Actually our culture was 400 years ahead of us thousands of years before ..... It was the foreign exploitation and the historical events that lead to today's status ...we actually never try to learn our culture thinking it's religious as it is Hinduism ....but it's a culture developed on the Indus valley ... We need to teach the gud part of our culture rather than just following the made up traditions of India which was made by the nobles for their benefits ☮️

1 thing I would like to write here,
When you're talking about hygiene in India, 70 to 80% Indians who have pets(cats/dogs) do not allow them to sit on the sofa or bed. We don't allow them to enter the kitchen. It's not like we don't love them, but we don't want their hair all over our sofa and bed and food.
I want this thing to remain in India, but unfortunately people want to become foreigners here.

In India, people will start cooking after taking bath, (Not many in cities due to work pressure and blindly following western, but it is still followed in villages). Traditionally Indians don't store the cooked food and carry it over next day, end of the day the remaining food will be given to homeless people or feed to street dogs or cow. In my village the whole bunch of (Around 10) dogs are our pets, we are not growing in our home, but they love us and safeguard us because we used to given them food once in a while 😜. Go and ask villagers, they will tell many stories like Hachiko's Dog story. Drinking boiled fresh milk also unique in India, every morning milkman will come with fresh milk (taken just an hour before from the cow) and we will boil it first then drink it. Now cities got pocket milks which I hate. I feel the taste of water only in India, most of the countries and big cities in India drink RO water, but many places in India, people drink river water directly without processing. I grew up drinking Thamirabarani river water (Thamiram means copper in Tamil), Thamirabarani water tastes little sour due to copper. Siruvani in coimbatore area tastes sweet. Kaveri and Ganga water taste both sweet n sour. In cities water tastes blunt 🤦‍♀️. Indian food designed to have six tastes (Arusuvai unavu), Sweet, Sour, Salty, Pungent (spicy), Bitter, Astringent, one should get all tastes everyday in order to avoid diseases. Like this there are many habits which are not followed in India itself nowadays due to so called westernization. There is a saying in TN Unave marunthu, (Food is the medicine), now medicines became food 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

In my family in India, we traditionally use separate sets of utensils for cooking rice or any starches, and another separate set for anything that’s non-starch. Great care is taken to avoid contamination between the two sets. In fact upon touching a vessel that contained cooked rice, we must wash our hands before touching a vessel containing some non-starch like a vegetable fry or yoghurt. I used to think it was silly tradition until I discovered that foods containing starches have 10-100x more bacterial growth after the same time duration, when compared to non-starch foods.

Also, would like to if Michelle is vegan by choice or cause she’s lactose intolerant?
And if she’s lactose intolerant then making her try local cow/buffalo milk and dairy products (not packaged but fresh) to check if she has the same reaction.

Just before you switch like unfortunately how people in India copy everything Western only to know later of its problems - leather industries, plastics, pesticides, insecticides, glass, please check out the things it cannot do what the sun can - the sun charges your clothes with positive energy which is more than just heat of a dryer, dryers mean more electronic waste (keep in mind it costs more to recycle electronics in the West than they actually are worth and most often they dump them in poor countries which India does not have as an option), more electricity usage vs using direct sun, and kills bacteria which again heat cannot.

I agree with all of these except for the drinking without lips part. It is said that drinking water without sipping it can lead to problems, since the water directly goes to the stomach without touching the lips or the tongue. But great video!

Eating with hands is best habit.
Because it charges the food particles for better taste and digestion. Nerve cell are present on our finger tips which send signals to our brain and further to our digestive system. It also helps us to connect with our food. Make sure to wash before and after having food

1)Before eating food people use to say the prayer "sahana bavatu sahanv bunattu,.. " 2) will apply shikai powder in place of shampoo 3) we apply hair oil (coco nut oil) atleast once in week) 4) we lot of care was taken by ancestors for new born babies 6) our parents never allowed to use calculator s for simple airthemetic calculation, so that naturally our brain capabilities will improve, and this gen parents avoids giving mobile phones to their kids and we use safety cover/pouch to safeguard mobile 7) we never sleep heading towards north 8) we chant Slokas while worship 9) we prefer to construct house facing east 10)we prefer cotton dress 11)we use to prefer to use banana leaf as plate to eat food 12) our grand parents never purchased water for money 13)we wash our clothes ourselves 14) we treat books as God

After taking off our footwear before entering our home, we in most cases go directly to the bathroom to wash our hands and feet and when we come out of it we are supposed to wear the sandles for home. The sandals for outdoor and indoor are different.
And by God, if by the wish of God, you wear the indoor one outdoor, our moms show us exactly why Lord Shiva let Mother Kali dance on her chest. Many of you can attest to this नालायक, गधे, आंखे दान कर दीं क्या? दिखाई नहीं दिया कौन सी चप्पल पहन कर जा रहे हो।

Ofc you would was it, then what's the problem in keeping your butt clean by using water. It is scientifically healthier and apply common sense, cleaning anything with water is better than cleaning with a paper. Thank you brother, you are a smart perso. Best of luck❤
