggered.

    does the installer have to do any special wiring for the anti-highjack to work? Besides enabling it in settings.

    • @AUTHORALARM
      @AUTHORALARM  3 года назад +1

      The installer don’t have to do special wiring for anti-hijack. Just activate feature number 16.

    Can the IGLA device be bypassed by plugging it anywhere in the CAN harness or into the OBD socket and just drown them out, and even turn it off with another electronic device (interfeace) that will unlock the car engine controller? Is the device not made in Russian, so it was specially introduced to the market so that a specific group of people could have access to methods of breaking the device's security by OBD or CAN?

    • @AUTHORALARM
      @AUTHORALARM  5 лет назад +1

      IGLA can't be bypassed using other electronic devices. It's possible to start the car only if you find and remove IGLA physically.
