All my headcannons are about Galar since the characters there didn’t get enough development: 1. Gloria learned swear words in German so she could say offensive things while sounding as offensive as possible, while Victor learned swear words in French so he could say offensive things while sounding kind and flowery. 2. The reason Leon used a normal poké ball to try to catch Eternatus is because he lost all of his better poké balls. 3. Bede hates hanging out with Gloria, Victor, Marnie and Hop, but occasionally Opal will invite him to her house and he’ll makes plans with them just so he can say he’s busy. Marnie is the only one of the four to have figured this out. 4. When Iono was a very small streamer, Raihan reacted to one of her VODs, and he’s the main reason she blew up. 5. Most Sobble aren’t nearly as emotional as they seem. They just know that if they cry they can become invisible, so they teach themselves to fake cry.
3 (Continued): Opal knows that Bede does this, but she continues inviting/threatening him over to her house at least once a week because it's the only way to force Bede to make regular hang-out plans with kids his age.

I got a couple more: 1. At least once in the history of Paldea. People were getting diagnosed with "Nemophobia" (The fear of Nemona) 2. (Adding onto 20:49) The Pokemon TCG is still a well known part of Sinnoh culture. 3. Vine is canon and is where Iono started her career.
Okay, I have a few: 1. Lysandre paints his nails every day. Originally it was to stop him biting his nails, but he eventually forgot the reason and just kept painting them out of habit. 2. Ghetsis got kicked out of Rainbow Rocket after a few weeks because every got so sick of him and unanimously voted to kick him out. 3. Adult Ash often travels to schools and hosts special battle lessons for the students and their Pokémon. 4. Cyrus can fall asleep literally anywhere given it’s quiet enough. Hope this gets into the next video!
Hopefully this time I'll actually be noticed. Have a handful of my headcanons. - Bonnie and Max become travel buds when they get older and start their own journeys, starting with pokemon gifted from their families and amassing teams made up of pokemon they met during their adventures with Ash. Ex: Max starts off with a Slakoth and eventually catches Ralts; Bonnie starts off with Dedenne (obvi) and eventually catches that shiny Phantump. - Most pokemon that normally only evolve through trade *do* have a means with which to evolve without it. The problem is the pokemon professors are totally *stumped* as to how exactly it works. - Alola's a common place where former villainous team members get a fresh start or just go on sabbatical after their defeat. You only really meet and interact with Colress, but guys like ORAS Maxie and Archie, Saturn, Lysandre, and other reformed villains are scattered around the islands, and you'd never know because they aren't important to the story and aren't in uniform anyway. - Jessie, James, and Meowth get fired from Team Rocket soon after the end of the anime because Giovanni ultimately reaches the end of his rope with them. After a short grieving period, they travel around to reunite with all of their pokemon that they released and ultimately return to Alola. - N and his sisters ultimately wind up taking on certain professions in their travels. Concordia becomes a Pokemon Connaisseuse like Cilan, Anthea becomes a traveling nurse, and N becomes a Pokemon Ranger. - Penny and the Team Star squad bosses eventually form a theater club at the academy. Giacomo runs music, Mela's in charge of sets, Atticus mans costumes, Eri handles makeup, and Ortega handles any involved pokemon along with casting. Penny arranges the scripts and directs the actual performances. Naturally, a bunch of students apply to join the new club, and Salvatore in particular is ecstatic about it and helps arrange for a dedicated area for performances.
My headcanon is this one -Paldea is in debt with other Pokémon regions (Mainly because of money withdrawed for Area Zero’s research), that’s why Geeta pays little to no money to gym leaders, that’s why they have all secondary jobs, like Katie having a Bakery. -Ryme has tried to contact with other Musicians outside of Paldea, but she couldnt agree with them because they thought she was too creepy
I have a couple headcanons: 1. Bruno uses his Onix as weights to lift. I will not explain this, it just makes sense to me. 2. Nemona cannot cook even if her life depends on it. She will always burn the food or something, and always just ends up ordering fast food. 3. Delibird delivers berries to random Pokémon on Christmas. 4. Arven probably has a cooking channel on whatever the Pokémon equivalent of RUclips is.
My headcanons are: 1) N is the type of person who has to explore every inch of a video game, do every possible sidequest, and try every single random thing in the game. He'll put off doing the main plot for days at a time and even avoid areas that trigger story events until he's completely sure he's 100%ed everything else. It drives Cheren crazy because Cheren just wants to beat the game. He'll also just try stuff out of curiosity and frequently die doing something dumb. Like the instant he learned about the giant Leviathan on the edge of the map in Subnautica, he immediately dropped whatever sidequest he was doing and tried to trigger it into spawning. 2) There are Pokémon world equivalents of real world musicals. 3) Tying into the previous headcanon, Touko/Hilda is a celebrity in universe not only because she's the Champion, but because she played Elphaba in the Unova run of Wicked (this is just so I don't feel weird about imagining Touko/Hilda singing Defying Gravity). 4) the movies in PokeStar studios existed previous to B2W2, the versions the protagonist starred in were just remakes, and there is a similarly polarized fan opinion to these remakes as Disney Live-action remakes get nowadays. 5) N has been deliberately sheltered from anything romantic or s*xual, and so he continues to describe the player as "a friend" even though it becomes obvious to anyone listening that he has a crush on them. His only experience with romance has been the most sanitized fairy tales Ghetsis could find, so when he finally admits he had a thing for the player, he's interpreting it through the lens of these stories and describes his feelings for the player as "storybook" love. That also makes sense with his emphasis on his "destined" rivalry with the player: he's interpreting his feelings for them in the only way he knows how.
Random Legendary Headcanons: - Chien-Pao secretly has the personality of your standard 80's-2000s overconfident cool guy - When any two Fairy-type Legends meet, they will strike a conversation that will take hours. The non-Fairy-types dislike when this happens - Uxie may have built at least one of the mechanical Pokémon themselves - When Terapagos does something that angers any other Legendary, they'll say something along the lines of "You're lucky you're cute" - There's an error in the Gen 6 Essential Handbook where Reshiram is listed at over 6,000 lbs, which leads me to believe that they stress-ate between Gens 5 and 6, although I doubt they'd be able to hide that they've been stress-eating since they're the embodiment of truth. What would cause Reshiram to stress-eat, I'll leave to everyone else
I fully endorse "You're lucky you're cute." I also believe none of them want to tangle with Terapagos since it could very easily assume an advantageous type matchup and set up a Tera barrier that none of them could Terastalize to break through. They KNOW how strong the turtle is, but none of them want to admit that this tiny lil guy could easily take them down if it wanted.
My headcannon is that Nemona, Arven, Penny and the player have a RUclips channel together where they post skits, tutorials and tips on different topics like battling, cooking and how to solve computer problems.

