To all the ladies in the comments, years ago I followed a strictly French way of eating, after reading a book called "French women don't get fat". I literally lost weight, without it being my specific goal. I wanted to cut down on sweets and unnecessary snacking. I remember how fancy I felt eating my small piece of a high quality dark chocolate after lunch, or how I indulged into a homemade fruit compote. It took a bit of an effort but it was so worth it. No other "diet" ever brought so much result. It was wonderful! My kids enjoyed my cooking, too. Your way of eating is no nonsense, real food , it makes sense and it's rich in nutrients and your taste buds are satisfied. Thank you for another wonderful video..
Hello yes that's exactly it. It's a lifestyle that focuses on health, taking your time and appreciating good things. It's not a diet per se but more a way of eating and it does indeed also make you lose weight because you no longer eat processed food and you take care of yourself and your health. Thanks 🙏
I know there may be cultural and personal differences, but that's what pretty much most Western Europeans eat like. Some bread, some dairy, some sausages. One warm meal a day, like a stew or soup, or roasted/fried meat. With random veggies and leafy greens in between. By the way, it's not the healthiest choice of products, it's mostly just tradition.
@@allesindwillkommen As someone who is European I have seen the trend of fast food growing rapidly even in Mediterranean countries where I live. I have lived in Greece for 16 years and the percentage of obese people is alarming. Supermarkets are filled with sugary foods, salty snacks which have increasingly replaced real food in people's diet, not to mention the expansion of fast food restaurants and americanized way of eating and life. Soft, sugary drinks are a must during every meal, chips or crisps are given to kids as a snack, boxed juices have replaced fruit. Trust me, the Mediterranean diet is heavily being replaced by the westernized diet. I have also been seduced by the plethora of choices in the supermarkets, not to mention Greek pastries, doughty pies brimming with cheese and oil. 🤣🤦In my case, eating protein and vegetables with a tiny amount of diary is most effective and eating only three meals a day without snacking.
This is a shame.I live in Israel where every meal( even breakfast) is accompanied by a cucumber- tomato- oignon- cubed with olive oil and a splash of lemon.Fresh and healthy. And a lot of fresh vegetables.❤
There is something so calming about your videos. I always look forward to what you will share next. I hope one day you will share about other aspects of your life like your home decor or fashion sense or books and movies you enjoy. Hope you are having a wonderful day.
Extremely clean and nutritious food!!! I’ve been eating this way and have been loosing weight. It’s a lot of food but very balanced. You don’t crave because your blood sugar isn’t spiking!! 👍👍Love your content!!! Thank you!
I absolutely love your channel. Eating exactly this way I lost weight right away.. I was overweight so doctors orders. Clean simple food, minimal ingredients on anything packaged, small breakfast and lunch and normal size portion dinner. No snacking. I am still overweight so I still have to do 16:8 intermittent fasting but this is how I eat now in an 8 hour window.. my doctors orders just for me. This is a great channel and now I count on it to keep my eating clean and happy. 😊
Wonderfully done. I think you walked by the fire house on rue Cardinal Lemoine? I stayed in an apartment in 2020 at 59 rue Cardinal Lemoine and remember the fireman training there. One of my favorite squares is Place de Vosges. I enjoy its peacefulness and the cafes and shops surrounding it. You are quite the inspiration. Today I had 11/2 roasted chicken thighs cooked on cubes of potatoes, courgettes and button mushrooms served on a bit of lettuce and cherry tomatoes with half a slice of my homemade bread and a square of Lindt chocolate for dessert. I have plenty leftover for dinner tomorrow. Thank you and have a wonderful night. Joe and Gigi.
Tout est si bon et beau ! Et comme toujours, des recettes savoureuses. J'aime aussi que vous montriez comment vous les préparez et la taille des portions. Merci beaucoup🙂
It's nice that your prosciutto is just pure meat and salt "without nasty ingredients", but it's worth noting that it has 6.2 g of salt per 100 g as seen on the label. So just a mere 100 g of this prosciutto is already around a teaspoon of salt and almost exceeds the daily recommended salt intake for an adult. It's usually not a problem for healthy people, but can be a big concern for some others.
Hello. Sodium is essential for us and plays a key role in maintaining the water balance between the inside and outside of cells. This is essential for nerve transmissions and muscle contractions. That being said, indeed some people do need to be careful. But a healthy person doesn't have to worry about eating ham every now and then. Furthermore, when you eat a diet rich in potassium it balances, since the two work together. We can't be afraid of everything all the time, sometimes we have to find a balance between eating healthy and convenience. Have a nice day.
@@easyfrenchdiet I'm from Germany. We eat a lot of processed meat and sausages too. Just wanted to point out that this types of cured meat is not necessarily the best for your health. It's just what we enjoy no matter what. 😀

It’s compote the pomme , I remenber eating these as a child in France, but never for breakfast.
I just came here to say the same thing 😂

My favorite ham is Black Forest ham...
Ah yes, me too I like black forest ham, it is very good!
@@easyfrenchdiet I also like Virginia ham, but I suspect that is just an American product...
Hello. Yes I don't know this ham.
A lot of eggs day in day out, think I might get bored with them very quickly .
