oh yeah in the games tournaments gouging fire is stronger because its in Ubers than entei and it both fire/dragon typing which is better in my view

Entei: What is this human yapping about?
A genuinely really good and interesting twist from Pokemon Horizons! In hindsight, the Entei not being a part of the Six Heroes made a lot of sense considering that this Entei's size is nowhere near as large as Lucius' other Pokemon who became giant, and we know that Legendaries aren't excluded from this effect because of Rayquaza and Moltres. This is probably what the official Japanese Pokemon anime Twitter account meant by "pay attention to Entei's behavior".
Now I like to imagine throughout this whole encounter Entei was thinking something like "Lucius??? Terapagos??? Rakua??? I'm just here to meet up with Raikou and Suicune to celebrate the birth of the new island! Who are you people?!"
And with the preview, I initially thought that Entei could've turned into Gouging Fire... But it's also VERY likely that Lucius ALWAYS had a Gouging Fire, but because in-universe, people back then including Lucius himself wouldn't have known that Gouging Fire wasn't Entei. And because Lucius assumed it was Entei, he documented it as such in his diary, which then leads to the wrong assumption from the Rising Volt Tacklers since that's their ONLY lead of what are Lucius' other Pokemon as not much about Lucius was EVER documented besides his diary and Diana learning from people who have lived long enough and still knew about Lucius, Rystal and Gibeon.
And while we do see Entei in the flashback, the reason we see it as Entei is because we're seeing the flashback from the interpretation of the main cast. Do remember that in that scene Rystal was explaining the events and they have no visual cues.
And also it was somewhat hinted in an earlier episode that Entei could've always been Gouging Fire because in one of the scenes where Lucius first meets his Pokemon, the location Lucius found and battled Entei somewhat resembled Area Zero.
(Also fun fact, while we did see Entei, Raikou and Suicune individually in the anime before, this is the FIRST ever time we actally saw them together at the same place at the same time in the main series anime, not counting their appearance in the Zoroark movie.)
And even if this was once a regular Entei, Area Zero could have transformed it into Gouging Fire, and it all works. They made a lot of people think that Area Zero is not going to be relevant by making one of it's most important characters a background cameo, Arven.
Now that they enter Area Zero, what will they encounter? The Paradox Professors, more Paradox Pokémon? Arven? Carmine? a vision of the Future? Shiny Rayquaza? The possibilities are endless!!!
Well, well, well. Looks like the writers have done a very great job fooling us to think that Lucius's Entei is a normal Entei when our heroes actually encountered the wrong one. Who knew?

Idk why but maybe Entei is literally the final Pokémon they are supposed to face and Lucius no.1 partner (not Shiny Rayquaza) … i mean after all Rystel accounts of things obviously weren’t clear… so…

Don’t any of the Pokemon Ash encounter have that intense presence when Pressure is activated?
My guess is Entei did used to be a regular Entei but its been no doubt stuck in area zero for 100 years odds are it was changed into gouging fire due to exposure to the elements within the area.
It could have been experimented on too by the scientists who were there since we know Turo or Sada's stuff did happen in the timeline just way before Liko and Roy set out so who can really say until the episode drops.

I don't think the game is canon to HZ, remember that Briar never revealed how to get Pagogo's Stellar Form to them, so that means whatever Terapagos she meet, didn't turned aggressive and this time Kieran might not have something to do it, any maybe he is out there training with another Terapagos instead, hence he wasn't in Kitakami.
It was established that Paradox Pokémon are Pokémon from an alternate timeline, so I really hope the anime provides a strong explanation for why two Entei from the same timeline actually exist. I remember one of the leaked drafts of early Pokémon Horizons suggesting that Terapagos divided its power among the six legendary heroes, which is why they are so overpowered. So, I suspect that maybe Terapagos' power embedded into Lucius’s Entei, causing it to transform into its Paradox form shortly after the events in the episode where Rystal explained what happened between her, Lucius, and Gibeon.
@@ChrisPTY507 Maybe Entei ended up in a diffrent timeline and was changed? Also as with the leaks, we have to wait and see if that is true, because if that was the case, all the other heroes would be in constant Tera-mode, and while they possess the memories of each of them, I think the power Pagogo uses is very much the same as in the games + Rakua, which also seems to enhance it.
Maybe it is because of Pagogo, but I feel like they should make something more interesting than this, given that they also seemed to have trained to be this strong, like with Kleavor, so I expect the same with the others.
Finally. The writers actually recognized Raikou. Even if it was a few seconds. Bro is one of the most forgotten and underrated Legendary’s. He my favorite ❤