All the Pokemon protagonists are actually great friends and/or in a relationship, May, Dawn, and Lyra are obsessed with contests, Brendan, Red, and Ethan are battling each other 24/7, Calem has a secret crush on Hilda (which the Kalos friend crew constantly teases him about), Selene and Elio are always idolizing Red, while Blue just watches angrily, Kris, Nate, Rosa, Serena, Florian, and Victor watch the anarchy, while Gloria, Lucas, and Juliana are just causing mischief who knows where 6. Lugia and Ho-Oh fight daily to see who the better trio master is 7. All the Team Star bosses have embarrassing passions nobody else knows (even fellows star bosses) those being Giacomo listens to lovey-dovey songs like Cupid or Every Time We Touch, Ortega has a secret stash of black licorice that he scarfs down once a week (everybody hates black licorice), Mela secretly dresses up as a doll (like Barbie) in her downtime, Atticus players with ninja figurines (maybe a knock-off Naruto), and Eri watches preschool shows like Dora or Thomas & Friends

I have a few headcanons: 1. N had an experience in a PMD world and that’s why he can understand Pokémon’s voices but he can’t remember it. 2. At some point in time lucario was super op, because if they can use aura to use aura sphere and bone rush they have to have been able to buff themselves with aura to ridiculous levels. 3. Some people have electric Pokemon just to charge their phones (if they don’t have rotom phones). 4. Some rich kids got their Pokemon through their parents buying them from strong trainers but since the rich kid never bonded with the Pokemon they lose most battles

my headcannon is that Skeledirge likes to hang around watering holes like real crocodiles but always ends up hurting itself since its weak to water. It will then get crocalor to sing and dance to cheer it up.
1. Viola and Perrin would either be best friends or major rivals. Maybe both. I just want them to interact. 2. Volo would sing lullaby’s and nursery rhymes to his togepi but change the lyrics to be horrid and have a terrible meaning, maybe even vent out his frustration or insanity, but sing or say it in such a kindhearted tone that his Pokémon would just assume he’s saying something nice, not understanding him. Like if you were to say something absolutely terrible to a dog but in such a happy and loving tone, they’d respond positively to it because they’re paying attention to your tone and not your words. 3. Emmet listen to piers. In Pokémon masters ex theres a scene where he takes notice at piers performance, and stays to listen. Pokémon masters ex isn’t technically canon but I like to think this means emmet would be into that kind of music, maybe ingo.

I have a fic where Touko is awkward around him because she gets a rancid vibe from him, and he indirectly accuses Touko of being ableist by implying she's uncomfortable with his injuries specifically - not because he's being a creep.
Headcanon 1: Consoles exist in the Pokemon World but have their own brand like Playstation and Switch. So theyd have Rotomcube(Xbox) Porygonplay(Playstaion) and PIkatwoswitch(Nintendo Switch). And some of the games on there would be like real ones like Eevee party, Pikachu oddesy, Legend of Gardevoir and Woppa(Kriby lol). Headcannon 2: Sophhilices is the one who taught Iona how to stream and use technolgy and their little tech buddies meeting every month in Alola.

Here's a headcanon I came up with somewhat recently: Kieran wasn't obsessed with Ogerpon just because he thought the legend was cool. Instead, he met Ogerpon when he was a lot younger, and despite what the legends said, Ogerpon was kind to him. That's why he believes even before his grandpa says so that Ogerpon was good all along, and why he's so eager to tell the other villagers about it despite the potential backlash.
Headcanon: Penny is secretly obsessed with Gacha Life videos. One time Arven saw her watching it and he threatens to tell the Star Admims about it if she doesn’t try his food. Rika actually does cool adventurer stuff with her Clodsire and other Pokemon, but must tone down her adventurous spirit to be an Elite Four member. Hassel often spends time painting with his Baxcalibur. The Baxcalibur tries to paint too but is very bad at it. But Hassel always pats him on the back and tells him he did a good job! After Pecharunt is caught, when he uses his signature move Malignant Chain and signature ability Poison Puppeteer, the Pokemon it gets used on temporarily falls under his control for the duration of the battle. Sometimes, Hassel and Brassius do art together. They bring their Baxcalibur and Sudowoodo too. Cynthia dresses up her Garchomp as a baby and carries her around in a Garchomp-sized stroller sometimes. Trainers with shapeshifting/illusion Pokemon (like Ditto or Zorua) bring them out on Halloween so they can shapeshift into other Pokemon and people will never suspect it.

I have a headcanon that the top of the Dreepy line's heads were modified by humans long ago for war (especially since Dragapult's resembles a B-2 bomber plane) but they eventually overpowered the unmodified versions and drove them to extinction
Iono is a big introvert, but she eats a lot of candy, giving her the energy and sugar trip to do her job. Dreepy catching is a sport in the Pokemon world, Dragapult launching them, and Gholdengo seems to be one of the best for catching them right now.

