Tips for Foreigners to be able to adapt Indian diet in the early days (from a doctor):
    1. Get Pan 40 x 15 days
    2. Get MVBC (Becosules) x 10 days
    3. Get Enterogermina and probiotic pills x 5 days
    4. For days when you feel dehydrated keep ORS powder (One Litre Formulations) ready (max 1L/day)
You'll find all these formulations in a medical store near you.
To your diet add 100-200gms of curd or yoghurt everyday and 200-300 ml of Chaas/Buttermilk everyday if you're not lactose intolerant.

Great videos, Ben. You summarize the essense of what makes life in India good - adapt, experience and enjoy all that India offers. I live like an American in America, and live like an Indian in India. It is difficult to compartmentalize like that but I feel that is the best way to enjoy both countries. The trouble starts when one brings a Western framework to "evaluate" life in India. Many who do this perpetuate negative stereotypes about India. Similarly, I have also seen some armchair critics in India (usually from the affluent class) evaluate life in U.S. using Indian benchmarks and values - which is again not fair. Understanding what makes both countries great in their own way starts with an honest self-reflection and a nonjudgmental study of each country's civilizational history.

Bihari languages shouldn't be considered as dialects of hindi. Languages like Maithili, bhojpuri, magahi, ambika originated from the eastern branch of prakrit i.e. magadhi prakrit, whereas pahari languages, bundeli, bagheli, khariboli (later adopted as standard hindi), haryanvi and awadhi derived from central branch i.e. Shauraseni prakrit.