I know right?! I blame the anime ultimately for barely showcasing Raikou since other than appearing in the trio, it only got its solo focus in a side story that doesn't feature Ash, which is mainly forgotten. Compared to Suicune who has a few episodes and its own game, Entei with its appearance here and its own movie, poor Raikou just got left in the dust :(
@ Exactly!! And Raikou is the strongest out of the 3. According to Pokemon Lore. Which I go by lore, rather than the games. Because the games are so wrong when it comes to how powerful Pokemon are. And people tend to go by the games. But I’m going by lore. And Raikou is the strongest out of them, and the most mysterious one too. ❤️And he got left behind 😭😭

So when Gibeon meant by his father betrayed him it turns out Crave simply left the Explorers to manage his father's company and was nothing grandiose. It explains why Amethio does not want to be like his father who to them believes is a coward who no longer wishes to pursue that dream.
I figured the Tacklers would be exploring Area Zero eventually.
Really great episode imo. I like the whole premise for Entei's encounter with volcano stuff and how underwater volcano caused a birth of a new island. How it actually happened with Earth.
Fight against it was also really good and game accurate: showing Pressure ability, Cap getting burned from Sacred Fire, a move with high burn chance. Also Stomping Tantrum increasing its power after every miss.
Highlight was obviously Crocalor overcoming Extrasensory and landing powerful Stomping Tantrum.
Entei was obviously a winner. Proper showcase of a Legendary Beast( unlike embarrassment of Suicune in JN )
Also it was cool how each member played a role here. Cap is a main attacker being naturally strong, Crocalor and Quaxwell mainly attacking with Water and Ground moves, and Floragato with disadvantage being a support mon.
And I really like how whole Entei thing happened to be a fluke, which adds a challenge to find a correct one. Raikou and Suicune were a welcome addition.
It’s honestly fantastic how they actually have to battle for some Pokémon and some legendaries vs Goh who tried to be there friend, caught them, and never used them. It’s wild

In the last episode of Pokemon Horizon the Rising Volt Tacklers believe at the time Entei that they battle was Lucius's Entei until Raikou and Suicune appeared as they realise that it's wild Pokémon.
I knew that Gouging Fire would be the entei somehow in lucius' team. Such a beastly paradox pokemon.

Actually I think there’s a chance that Crave could be Gibeon’s son in law. I mean think about it, Gibeon only referred to Crave as Amethio’s father no his son, and Crave referred to Gibeon as Chairman Gibeon, not his father. Also Crave doesn’t have Gibeon’s eyes.

The writers actually confirmed that the pokedex entries are true in the anime due to one of entei's dex entries quote: volcanoes erupt when it barks.
Anyone notice the Fire Blast(or Sacred Fire) looked just like the Fire Blast that Entei used in Spell of the Unown, except it wasn't purple?
I hope you see the legendary beasts return in the area zero Arc where they help the Rising volt tacklers battle and catch Gouging Fire and they also want to see them meet and interact with their paradox counterparts

In my school vr game recently, The Astro Toilets are doing investigations on Area Zero due to something dangerous in it that's causing it, and the only known piece of evidence is the ruins of Ultra Megaopilies (now known as Illuminate city) is a old shield that looks like Terapagos tera form shell
I dont see Roy catching Sreaming Tail, but its possible that Sango COULD catch it instead since it seems that Sango will be the first person to encounter Screaming Tail than Roy did on January.

Does anyone know when we will be getting more English dubbed episodes of pokemon horizons? because out of 78 episodes only 45 are English dubbed.
For mistook the lucius's entei as gouging fire i think its still make sense because when eps 75, We're using rystal's perspective that she didnt know a thing about heath, paradox pokemon or even scarlet book. So basically she's assuming THAT gouging fire was entei because lack of information even though she retrieved terapagos from area zero
But still what a breathtaking battle against legendary. And knowing crave, Friede's former boss is turns out is amethio's father was kinda surprising

In that case, why wouldn't it happen to the others and only Entei (unless the anime gives a good reason)
Most likely, Lucius and others assumed it was Entei, similar to how others assume the Galarian Birds are variants of the Kanto Birds, when in reality they just look similar
@AAlex-wg8ml Then, in the flashbacks, we would see Gouging Fire, and Lucius and the others would call it Entei because they thought it was the regular Entei, but it just looked different.