I know I have been fitured in a headcannons video, but I got some more: 1. Sabrina was the one who was suggested to be an E4 member but she rejected this because she wouldn't have time pursuing her career as an actor in Unova, but she suggested on Koga 2. The reason why Koga doesn't have a weezing in his E4 team and jasmine owns one is because Jasmine's weezing is originally Koga's he just gave it to her because he knew he wouldn't be home that often so at least she will keep a piece of him. 3. Blue got like over 90% of the kanto dex complete and he crafts a different team of 6 for every gym leader, and the reason why he doesn't change his team is because he think the team of 6 is the most efficient, and the reason for why he never changes his team each time he loses is because he just makes excuses like "I was just unlucky" or shit like that 4. Jasmine's Amphy got a tera type of steel. 5. Iono would often do reaction streams of the player after beating every gym leader after defeating her, or for any major event like Gloria and Hop vs Eternamax or Elio vs Hau/Kukui in the pokemon league, but she will do those shitty types of reaction being really cringy and not shutting the fuck up for 1 millisecond. 6. after the events of SV Penny hooked up Nemona on shonen animes, mostly so she will stop asking her for a fight like every 3 seconds (also side note, the only reason nemona is into it is because of the fights not the plot) 7. Jessie's Mimikyu knows every slur in the dictionary and says each one when he sees Ash's pikachu (what he will say would be so extreme that if pokemons could have speaked, the anime would be canceled for mimikyu being offensive to everything on else) 8. The reason why Naranja/Uva academy's classes are all around battling is because research in the pokemon world found that if the lessons implemented things they love into the lessons, the students will learn better, and they thing they love just happen to be battling

Lysandre just needed some more sense talked into him and all he needs to do to stop the bad guys is to blackmail them into admitting to Looker.
A few crappy HCs: - Kieran is non-binary (the hair, and the cOiNcIdEnCe of Kitikami having the first ever Gender Neutral bathrooms in Pokémon) - Cyrano had a villain arc but forgot about it and is back to being chill - Nemona rigged the lotto to send you to Kitikami, knowing you would get chosen to go to Blueberry Academy, that way you would become stronger. Or, alternatively, Nemona asked Penny to rig the lotto. - Nemona is a moderator of a site similar to Pokémon Showdown.

My headcanon is that May is one of the happiest and most excitable people on the planet; even the smallest things can make her day. For example, no matter how sad or angry she is feeling, if she simply sees or smells ice cream, excitement immediately takes over and she practically forgets that she was ever sad/angry. Also she can get along with anyone and I. Mean. ANYONE. One time, Dawn joked that she wouldn’t even be surprised if May befriended Cyrus

I have 2 headcanons 1- All Legendary and Mythical Pokemon can speak the human language,The only ones who can't are the Regis and Deoxys who only make weird sounds,but Deoxys can learn the language of humans 2- N can understand the language of Pokemon because if you spend a lot of time with Pokemon when you are very young you can learn their language and understand them correctly
here's a headcanon I just thought of: All the nurse Joy's are another secret cloning project (much like the Mewtwo project), they were cloning Chansey and eventually the clones kept becoming more humanoid until they became the nurse Joy's we all know and love today (this would also explain why Chansey and Blissey are always seen with a nurse Joy)

My head canon is that Cyrus worked at an office before he became a team leader and his insomnia from there still persists even after he left. The reason he wants to restart the world is because he hated his time there
Here's mine: Steven and Wallace are boyfriends. Steven is always the one to drive them places and wakes Wallace up to a home cooked breakfast every morning. Bede became close with Opal after he took over the gym and she often invites him over for tea and cake. Dawn and Lucas would always visit Rowan's lab, and he would tell them stories about his research beside the fire during winter. When he grew up, Hugh opened a shelter for abandoned Pokémon, or became a bounty hunter who tracks down stolen Pokémon. Ghetsis was never a good guy, by any means but after the incident that caused him to lose his arm and eye/become paralysed, he went completely off the rails and vowed to control Pokémon as revenge for what they did to him. A popular one, but Penny is a trans woman. Peony is a supportive dad and although estranged, when Rose found out, he offered to pay for her to transition when she was old enough. When she told Nia, she took her on a shopping spree and taught her how to do her makeup. After the main story, her and Mela bond over clothing and makeup - if Pokémon had The Sims, Mela would definitely design clothes that Penny would turn into CC. She pirated a bunch of cool DJ software for Giacomo, and he makes hyperpop tracks for her because he knows they're her favourite.
Three worldbuilding headcannons I’ve always had 1. Gym leaders are elected and serve as the mayor of the town We never see much of a pokemon government it’s kind of assumed it’s the Pokémon league, so the gym leaders being mayors has always made sense to me. 2. Their are language differences between regions. People from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh speak Japanese, Unova and Galar speak English, Kalos speaks French, Paldea speaks Spanish/Portuguese, and Alola speaks Hawaiian and English. I also like to think Pokémon from the different regions have trouble communicating with each other as well. 3. As a taxonomist, I like to believe their are massive amounts of taxonomic discourse in the Pokémon worlds scientific community. For example, I like to believe some scientists don’t officially recognize the fairy type as a valid type or some scientist argue that regional variants are actually their own species. I imagine the biggest debate however would be if different evolutionary stages are their own species, like is a charmander the same biological species as a charizard, like how a tadpole and a frog are the same species, or are they completely different

Head cannon: people will smoke shed fur from sprigatito (weed cat) and other grass types. Also the Arceus that the player interacts with is not the real, full Arceus. It's one of Arceus's 'thousand hands.' this would also explain why a ten year old is able to capture it and why it can only use four moves at a time.
A headcanon I have is that Iono's personality that we know her for is all just an act she puts on for her streams, and in real life she's a full blown introvert
I have one that kinda makes sense: Cynthia has multiple personalities disorder. 1 is shown in the games where she is a demon. 2 is shown in the anime where she is kind of a dork yet still menacing in a way.
The ghost girl of Hau'Oli school died in the incinerator. Accident? Premeditated murder? A witness of something? A prank or bullying gone too far? Who knows. But the cemetery and all of its ghost pokemon were all close enough to see it happen, taking pity and preserving her spirit... And her annoying talking patterns...

