Rice paper or cig. paper with a thinned white glue to secure to the lens of the lights will shift the light into a more white tone; also add signs of birds nest above the light box. Birds of all kinds will often perch on building lights. You might be able to use clear plastic with transp. white as cover on the lights if the paper is to touchy. Great video by the way..
Fn: As your building gets older be sure to leave some oil stains an darker marks where the fork lifts move about or park. Often after just a few days of rain you can find a rust stain on the ground from the blades touching the ground. Pallets or small broken shards of wood from damage pallets will end up out side bay doors as well.

I realize comparing n scale to HO isn’t the scope of this video but you certainly give me the idea that HO level of realism is achievable in the smaller scale. Well done

Hi just found your channel. Really nice job on the building it turned out looking very good. The weathering adds a nice amount of realisim to the building. Subscribed and look forward to more.- Nicholas.

Try putting some Tamiya transparent orange paint on the cool white LED's to warm up the color. What brand of chain link fencing did you use for this. Whole thing looks extremely realistic, Well done!

Thanks! The chain link fence is from a polish company called model scene. They have two types of chain link fence in n scale. The one with barbed wire I used here and another one without the barbed wire.

The fence is made by a czech company called model scene. They have their own shop, but the items can also be ordered through other webshops.

A good tip for masking with tape is to paint the base colour again after applying the tape, this will seal the line with paint and any bleed should just be the colour the tape is covering.
