    Forgot to add the intro to this, but basically people take disagreements too personally, and that leads to toxic attitudes and often times immature behavior and words because when people feel offended, they typically respond with anger instead of reason.
    Also, when you don't think these things that personally, you don't get offended easily. I sure don't.

      @@ArdnassakChreesmas probably, "taking it personally" feels as if they imagine in their mind what would be if they were the victims and those ideas enforced on them, so they immediately try to come up with argument to stop that from happening and prevent people from doing that. seems that people are not afraid of freedom of expression, but they have flashbacks of past situations when those things were imposed on them and they are afraid if more people will start doing that they will be constrained socially and coerced eventually to accept that too, so they protest and resort to personal attacks even if that issue did not affect them directly, but they are still afraid it might influence their lives in the future if those things gradually would become accepted as a cultural standard and they would appear as unusual in that case

    My conservative friend told me when he walked home from school many houses had flowers except some poor people. I thought he might say "i wanted to give Everyone flowers" but he said his conclusion was "we should get rid of poor people "

    • @ArdnassakChreesmas
      @ArdnassakChreesmas  4 месяца назад +1

      Not all conservatives are like that, though. I don't think the fact that he was conservative had much to do with his carelessness. There are bad and good conservatives. Try to think of it this way:
      So, at the core of everyone's thoughts and opinions, are these things:
      1. They're values. If the person is good, they will have good values, such as love and kindness (which leads to charity and respect for others).
      2. They're past experiences. This could shape their views on the world in both positive and negative ways. Like for example, my family has conservative views because my family came from Cuba to the US to escape communism, which had hurt a lot of people, and they don't want this country to end up the same way Cuba did. (Which is why I don't trust the government, the government cannot be trusted with socialism because they get greedy and hurt people).
      3. Things they've been taught, things they've learned. They could be taught things by their family and stick to it, or they could have studied a lot and reached a conclusion.
      So, these are at the core of people's political opinions. Now, regarding that person you mentioned, obviously he didn't have the value of kindness, and his conservative views were an expression of his more selfish and judgmental heart. But conservative views can also be an expression of a kind heart.
      My grandma and mother are both charitable people, and a lot of conservatives are Christians. Now, I do think that sometimes being conservative and Christian aren't exactly compatible, but if someone follows the teachings of Jesus correctly, they will have good values.
      So there are good, conservative people who genuinely care about others, and have conservative opinions that they think will help others, AND there also bad conservative people will use those conservative opinions in harmful ways, from a bad heart. Liberals do this, too.
      Being conservative is NOT what makes someone a bad person, and so it's not right to label them as bad people, or part of bad groups (like nazis) because a lot of them do not support bad people. But are there bad conservatives? Of course! But don't judge someone as a person SOLELY based on their political stance.
      Now, that doesn't mean they are necessarily right about things, they could be wrong. But that is not always reflective of who they are as a person.

      Interesting point. I am a believer in "innocent until proven guilty", but there are things you can watch out for to find out if someone is bad or not without suffering because of them.
      Like looking at their behaviors, character, attitudes, words (like they say mean, hurtful, false things) and actions. And sometimes people can have bad opinions that truly stem from a bad place, and are bad, like if someone had the opinion that it was okay to kill someone, or that enslaving someone is okay.

    • @jamieSp69
      @jamieSp69 4 месяца назад

      Was the enslaving people remark an attack against the Bible? Maybe you should just let your mom know that you don't like her religion if you are it's enemy. No offense.

      @@jamieSp69 My mom and I have talked a little about this, she's not mad at me, she is very smart and she herself has sought a deeper understanding of things.
      I am not against people, nor am I trying to disrespect them. I am only a critic of beliefs, ideas, and opinions, not the person who has them. Even if I have varying beliefs from others, especially family, it doesn't mean I love them or care about them any less. People's heart, intentions, values and character are what matter to me most, and I will not think less of someone for their beliefs. I am no one's enemy unless they are a truly evil person.

    deeds more important than words. possessiveness is a devilish trait and such people tend to overtake and impose. coercion is not good. free will. many times abusers chose to commit offenses against disadvantaged victims that had no means for defense. discernment is important. we will die at some moment, what will be after? fighting to hurt others and impose something will cause permanent suffering, the physical and spiritual consequences are irreversible and cannot be undone, completely worthless and is it wasting people and their lives. think more and rather do less, if not helping at least not hurting people or wasting them for no reason. avoid unnecessary damage. most conflicts among people were worthless and they do not understand the real severity of their actions until the moment of death comes and they will regret anyone they hurt in the past. impossible to stop evil with evil, only escalates problems. many times it is not worth wasting and investing yourself to explain. common sense exists and people can distinguish, why some people did not need laws written on paper to consciously feel that something is immoral and hurts people and why others even if you show formulate and articulate in the most eloquent and intelligent form possible with all arguments you could ask for they still chose to be ignorant and cruel? honesty and innocence are not defined by age. innocent children are holier than all humans, but as people get older and learn bad things they hurt people. innocent people have the most profound feeling and understanding, they are the wisest people, their mind is clear undistracted and undisturbed by anything bad, pure spiritually and that is reflected in all aspects of their lives.
    a person who leans towards viciousness disregards any evidence of damage and harm they caused. a good person would feel uncomfortable to even think about doing something bad against others. different values, different moral standards

    Being an "empath", it's easy to feel where the other person is coming from, and my response depends largely on what kind of person the other is. If the other is of the negative variety, I'm more than happy to be sarcastic (they usually don't catch on, anyway). Some people don't really care if you have an opinion, they just want you to hear and fall in line with theirs ("theirs's" was actually suggested as a spelling correction😄!).
    Speaking of disagreements, have you ever wondered what it is adult moths do? One has been on my ceiling, frozen, since this morning. Apparently, the adults don't eat at all🤔. Considering coming back as one that at least licks chocolate.
    Oh, the reason I suggested the Terrence Howard interview in another comment, is that he talks about the female aspect of God at some point. It's a long interview, so I'll try and find where that part is.

      Cool! Also, yeah sarcasm is always fun, but I try not to do that unless the person is being *especially* mean, 'cause I don't always want to fuel the fire, ya' know?
      And yeah, some just want you to have the same opinion as them and don't care about you thoughts on it lol.
      About moths, I don't know too much about them, but they are very cute and I love holding them sometimes. They're so cute! And the big ones are very beautiful, they have fuzzy wings it's cute!!!