The reason why Leon is so much stronger in lore compared the other champions is because of Rose who made him dedicate any free time he would have after battles/interviews to training his pokemon rather than letting him have fun/be a kid. Leon was actually a very shy kid and would stutter a lot in a lot of his early interviews so Rose created had him practice his of the top-champion persona because he thought his shyness was unbefitting of a champion. Rose also used his influence removed all those early interivews from the pokemon world's internet.
A few penny headcanons from 4 in the morning: 1. Penny loves Oshi no Ko, is a major Aquakane shipper, and wept after reading Chapter 163. 2. She loves to play otome games. 3. She also consumes a LOT of stories with romance to experience it vicariously, as she does not believe that anyone would like her as she is.
heres a head cannon for Marnie, (at least Masters's version): out of all her rivals and friends (ie: Hop, Victor, Gloria, etc) Gloria is regarded as the closest. if I remember correctly, Gloria was the only person, aside from Piers, to get Palentine's chocolate. She also spent a day at the beach with her, before it ended up becoming a shaved ice stand competition.
A headcanon I have is that arven doesn't like taking off his shirt or even rolling up his sleeves, because he has a lot of scars from when he first went to area zero, and he doesn't want enyone to feel intimated.

My headcanon is that Unova had an entirely unique pokedex because it has strict environmental protection laws that limit which players can import non-native species, likely requiring some sort of licence. And then between games, either these laws were loosened, illegal importations spiked or trainers that were allowed to keep foreign species were convinced to release them by Team Plasma. So, within 2 years, a total of 69 (I think) invasive species have been introduced into Unova’s wilds and by B&W2 are definitely wreaking havoc on the local ecosystem.
Which is kind of ironic since another headcanon of mine is that since pokemon from generation 7 onwards have been based on the region, the same is true for pokemon of previous generations. So I imagine a lot of Unova’s pokemon that don’t feel american, such as the starters, Darmanitan, Cofagrigus, etc, were also once invasive. Brought by settlers in ancient times but were incorporated into the ecosystem over thousands of years.
My headcanon is kind of an expansion pack for the everstone one. The reason why the choice items boost their respective stats is because they allow the Pokémon to use the full extent of their powers without fainting. Think of it as the inverse of Shadow's inhibitor rings. The items also make the Pokémon more arrogant and cocky, which is why the items lock them into using the first move they use.

This mindset explains why he doesn’t feel the need to speak-he doesn’t recognize others as people in the same way he might view pokemon or himself. Winning became his sole priority at such a formative age, leaving little room for emotional connection or social interaction. Even as he grows older, the habit of silence persists, reflecting his ingrained perspective shaped by those early years of relentless competition.
I gots a couple headcanons for ya 1. Cynthia one time tried to make her own homemade Ice Cream. by the end of the day she was in the hospital with several broken bones. she refuses to elaborate on what exactly happenes 2. the reason Nemona is so good at Pokemon Battles is because as a small child, she was bullied for not knowing how to do Pokemon Battles, and would lose all the time, so she trained hard and accidentally became the best in the region 3. wild Absols have become gentle and affectionate over the years to try and get people to not see them as the harbingers of disaster they're seen as. they just want love gosh darnit!
heres a headcannon based on biology! a Palafin has the same cry as a Finizen in its zero form, and looks identical, so telling them apart from normal Finizen is impossible, like a real superhero in disguise. but it has a dense patch of blood vessels on its chest, and the pokemon is in battle and its blood is pumping, the area becomes flooded with blood, resulting in the heart shape. But every superhero needs a weakness, and damage to this area in both Zero and Hero form results in heavy damage (say an instant critical hit) and can even result in blood loss if the skin is peirced, so the pokemon protect this area the best they can.

Headcanon (that is kind of canon I think): Catching and training Pokémon is actually really difficult for every single character that is not the player character. Basically it would take a long time to capture a Pokemon and to make that Pokemon your companion, that's why most trainers only use one or three, and for some it's easier to train a specific type than it is for others, that's why some of the strongest trainers are monotype trainers. The player characters are the exception not the rule. (PS this would also kind of explain why people call you strong, because for them it would take a lot of physical and mental strength to train a single Pokemon, but for the player it’s not difficult whatsoever)

