*★ Updated solo Necromancer Guide for Definitive Edition: **ruclips.net/video/GqJ-YjGat_4/видео.html*
Hi, is this build still viable in Definitive Edition?
I don't get it, I went through the academy, killed everyone in the arena and haven't come across any lessons. I got into a vault and read everything I saw. I did find a bird guy who was already dead though and a butler was tampered with.
There are ghosts sitting at the big table. Each gives you one lesson.
Damn the sheer amount of work, edits and preparation and Setup. This video is absolutely insane, such a helpful build video. I appreciate all your work immensely. It's not everyday we get lvl by lvl builds like this,
Thanks from Australia 😀👍
I have been following your builds for some time now and i must say its impressive how detailed and in depth they are, you are really passionate about the game
great work as always sin! This one really is the most op bd in all of your solo char so far. It AOE nukes everything in this game with easy clicks, can't see enemy got any chances.

do u need a money boost?^^
thievery is starting for a reason.
I do, please
i clearly had no idea what i was doing with this game lol
i still have no idea :p
@@EvilNecroid i dont have the game, and i have no idea too XD.
i saw a diffrent necro build, which was VERY DIFFRENT, also didnt necro used stuff and shield? this dude looks like a warrior, and he chose a fighter at the start..im confused
awesome job! Also can't wait for your Battlemage build
I made a dnd character whos souls journey was to become a God of blood even after death. I am playing as him in divinity and he has been half rogue half caster and I have done most of the big damage from being at 1 hp with living on the edge and death with into 2 ap ability, its awkward but I've found it so fun. Comeback kid is an amazing concept. I want him to just get up basically when he dies casually and that simulates that. Maybe he simply absorbs the life the whats he's just spilled. He's been very tanky. I have hydro too which is why I say half caster and hydro compliments necro very well. I just need so much memory and I think thats making me weaker idk
still great game and amazing videos dude. Wish I saw this before I started my run but I like what I'm doing atm, warfare us amazing summoning is probably brilliant for aggro and tanking and the damage the summons can do
i saw a diffrent necro build, which was VERY DIFFRENT, also didnt necro used stuff and shield? this dude looks like a warrior, and he chose a fighter at the start..im confused.... arent necromacers need to be magic focused and int and like wizard thingys?
finally its here! thanks man!
I Dont have yet the game and I've watched all your vids mate! I love when someone do min/max in a such perfect way!
I have a very difficult question:
I'm waiting for the definitive version (cause i'm a console player) and I read Larian want to set the hardcap on lonewolf builds to 40 - 10 like normal ones. They also want to rebalance phys/magic armor and elemental resistance so that enemies have always a weakness (so more emphasis in magic damage and mixed damage party)..
I wanna listen an opinion from a veteran like you on what will probably change in min/max, builds and party compositions.
You can make a video on this!
I do plan to revisit the game once Definitive Edition is out and make new guides for that version. If it's going to be a big overhaul, then there will be more other changes as well so it's still soon to be theorizing.
And thx for sharing all with us!
nice music from castlevania..the vambir will prevail
Great vid! Cool build. Tempted to run it for my next playthrough, just finished my first (full party, classic). This time I'm going duo LW on tactician. Would it be viable to do this build without summoning from the start? Any fun build to partner it with? Thanks!
Great build... I'll give it a shot.
:) Awesome build and video as usual.
I love your choice of music every time! I imagine you're done after this though? What else do you have in mind, if anything?
I ask because you've covered what I consider to be every style of play. I doubt, HEAVILY doubt you want to do Barrelmancer playthrough LOL.
possibly Battlemage next, i will probably try to come up with something again after or take some break and wait for Pillar of Eternity: Dead Fire release.
Well, I wish you luck. I couldn't find an idea good enough to make battlemage work super effectively. Mid-game Sparking Swings is VERY strong with the right build but that was it.
