In a previous video you talked about how you don't brush your teeth with toothpaste because the brushing is what does the cleaning, could you talk more about that? Not using toothpaste seems like the last thing someone would reccomend.

I’m glad you post on RUclips. Could you do a video on (I don’t know if it’s still trending) if a person should not use fluoride toothpaste or what active ingredient in toothpaste a person should use while brushing. Thank you and keep up the amazing work!

Most dentists will say yes because this is what they are taught and have been taught without any regard to toxicity other than learning it could be toxic if the levels are too high. There is no education how our fluoride is even made or where it comes from. It takes older, more experienced dentists that have continued their education to know the effects of fluoride. Fluoride does help remineralization of teeth, to a degree, which is why they use it in deep cavities now too to help remineralize the cavity so it doesn't progress into needing a root canal. But there are dentists who are on board with those who want to avoid it. And fortunately amalgam Fillings are also less frequently used as we know they leech into the body.
I tried switching to fluoride free toothpaste for 18months. This is what I noticed. My teeth did not feel as clean and I felt like I had to brush them more frequently compared to using fluoridated toothpaste. I also did develop cavities during that time and my cavity worsened on a tooth that had already previously been repaired but the filling fell out. I let it go without fixing promptly as I should have and it happened to be a tooth that normally has 3 roots but for some reason mine only had 2 roots. The dentist suggested I pull it rather than do an unstable root canal on a tooth that is designed to have 3 roots for support and that "best case scenario it looks perfect on the xray it's still at risk to break. Plus you'd have to see a specialist with the microscope which costs even more." I listened, even though I should've had a second opinion, and I'm waiting to hit 6months for the bone graft to heal so I can get the implant. I don't know if this all would've happened if I stuck to fluoride but I doubt it. But moral 1, beware of dentists who convince you things have to be done a certain way, especially when they want to rip you off just for the x-rays alone.
Moral of the story #2 and to your question is to try it yourself and see how your teeth feel. Consider also that fluoride in products is relatively new and didn't exist until the 20th century.. Our diet is what has led to the rise in cavities, especially with the advent of factory farming and using grains and corn in all our food which despite what is told to us causes depletion of minerals in the body. If you do switch, one thing to make the tooth paste more effective is to look up something called Thieves Oil which you can make yourself or purchase as a pre-made oil and put into your toothpaste OR you can buy a fluoride free toothpaste with it inside.

JUST BRUSH THEM NOW. dont think about it. You also need to realize that your mouth will look horrible if you continue to not do this. If your "going to bed" habit is lying down saying I will brush them before falling asleep, then falling asleep... brush them before lying down. It won't hurt to randomly brush them through the day either...