My headcannon is that every 2 protagonists from the nine generations so far have some kind of relationship to or with each other one way or the other Gen 1(Red & Leaf): Red met Leaf while he was exploring the Team Rocket hideout in Celadon City, but Leaf had an actual goal in mind while Red simply found the secret stairs and was investigating the place blindly. After getting the Silph Scope, they escape, and Leaf sort of sticks around for the rest of Reds' journey, and they become amazing battle partners and close friends (but more close associates). Gen 2(Ethan, Kris, & Lyra): They are all triplets, with Ethan being the oldest (thus sometimes brags by saying he's more so the "leader"), Kris is in the middle, and Lyra's the youngest (though she's sometime is a lot more mature than the other two), and they all enjoy and prefer being around each other watching a show, and playing different kinds of video, bord, and card games. Gen 3(Brendan & May): This one is similar to the plot in the manga. When they were much younger, a Salamance was rampaging in a town they were in, and Brendan jumped in the way of a Dragon Claw that would have destroyed a nearby building instead leaving an enormous gash across the side of his forehead to the side of his head. After that, Brendan's family moved to Johto for his and all their safety, and May was left alone with only her family as well. Then, around 9 years later, Brendan's dad, Norman, got a job offer back in Hoenn as the Petalburg City gym leader. Thus, they moved back to Hoenn, but when they arrived, Brendan felt a strange connection to the land he was on and while exploring his (untold to him) old neighborhood, he ran into a now 12-year-old May. None of them recognized each other, but one thing was definitely the same between them, they both have some small anger issues. Gen 4(Lucas & Dawn): Lucas and dawn are cousins who live with each other and their moms in Twinleaf Town. Ever since they were both miraculously born on the same day, they've been raised as if twins and share a deep and unbreakable bond and trust with each other. Gen 5, B&W(Hilbert & Hilda): Ever since the second grade, Hibert and Hilda have been close friends with feelings for each other that have been shared since a long time ago. Even before the events of Black and White, they declared themselves, with real passion, boyfriend and girlfriend, and they've been that way ever since. Even after B&W, they're even went as far as to sleep in the same bed and have, awkwardly, made out. Gen 5, B&W 2(Nate & Rosa): They are brother and sister, where Rosa came only 11 months after Nate was born. Nate has always been sort of an extra parent to Rosa, as she's always off on an adventure getting herself into all kinds trouble, and Nate is always there to help no matter what, and also acts as a mentor to Rosa Gen 6(Calem & Serena): Here, just imagine the entire xy anime and just replace Ash with Calem, and thats how lazy I am. Gen 7(Elio & Selene): Both of them moved from Kanto to Alola with there familys and met each other on a walk around the Hau'oli outskirts where they quickly became friends, and so did their familys. Notable things, 1: Each household has a Meowth as a pet, but Elio's is Kantonian and Selene's is Alolan, yet they actually don't even hate each other, and are actually like Broggy and Dory from One Piece. 2: Elio is a fan of lots of different media and always try bond with Selene over it, but she's always been a more outdoorsy person. 3: Selene also has a twin sister who is black, which makes people not immediately realize their related, which sometimes leads to some awkward situations. 4, biggest of all: Elio and Selene both share a secret that no one else knows that is, to put it shortly, one day, they were at the beach, in their SWIMSUITS, splashing at each other, swimming in the WAVES, they got knocked back to the shore and, well, they learned alot that day. Gen 8(Victor & Gloria): Victor, Gloria, and Hop have all lived in Postwick their whole lives, and have known each other since they were born. Gloria however, spends most of her time with Victor, as she kind of lives with him. Basically, her mum (DON'T JUDGE ME, I'M SPELLING IT THAT WAY FOR EFFECT) works a job in Motostoke, sometimes all the way to Turfield, so to not have Gloria alone all the time, she asked her neighbors and good friends to babysit her over a certain amount of time during the week and then she's off the other amount of time to be with her daughter, and said neighbors is Victors family, and Gloria was already good friends with him, so it was a win-win for everyone. Gen 9(Florian & Juliana): They were born in th Galar region as twins, so when they speak English they have an accent, but their blood and family originates from Paldea, so their mom, whom their Paldea heritage comes from, taught them Spanish from birth, so Florian & Juliana are bilingual. After the events of The Second Darkest Day, they moved to Paldea for their safety and their education (I still haven't found a way to put Naranja and Uva Academy in the same universe so that's all for now) PLEASE notice me Rouge I worked hard on this. Headcanon: Link's (Every version) favorite Pokémon is Calyrex. If you look closely at the green thing on its neck, there's a Tri-force symbol. This also means that Daruk's favorite is Regirock, Urbosa's is Regieleki, Revali's is the bird trio, Mipha's is Regice, Ganondorf's is Regidrago, and Purah's would be Registeel (This one I have to explain. Purah invents things that are similar to the Ancient Technology, which uses a lot of really hard metal like the Guardians and all of the Divine Beasts. THE STEEL TYPE SHOULD'VE BEEN THE METAL TYPE).
I have a personal headcanon that there's power overlap that prevents multiple gimmicks from being used at the same time in different regions, mega and z moves for example not being stackable. It was more of a theory than a headcanon, but i think this is why "dynamax + mega" or "tera + mega" can't happen.

idk if this has been done or not but i have a head cannon that Kieran has a little journal he's used threw out the dlc. Starting off as a little place to theorize about orgepon, write down things he's learned about the pokemon, folklore etc. Then after the player took orgepon away from him he kept that same journal and used it to jot down notes to defeat the player and get stronger. Even tho he wasn't in a good place in the latter half of the journals use, once he becomes friends again with the Player he becomes fond of that journal, showing it off to who ever he can.
Is his journal, it would have cute little stickers on the cover that he put on threw its use, and he would make doodles to represent some of his ideas better (even tho he ain't the best artist TuT)

All my headcannons are about Galar since the characters there didn’t get enough development:
1. Gloria learned swear words in German so she could say offensive things while sounding as offensive as possible, while Victor learned swear words in French so he could say offensive things while sounding kind and flowery.
2. The reason Leon used a normal poké ball to try to catch Eternatus is because he lost all of his better poké balls.
3. Bede hates hanging out with Gloria, Victor, Marnie and Hop, but occasionally Opal will invite him to her house and he’ll makes plans with them just so he can say he’s busy. Marnie is the only one of the four to have figured this out.
4. When Iono was a very small streamer, Raihan reacted to one of her VODs, and he’s the main reason she blew up.
5. Most Sobble aren’t nearly as emotional as they seem. They just know that if they cry they can become invisible, so they teach themselves to fake cry.
3 (Continued): Opal knows that Bede does this, but she continues inviting/threatening him over to her house at least once a week because it's the only way to force Bede to make regular hang-out plans with kids his age.

1. Lysandre paints his nails every day. Originally it was to stop him biting his nails, but he eventually forgot the reason and just kept painting them out of habit.
2. Ghetsis got kicked out of Rainbow Rocket after a few weeks because every got so sick of him and unanimously voted to kick him out.
3. Adult Ash often travels to schools and hosts special battle lessons for the students and their Pokémon.
4. Cyrus can fall asleep literally anywhere given it’s quiet enough.

