When you say “Can you find 3 other books on page 1 that are selling well” do you include books by “real” authors that have a following outside of Amazon? If so, wouldn’t their BSR’s be skewed by their following?...so not really a true reflection of how good the niche is for our independently published book? Wouldn't it be better to compare independent publishers like us with other independently published books like ours on page 1 to get a better idea of how good the niche is and how likely it is that our book would succeed in that niche?
Hi. When you talk about the ideal number of competitors (up to 3,000), do you mean the "all" department or the "books" department? Because the same keyword can have 1,000 results in the "all" and 50,000 in the "books".
Kindle Store. In the video, at 11:40, at the top, you can see that the category selected is Kindle Store. If someone types in Dog Training on Amazon, things like dog training collars and so on come up, so they will very quickly select a book-related department, if they are looking for a book.
I have a Question ? If we find a keyword results less that 2000 and also reviews of competitors are also low but the BSR is not so good like 7 to 8 lack so can we use that keyword ? Also how much is the good BSR to go with that keywords ?
