thank you! there are some really cool color variants out there, just can never bring myself to spend the $ on them when I love even the basic ones so much. Maybe someday!
they were so shiny! I spent almost 30 min adjusting the lighting for filming and eventually just went on with it because I couldn't get them to stop being so reflective.
My holiday cacti are late blooming this year, they just started budding a couple of weeks ago. Although my 'Samba Brazil' didn't produce and buds at all. Paid a fortune for it because the blooms are so amazing but it is just not a vigorous grower. I'm going to start giving it seaweed extract next year and see if doesn't improve the vigor. (I'm also going to take a cut of my huge pink one in the spring and try attaching it to the live oak)
That will look amazing having one growing on your oak! Great idea! I have seen pictures of the 'Samba Brazil' and it is a beauty! Mine have always responded very well to fish fertilizers and seaweed fertilizers.
I love your videos!!! Hope your doing well too! Thank you for all your helpful tips and cheerfulness...you really have saved the lives of many of my plants...they thank you as well.. LOLOL 🤣. This is my favorite succulent and it was my very first one...I blame it for my now jungle...it's forgiven because it always rewards me with the most beautiful blooms..mine is a sort of red..but with a iridescent vibe of orange and hot pink...and the sweetest white stigma shooting out of the center...I can't even do it justice on camera..the colors don't show as well which makes me sad because everyone needs to see this beauty. So glad you did a part two because I just received the peachy one you now have...mine is a bit smaller..but I'm going to get it as huge as my red one..so your hints are much needed. Please keep us posted on how it does. Thanks again!!
Thanks for sharing your georgus cacti. I have a huge one in the same pot for about 10 year's. I want to change the soil but I'm afraid to take it out due to breaking any of the leaves. It blooms perfectly and fully. What would you do?🌻
Great informative video! I lost all of mine during our move to the new house while trying to figure out the placement for them outside? Watching this makes me want to try again. We were at HD yesterday, and they were selling small pots for $4.98. :S Thanks for sharing!
So confusing.. so I have all three types- thanksgiving Christmas and Easter... We have non- plant friends so I call them all Christmas cactus. If I were to say that this is this that is that they think I’m showing off😉
Have you heard of this technique where you trim the cactus back in order to get it to bloom? This seems counter intuitive because it damages the leaves right where they’re supposed to be creating a bloom. I tried this today on two of my plants but I’m not going to on the other three - what do you think?
Omg so beautiful amazing flowers 👏👏👏👌👌👌👌👌👌
This video is wonderful and awesome.
Both are lovely.

Those pink blooms are so bright! I need shades! great video

Hi Jeff! Thanks again!
Good video! Thanks for sharing your info on these types of cactus.
no problem, Pat! Do you have any?
@@TropicalPlantParty Yes, I do have one. My husband gave me one last year. I think it makes a nice passalong plant.
Thanks for the info God bless you
This is my fav cactus; very easy to root cuttings. No humidity requirements, able to take any lighting.
Great video, very informative. I always enjoy your video and plant babies 😀💜💜💜
thank you, Donnalnita!

Can you add fresh soil from the top and around the plant? You will need a long stick to move the fresh soil.