Hopefully this time I'll actually be noticed. Have a handful of my headcanons.
- Bonnie and Max become travel buds when they get older and start their own journeys, starting with pokemon gifted from their families and amassing teams made up of pokemon they met during their adventures with Ash. Ex: Max starts off with a Slakoth and eventually catches Ralts; Bonnie starts off with Dedenne (obvi) and eventually catches that shiny Phantump.
- Most pokemon that normally only evolve through trade *do* have a means with which to evolve without it. The problem is the pokemon professors are totally *stumped* as to how exactly it works.
- Alola's a common place where former villainous team members get a fresh start or just go on sabbatical after their defeat. You only really meet and interact with Colress, but guys like ORAS Maxie and Archie, Saturn, Lysandre, and other reformed villains are scattered around the islands, and you'd never know because they aren't important to the story and aren't in uniform anyway.
- Jessie, James, and Meowth get fired from Team Rocket soon after the end of the anime because Giovanni ultimately reaches the end of his rope with them. After a short grieving period, they travel around to reunite with all of their pokemon that they released and ultimately return to Alola.
- N and his sisters ultimately wind up taking on certain professions in their travels. Concordia becomes a Pokemon Connaisseuse like Cilan, Anthea becomes a traveling nurse, and N becomes a Pokemon Ranger.
- Penny and the Team Star squad bosses eventually form a theater club at the academy. Giacomo runs music, Mela's in charge of sets, Atticus mans costumes, Eri handles makeup, and Ortega handles any involved pokemon along with casting. Penny arranges the scripts and directs the actual performances. Naturally, a bunch of students apply to join the new club, and Salvatore in particular is ecstatic about it and helps arrange for a dedicated area for performances.

My headcanons are:
1) N is the type of person who has to explore every inch of a video game, do every possible sidequest, and try every single random thing in the game. He'll put off doing the main plot for days at a time and even avoid areas that trigger story events until he's completely sure he's 100%ed everything else. It drives Cheren crazy because Cheren just wants to beat the game. He'll also just try stuff out of curiosity and frequently die doing something dumb. Like the instant he learned about the giant Leviathan on the edge of the map in Subnautica, he immediately dropped whatever sidequest he was doing and tried to trigger it into spawning.
2) There are Pokémon world equivalents of real world musicals.
3) Tying into the previous headcanon, Touko/Hilda is a celebrity in universe not only because she's the Champion, but because she played Elphaba in the Unova run of Wicked (this is just so I don't feel weird about imagining Touko/Hilda singing Defying Gravity).

His only experience with romance has been the most sanitized fairy tales Ghetsis could find, so when he finally admits he had a thing for the player, he's interpreting it through the lens of these stories and describes his feelings for the player as "storybook" love. That also makes sense with his emphasis on his "destined" rivalry with the player: he's interpreting his feelings for them in the only way he knows how.

I fully endorse "You're lucky you're cute." I also believe none of them want to tangle with Terapagos since it could very easily assume an advantageous type matchup and set up a Tera barrier that none of them could Terastalize to break through. Headcanon 1: Consoles exist in the Pokemon World but have their own brand like Playstation and Switch. So theyd have Rotomcube(Xbox) Porygonplay(Playstaion) and PIkatwoswitch(Nintendo Switch). Kieran wasn't obsessed with Ogerpon just because he thought the legend was cool. Instead, he met Ogerpon when he was a lot younger, and despite what the legends said, Ogerpon was kind to him. That's why he believes even before his grandpa says so that Ogerpon was good all along, and why he's so eager to tell the other villagers about it despite the potential backlash.

I have a headcanon that the top of the Dreepy line's heads were modified by humans long ago for war (especially since Dragapult's resembles a B-2 bomber plane) but they eventually overpowered the unmodified versions and drove them to extinction
Iono is a big introvert, but she eats a lot of candy, giving her the energy and sugar trip to do her job.
Dreepy catching is a sport in the Pokemon world, Dragapult launching them, and Gholdengo seems to be one of the best for catching them right now.
I headcanon that Red wants to battle Leon, but he doesn’t know how to get a ticket or he doesn’t want to stress his mother out by either moving or traveling alone.
I know I have been fitured in a headcannons video, but I got some more:
1. Sabrina was the one who was suggested to be an E4 member but she rejected this because she wouldn't have time pursuing her career as an actor in Unova, but she suggested on Koga
2. The reason why Koga doesn't have a weezing in his E4 team and jasmine owns one is because Jasmine's weezing is originally Koga's he just gave it to her because he knew he wouldn't be home that often so at least she will keep a piece of him.
3. Blue got like over 90% of the kanto dex complete and he crafts a different team of 6 for every gym leader, and the reason why he doesn't change his team is because he think the team of 6 is the most efficient, and the reason for why he never changes his team each time he loses is because he just makes excuses like "I was just unlucky" or shit like that
4. Jasmine's Amphy got a tera type of steel.
5. Iono would often do reaction streams of the player after beating every gym leader after defeating her, or for any major event like Gloria and Hop vs Eternamax or Elio vs Hau/Kukui in the pokemon league, but she will do those shitty types of reaction being really cringy and not shutting the fuck up for 1 millisecond.
6. after the events of SV Penny hooked up Nemona on shonen animes, mostly so she will stop asking her for a fight like every 3 seconds (also side note, the only reason nemona is into it is because of the fights not the plot)
7. Jessie's Mimikyu knows every slur in the dictionary and says each one when he sees Ash's pikachu (what he will say would be so extreme that if pokemons could have speaked, the anime would be canceled for mimikyu being offensive to everything on else)
8. The reason why Naranja/Uva academy's classes are all around battling is because research in the pokemon world found that if the lessons implemented things they love into the lessons, the students will learn better, and they thing they love just happen to be battling

My head canon is that Cyrus worked at an office before he became a team leader and his insomnia from there still persists even after he left. The reason he wants to restart the world is because he hated his time there