Horizons has been peak 🔥 from what I’ve watched in this recent episode what I’m so curious about is the CEO dude claiming to be Amethio’s father (which I don’t believe he is ) then again it seemed like he lied to Spinel… which is interesting since he’s consistently been there stealing rakurium … I personally hope we get a heartbreaking story where a set of parents aren’t around or have passed on (whether that’s Roy or Amethio) pls make it happen! (And either aren’t 100% aware)..
A second thing I’m curious about is considering Liko’s third Pokémon is a legendary Pokémon what about Roy? Yes I do think he will capture Rayquaza (however miraculously I do think Lucius is alive somehow) as for Dot like honestly any Pokémon could be on team and no legendary….
Anyway, bring on 2025 Pokémon

@@Zistheone2 there are like 27 Suicunes existing in the anime, this ain't one of them.
Regarding Entei and Gouging Fire, I feel like this kind of underwined Johto as a whole as I feel like it is a rather underappreciated and now that a Paradox Version exists, it made it even more underapprieciated. During the episode, I had my hunch that this wasn't the correct Entei, but I really though they were going to reveal something big and they did. I really hoped Gouging Fire wasn't it initially, but I take it, it was a fun twist, even if you could predict it, but I take it, so I hope next year Area Zero is going to be exciting and maybe we get new stuff here.

I'm really hoping that in future episodes that they catch more regular pokemon. I think it would be cool if all three of the kids get an eevee and we get to see more of the differences of how they care for their pokemon.

I admit, I didn't expect the anime to so openly acknowledge the fact that legendaries aren't unique, just extremely rare, by having them find a Entei that isn't Lucius' Entei.
They did that with Lugia, Latias, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Zygarde in previous series/seasons.

@Okeana_Aster that's fair. Also apparently a Nurse Joy used a Latias. She used it against Brock's brother Forrest in his Gym Leader test. A prime example of multiple of the same Legendaries appearing in the anime is the Regis. Pyramid King Brandon(the Frontier Brain) has Regirock, Registeel, and Regice he used them to reawaken Regigigas in Snowpoint Temple. Then we see those 3 again but they belong to those 2 Project Mew members. Then we see a Dynamax Regigigas
@@Okeana_Aster The games do with Hoopa rings, Ultra Wormholes, and Dynamax Adventures along with the multiverse being canon to Pokemon. Even let’s go allows you to catch multiple legendary birds when you capture the static encounter ones.

I was thinking that Entei might actually be Gouging Fire until the flashback episode where it's shown to be a normal Entei, but I guess that could have been a misdirect. 🤔 The Gouging Fire speculation isn't dead yet!
Also, just wanted to point out that where Lucius captured Entei does look like Area Zero.
The Preview from the past is mostly not an error!
It definitely makes sense for Lucius' Entei to be Gouging Fire, it's a Past Paradox Pokémon and Lucius had one in the past

It kinda amazes me that it didn’t even occur to the RVT the entire time of the possibility that this wasn’t even the Entei they were looking for despite there being more than one out there

Prediction:- Florgato will evolve in the next episode, like how she evolved while fighting Rayquaza last time. But I don't think she has developed enough to evolve yet. I would say Achigator based on today's episode, but he only evolved recently so I don't think so. Fuecoco joined Roy after the first battle, and Sprigatito evolved in the second, maybe something will happen with Quaxly for this one? Maybe a new move?
Also, I think it will be the first time the Squad will fight Rayquaza without Amethio. Or will he turn up? (Unprobable, sneaking entry into the Crater may not be on his to-do list).
For me, Horizons needs to have more seasons than Ash's Journeys.. Imagine after completing Lucius's Heroes Team, Liko gonna find out Lucius's other book of unfinished business. Liko, along with Roy and Dot gonna separate ways like on HxH then their journey gonna be a search for the mysteries of Rakurium, Legends, and maybe a game like storytelling..