Yeah same, I did a Lone Wolf Battlemage with no spells (apart from buffs of course) that relied solely on crits to do damage (put all points in 2-handed and scoundrel)(since staves have different elemental damage of course) it worked fine on tactician, but I had a much harder time than with any other build I tried before in Lone Wolf
will this build still work well in definitive edition and also will it be a good combo to maybe team up with storm chaser for more of a up front person?
AWESOME build thanks for the detailed explanation! I got one question though, why using a two-handed weapon instead of 2 wands? not to mention that the wep is strength based?
• Two-Handed: +5% crit multiplier when using 2-hand (multiplicative)
• Two-Handed unique weapons featured in video has:
1/ +warfare, +two-handed, +20% critical hit chance for Lohar's Hammer / +2 warfare, 25% critchance for Voor D'lamas
2/ +STR , means more physical armours viable for the character.
3/ Warfare for knockdowns skills: Battle Stomp, Battering Ram.
4/ 3 damaging schools to invest with multiplicative bonus: Warfare, Scoundrel and Two-Handed crit mul from carrying a two-hand.
It's because Necromancer skills deal physical damage. He uses it so he is better able to synergize off of Warfare (which increases all physical damage). Not to mention putting points into Two Handed raises the crit multiplier for even more damage off of all his skills. If he were to use wands he wouldn't get the massive crit bonus and wouldn't be able to use valuable warfare CC abilities like Battle Stomp. Plus the magic damage from wands are practically useless for this build since it's physical based.
Oh I see... I understand now! thank you @sin tee and @candroo for the explanation!
Now that abilities are capped at 10, what would you suggest as a quick fix for this build? Keep everything roughly the same and have 10 points in both summoning and warfare?
really nice build loving it sofar but i have a question.
Why go fro 20 summoning and then swtich(or not) to warfare?
What do i get from leveling summoning up to 20 besides increased summon dmg?
Wouldnt be a 10 summon/10 warfare better?
sorry im still a newb ;)
*1)* In early game, Summoning scales well, but not the player so Summoning is the first the focus. At mid game Summoning power falls off and then player power scale instead, thus the switch into Warfare, putting full focus on the player as they are fully capable to handle things on their own at that point.
*2)* Every points put into Summoning improves your summon Damage/HP/Armors. If you don't have a good investment on Summoning, then your summon has small damage output and dies quickly.
*3)* No, as explained above. Your summon will end up useless and your damage output won't reach it potential, you need to stay specialized to be effective. Stick to the guide progression.
Ahh i see thank you :)
sin tee really like your content and I know this is a old video but I wanted to get your opinion on which one is the strongest this build or your death knight build, and most important which build is the most fun to play?
i like how you show what to do early game, its my biggest gripe though that everyone feels they have to play a summoner early game to get through it since its ridiculously OP
i wish some of the other classes felt a little more powerful early game but most of the good spells aren't available.
another thing which makes the game hard without having to steal and kill everyone is money and getting spell books. It's annoying.
2 hand + necro + lonely wolf = broken divinity
do u have to be holding a 2h weapon to benefit from the 2 hand skill?
Insane power. Is this possible to reach at least half of this power at party of 4 in vanilla game?
@sin tee
Do you plan on making new builds with the definitive edition now that there are caps for abilities on lone wolf? I would love to see some that are compatible with definitive.
caps on abilities on lone wolf ?`what ????
Release date for Deadfire confirm April the 3rd
I don't have much experience on this game, do you advice play with Lone Wolf talent and try it with one more companion? If yes, what class you sugest for the second char?
•You can play with 2 Lone Wolf characters at max, any combinations would work even if they have different damage types with LW.
• If you are asking builds that work in harmony without conflicting each other for this Blood God build, you best pair with another ranged character like: an Archer or other type of ranged mages, ...etc because Necromancer has a fair share of devasting AoE damage which can friendly-fire allies in the front, pairing with another ranged character can give both more rooms to work with together.