Steven and Wallace are boyfriends. Steven is always the one to drive them places and wakes Wallace up to a home cooked breakfast every morning.
Bede became close with Opal after he took over the gym and she often invites him over for tea and cake.
Dawn and Lucas would always visit Rowan's lab, and he would tell them stories about his research beside the fire during winter.
When he grew up, Hugh opened a shelter for abandoned Pokémon, or became a bounty hunter who tracks down stolen Pokémon.
Ghetsis was never a good guy, by any means but after the incident that caused him to lose his arm and eye/become paralysed, he went completely off the rails and vowed to control Pokémon as revenge for what they did to him.
A popular one, but Penny is a trans woman. Peony is a supportive dad and although estranged, when Rose found out, he offered to pay for her to transition when she was old enough. When she told Nia, she took her on a shopping spree and taught her how to do her makeup. After the main story, her and Mela bond over clothing and makeup - if Pokémon had The Sims, Mela would definitely design clothes that Penny would turn into CC. She pirated a bunch of cool DJ software for Giacomo, and he makes hyperpop tracks for her because he knows they're her favourite.
Three worldbuilding headcannons I’ve always had
1. Gym leaders are elected and serve as the mayor of the town We never see much of a pokemon government it’s kind of assumed it’s the Pokémon league, so the gym leaders being mayors has always made sense to me.
2. Their are language differences between regions. People from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh speak Japanese, Unova and Galar speak English, Kalos speaks French, Paldea speaks Spanish/Portuguese, and Alola speaks Hawaiian and English. I also like to think Pokémon from the different regions have trouble communicating with each other as well.
3. As a taxonomist, I like to believe their are massive amounts of taxonomic discourse in the Pokémon worlds scientific community. For example, I like to believe some scientists don’t officially recognize the fairy type as a valid type or some scientist argue that regional variants are actually their own species. I imagine the biggest debate however would be if different evolutionary stages are their own species, like is a charmander the same biological species as a charizard, like how a tadpole and a frog are the same species, or are they completely different

my head cannon is that when the E4 members gets hired they are excited to battle strong trainers and when years (maybe months idk) pass with little trainers reaching the league, they get bored and just chill at home waiting and when they get a call that someone made it to the league, they get upset that they have to do something instead of chill and be lazy

The reason why Leon is so much stronger in lore compared the other champions is because of Rose who made him dedicate any free time he would have after battles/interviews to training his pokemon rather than letting him have fun/be a kid. Leon was actually a very shy kid and would stutter a lot in a lot of his early interviews so Rose created had him practice his of the top-champion persona because he thought his shyness was unbefitting of a champion. Rose also used his influence removed all those early interivews from the pokemon world's internet.
A few penny headcanons from 4 in the morning:
1. Penny loves Oshi no Ko, is a major Aquakane shipper, and wept after reading Chapter 163.
2. She loves to play otome games.

My headcanon is that Unova had an entirely unique pokedex because it has strict environmental protection laws that limit which players can import non-native species, likely requiring some sort of licence. And then between games, either these laws were loosened, illegal importations spiked or trainers that were allowed to keep foreign species were convinced to release them by Team Plasma. So, within 2 years, a total of 69 (I think) invasive species have been introduced into Unova’s wilds and by B&W2 are definitely wreaking havoc on the local ecosystem.
Which is kind of ironic since another headcanon of mine is that since pokemon from generation 7 onwards have been based on the region, the same is true for pokemon of previous generations. So I imagine a lot of Unova’s pokemon that don’t feel american, such as the starters, Darmanitan, Cofagrigus, etc, were also once invasive. Brought by settlers in ancient times but were incorporated into the ecosystem over thousands of years.

My headcanon is kind of an expansion pack for the everstone one. The reason why the choice items boost their respective stats is because they allow the Pokémon to use the full extent of their powers without fainting. Even as he grows older, the habit of silence persists, reflecting his ingrained perspective shaped by those early years of relentless competition.

1. Cynthia one time tried to make her own homemade Ice Cream. by the end of the day she was in the hospital with several broken bones. she refuses to elaborate on what exactly happenes
2. the reason Nemona is so good at Pokemon Battles is because as a small child, she was bullied for not knowing how to do Pokemon Battles, and would lose all the time, so she trained hard and accidentally became the best in the region
3. wild Absols have become gentle and affectionate over the years to try and get people to not see them as the harbingers of disaster they're seen as. they just want love gosh darnit!
heres a headcannon based on biology!
a Palafin has the same cry as a Finizen in its zero form, and looks identical, so telling them apart from normal Finizen is impossible, like a real superhero in disguise. but it has a dense patch of blood vessels on its chest, and the pokemon is in battle and its blood is pumping, the area becomes flooded with blood, resulting in the heart shape. But every superhero needs a weakness, and damage to this area in both Zero and Hero form results in heavy damage (say an instant critical hit) and can even result in blood loss if the skin is peirced, so the pokemon protect this area the best they can.

Headcanon (that is kind of canon I think): Catching and training Pokémon is actually really difficult for every single character that is not the player character. Basically it would take a long time to capture a Pokemon and to make that Pokemon your companion, that's why most trainers only use one or three, and for some it's easier to train a specific type than it is for others, that's why some of the strongest trainers are monotype trainers. The player characters are the exception not the rule.
(PS this would also kind of explain why people call you strong, because for them it would take a lot of physical and mental strength to train a single Pokemon, but for the player it’s not difficult whatsoever)

My headcanon is that,in Scarlet and Violet,Sada and Turo both exist at the same time in both games,as a married couple,and thus,Arven's parents. Y'think if the AI Professor was recovered and restored,then air-gapped from the Paradise Protection Protocol,it'd be healing for Arven,or traumatic?

Paldea *used* to be a metallurgy mecca,but when the Tinkatink line developed and started being absolute menaces to society in order to get metal for their hammers,Paldeans quickly shut down their steel mills and started to downsize or even eliminate their metal stockpiles,just to minimize potential damage done by these metal-obsessed violent gremlins.