I think Lapras might get a mega evolution in Pokemon Legends ZA since all of Lucius's Pokemons are somewhat related to later games, with acception of Lapras and Rayquza and Ray obviously has a role in mega evolution so Lapras may get something new in za

Not me being way too convinced that Amethio’s Dad was Ghetsis until seeing this video and being sad that Amethio’s Dad ain’t Ghetsis. Cuz I feel like Ghetsis’ design kinda reminds me of Gibeon and it would’ve been soooo cool to see another evil team make a comeback

Part of me feels that the Gouging Fire is Lucius' Entei because it will be redundant to go after a second Entei that doesn't belong to Lucius but on the same time it still doesn't really make sense. Lucius describes Entei as Entei in his Journal and Rystal says Entei in her story while they should have known the difference between Entei and Gouging Fire as they had a Scarlet Book. In the episode Terapagos also thought Entei belonged to Lucius while he would have known it's a different one if Lucius had a Gouging Fire instead. It also doesn't seem like Lucius ever went to Area Zero as Rystal found Terapagos instead so i don't know where he could have found a Gouging Fire.
I mean no one in the Scarlet Book said that this mon was Gouging Fire, so it's easiy to just say it is an Entei, kinda like with many similiar animals we meet, like with Aligators and Hares. Also it could have been a normal Entei, until it transformed in Area Zero, since we don't know how Paradox Pokémon are born!
I mean, it's got the right fur colors, four legs, volcano powers...unless you directly address the big ceratopsian head shield thing it has a Gouging Fire looks more or less like an Entei, and most people wouldn’t have ever seen a normal one...or known what a Gouging Fire was. Even in the games it's a name made up for a single weird sighting.
The book doesn’t depict Gouging Fire at all, just some weird mashup of all three beasts.
@@natchu96 There are descriptions of Paradox Pokemon in the games and they all say how they resemble a creature described in the Scarlet/Violet book which implies that there are more pages in the book talking about the paradox Pokemon and we just don’t see them in the game. They also explain that they were named after the creatures described in the book meaning Heath named them so the Gouging Fire should have been in the book.

yeah so many people are saying crave is gibeon's bio son which really confuses me because if that was true why wouldn't he have the upside triangle motif gibeon and amethio share? they wouldn't make that design choice so distinct just to only apply it to 2/3 members of the bloodline

I thought it's a good idea that that Entei is not the Entei that Lucius catch.
This makes sense both for anime and game......because Goh caught Suicune
And in the games you can catch multiple of the same legendary pokemon......so multiple exist
How will they excuse Gouging Fire not being Lucius' Entei in Terapagos' memory? Faulty remembrance? But it wasn't too long ago for Terapagos, considering he fought the crystals alongside them just a few months ago in his memory's timeline. Perhaps they may go the Blood Moon Ursaluna route- changing with time in different environments? But then why would that not happen with the other 4 pokemon who roamed free? I know they won't leave it be, the trust the writers that much by this point.
Entei was probably a sleep inside the Ancient Pokemon for a few years then it woke up and I would still be an Original Entei even after waking up from hibernation!

Crave looks nothing like Gibeon so I believe that Amethio's mother is his daughter
I knew Amethio was going to search for his father, he was probably the closest at finding Laqua, and I feel like we might with Amethio did deeper into his family's history, and perhaps a tragedy happened that turned Crave into this cold person.
Also I disagree on Crave. It is much cooler that he just some failed dude who grew bitter, it would have been too predictable to have him vanish for defying Gibeon, as we already have too many Zuko parallels with Amethio and didn't need another one, so I assume his mom isn't going to be better. I wouldn't say more realistic, since Gibeon could have always excommunicated him from the family and thus be without any connections with Amethio, as it would be more realisitc with such a criminal family. I say as a subversion that also explains Amethio's loyalty: He has Gibeon who like with Lucius towards Liko, entrusted him a legacy and thus gave him a life purpose. As for Crave being the fahter of Amethio, I also have not watched any episdoes with Crave, so I had no opinion on him. Hehe...
Anyway, I wonder what Area Zero is going to be like? Will we meet Arven and his parents down there? Will we see Briar and Carmine again? Will Amethio follow them and will Black Rayquaza follow them? Will they then reach with the SIx Heroes Laqua or will the heroes be stolen and have to follow Gibeon? Let's wait for the next year!

I was watching this episode and suddenly a thought came that how is it possible that every legendary pokemon they are encountering are of Lucius. I mean like there can't be only one entei in the entire pokemon universe right? . And 7 minutes later they actually pulled the curve ball. Man i was little proud of myself 😁

Actually it was confirmed that some legendaries have multiple etc like lugia with a baby during one of ash's journeys. Or multiple bird trio and the beasts too. I believe that only certain legendaries are exclusive like the creation trio where there is only one of them
Like there can be multiple latios and latias but there only can be one arceus or one giratina
