- An edit I decided to make for fun with a wholesome operator making announcements on the new 7000 series cars on the Red Line this week. Catch the train on the Red Line while you can as this is the last week of the 7000 on the Red Line!
Stay tuned for more.

That operator is quite the entertaining character. I hear him a couple of times when riding the Red Line. He definitely loves his job. Good on CTA for allowing him to operate the new railcars!
I heard him like 4 days ago
I heard this operator before he’s funny and great vid btw the 7000 Series are my favs the 2200 were my favs before they retired but these are my new ones
I haven’t heard him in so long
Love this guy!
What an announcer!
I can't wait ride inside these 😀🚇🔵
He's funny
I remember this guy...
One day it'll say "This is 130th Street. As far as this train goes. All passengers must leave the train. Thank you for riding the CTA Red Line."
"This is a Red Line train to downtown and 130th."
great catch
As of now all new Boston MBTA new subway cars built by CRRC have been grounded due to problems with the trucks on them has CTA have any problems yet with the new # 7000 series yet ?
As of yet, no. Our 7000s mostly have parts from different companies specified by CTA in the order, which includes the truck assemblies, motors, inverters, and cab signaling systems being supplied by Siemens. Apart from a few software bugs the 7000s have been doing very well.
I will let you know what the problem was on these cars it was 6 car train crossing from north to the southbound track when the middle of the train derail it was moving at 6 mph ..
Yeah hopefully MBTA gets those cars back in service soon. I was in Boston 2 weeks ago and saw the cars at Wellington yard over the pedestrian bridge. MBTA has a very unique system, I must say.
The CTA By 7000 séries China CRRC
You should apply for a job on the CTA
How could the 7000 series be smoother than the bombardier 5000 series When they both run on the same tracks
Why they do run on the same rails, the new trains have an improved suspension system which would provide you with a smoother ride.
Probably the safest place to be in Chicago lol.