My headcannon is that every 2 protagonists from the nine generations so far have some kind of relationship to or with each other one way or the other
Gen 1(Red & Leaf): Red met Leaf while he was exploring the Team Rocket hideout in Celadon City, but Leaf had an actual goal in mind while Red simply found the secret stairs and was investigating the place blindly. After getting the Silph Scope, they escape, and Leaf sort of sticks around for the rest of Reds' journey, and they become amazing battle partners and close friends (but more close associates).
Gen 2(Ethan, Kris, & Lyra): They are all triplets, with Ethan being the oldest (thus sometimes brags by saying he's more so the "leader"), Kris is in the middle, and Lyra's the youngest (though she's sometime is a lot more mature than the other two), and they all enjoy and prefer being around each other watching a show, and playing different kinds of video, bord, and card games.
Gen 3(Brendan & May): This one is similar to the plot in the manga. When they were much younger, a Salamance was rampaging in a town they were in, and Brendan jumped in the way of a Dragon Claw that would have destroyed a nearby building instead leaving an enormous gash across the side of his forehead to the side of his head. After that, Brendan's family moved to Johto for his and all their safety, and May was left alone with only her family as well. Then, around 9 years later, Brendan's dad, Norman, got a job offer back in Hoenn as the Petalburg City gym leader. Thus, they moved back to Hoenn, but when they arrived, Brendan felt a strange connection to the land he was on and while exploring his (untold to him) old neighborhood, he ran into a now 12-year-old May. None of them recognized each other, but one thing was definitely the same between them, they both have some small anger issues.
Gen 4(Lucas & Dawn): Lucas and dawn are cousins who live with each other and their moms in Twinleaf Town. Ever since they were both miraculously born on the same day, they've been raised as if twins and share a deep and unbreakable bond and trust with each other.
Gen 5, B&W(Hilbert & Hilda): Ever since the second grade, Hibert and Hilda have been close friends with feelings for each other that have been shared since a long time ago. Even before the events of Black and White, they declared themselves, with real passion, boyfriend and girlfriend, and they've been that way ever since. Even after B&W, they're even went as far as to sleep in the same bed and have, awkwardly, made out.
Gen 5, B&W 2(Nate & Rosa): They are brother and sister, where Rosa came only 11 months after Nate was born. Nate has always been sort of an extra parent to Rosa, as she's always off on an adventure getting herself into all kinds trouble, and Nate is always there to help no matter what, and also acts as a mentor to Rosa
Gen 6(Calem & Serena): Here, just imagine the entire xy anime and just replace Ash with Calem, and thats how lazy I am.
Gen 7(Elio & Selene): Both of them moved from Kanto to Alola with there familys and met each other on a walk around the Hau'oli outskirts where they quickly became friends, and so did their familys.
Notable things, 1: Each household has a Meowth as a pet, but Elio's is Kantonian and Selene's is Alolan, yet they actually don't even hate each other, and are actually like Broggy and Dory from One Piece.
2: Elio is a fan of lots of different media and always try bond with Selene over it, but she's always been a more outdoorsy person.
3: Selene also has a twin sister who is black, which makes people not immediately realize their related, which sometimes leads to some awkward situations.
4, biggest of all: Elio and Selene both share a secret that no one else knows that is, to put it shortly, one day, they were at the beach, in their SWIMSUITS, splashing at each other, swimming in the WAVES, they got knocked back to the shore and, well, they learned alot that day.
Gen 8(Victor & Gloria): Victor, Gloria, and Hop have all lived in Postwick their whole lives, and have known each other since they were born. Gloria however, spends most of her time with Victor, as she kind of lives with him. Basically, her mum (DON'T JUDGE ME, I'M SPELLING IT THAT WAY FOR EFFECT) works a job in Motostoke, sometimes all the way to Turfield, so to not have Gloria alone all the time, she asked her neighbors and good friends to babysit her over a certain amount of time during the week and then she's off the other amount of time to be with her daughter, and said neighbors is Victors family, and Gloria was already good friends with him, so it was a win-win for everyone.
Gen 9(Florian & Juliana): They were born in th Galar region as twins, so when they speak English they have an accent, but their blood and family originates from Paldea, so their mom, whom their Paldea heritage comes from, taught them Spanish from birth, so Florian & Juliana are bilingual. After the events of The Second Darkest Day, they moved to Paldea for their safety and their education (I still haven't found a way to put Naranja and Uva Academy in the same universe so that's all for now)

The way Volo even managed to get a Spirtitomb on his team in the first place was because one of his pokemon (most likely the Togepi after it evolved into a Togetic sense its a freindship evolution) just kinda found its egg and decided to bring it to him for some reason and it just eventually hached I imagine the interaction where the egg was brought to him went something like this

Headcanon: Link's (Every version) favorite Pokémon is Calyrex. If you look closely at the green thing on its neck, there's a Tri-force symbol. I have a personal headcanon that there's power overlap that prevents multiple gimmicks from being used at the same time in different regions, mega and z moves for example not being stackable. It was more of a theory than a headcanon, but i think this is why "dynamax + mega" or "tera + mega" can't happen.

My headcanon is there are 2 types of dragonite,
One who helps and protects people as they are gentle in nature as they were raised with kind sailors across the seas from stories or experience

idk if this has been done or not but i have a head cannon that Kieran has a little journal he's used threw out the dlc. Starting off as a little place to theorize about orgepon, write down things he's learned about the pokemon, folklore etc. Then after the player took orgepon away from him he kept that same journal and used it to jot down notes to defeat the player and get stronger. Even tho he wasn't in a good place in the latter half of the journals use, once he becomes friends again with the Player he becomes fond of that journal, showing it off to who ever he can.
Is his journal, it would have cute little stickers on the cover that he put on threw its use, and he would make doodles to represent some of his ideas better (even tho he ain't the best artist TuT)