I know this is late but how come you never put any points into constitution on your builds? Is it because the default bonus you get from gear and leveling is enough and doesn’t warrant losing overall damage?
i wonder if this can be transformed into dual wield berserker thingy and still work in solo tactician or honour.
And thanks sin tee for doing good job sharing the builds with us.
I know its an old thread but I am wondering if this build would work well with your Solo Honour Build - Wind Weaver (Enchanter) ? Thank you
Do you think it is possible to do this build with daggers? i want to go for a little roleplay like run and i think the hammer don't fit well with what i came up with
Hi, love your builds!
Can you make one for a solo summoner?
If i Just want pure caster playstyle and ditch two-handed should i go for other magic school like geomancer /hydrosophist or scoundrel for crit multiplayer?
Or even huntsman for some sweet skills and high ground adventage
For some reason I am simply unable to invest any points into summoning after I hit 10 at level 5. I have Lone Wolf activated, and I'm playing split screen with a friend, but it won't let me put 6 points in summoning to get 12. I have no bonuses from gear or anything like that. Any reason you can think of why I'd be limited to 10?
I haven't run into such problem but i have seen people reporting similar bug, you should try seeking help on the game's forum.
sin tee Yeah, I feel like I've looked everywhere. Probably just a bug that has to do with playing with controllers on split-screen with Lone Wolf on somehow. I checked the update report from last week, and they don't mention any sort of skill cap for summoning. I'll try to put a point in on my next level.
Legend Baal I'm following OPs build guide. At level 6 he recommends 12 points in summoning (with Lone Wolf on), but the game won't let me invest past 10. I'm thinking they updated the game and put a hard cap (without items) on summoning for balance issues.
*@Baal:* you should pay more attention to the build video or guide. This build has 2 stages: lvl1~13 summoner/necromancer (stage 1) and lvl13~22 full on necromancer (stage 2)
*@C4RP3 N0CT3M:* there is no such change from recent update. What are you experencing is a bug, i have heard people fixing it by respecing Lone Wolf off and on through the Mirror on Lady Vengeance.
I built Red Prince with maximum Intelligent. Air dame and poison + ground.
What bugs me is you say you will respect into full necro but the next page you respec to full Warfare and don’t touch necro
It is meant a full blown necromancer playstyle in context, what's the point of putting more points into Necromancer when the highest Necromancy skill requirement this build used only goes up to 3 Necromancer. Warfare increases all physical damage type multiplicatively, same goes for Scoundrel & Two-Handed global crit modifier, those skills are taken and focused for their bonuses, while the build is built based on the abilities usage and overall theme, it is not defined by the combat skills.
Combat skills have nothing to do with any builds, beside taking them for skill requirements, they are more or less a 2nd stats dump per levels, just like an optimized Ranger doesn't put all the points into Huntsman, an optimized Rogue don't prioritized all their points into Scoundrel and a Wizard is actually better off focus their points into Scoundrel for crit modifer on all critical spells after just enough points into their respective magic scholls.
_Were you actually don't know or just messing with me. If it's the latter, don't. It's silly to act dumb to get attention, I don't welcome trollings here._
sin tee I wasn’t trying to mess with you I only started playing about a week ago. Having played other games where the idea of a respec from one school to another I took it as to meaning respec the points to necro. So I was confused when the next set of text said to respec into Warfare.
How to deal with early game as Lone wolf? Summon an Incarnete is super weak early.
i feel like finish the after killed the doctor... Nice strat' !
im so confused... it says "if you wish to stick to summoning path just keep developing the already established roots" but i dont know what you mean by that, the other thing is im confused is you say u respec to necromancer but in the video you have warfare fully maxed.
1. The Summoning direction are taken to aid the run in early games where Necromancer abilities are limited, so the summons will keep you doing well in early game.
2. I respec to necromancer and note that to whoever liking the summoning direction still keep doing so by keep improving the foundation i've already made.
3. Originally to this build, i respec to a full-on necromancer after mid game because at that point, Summoning starts to fall off, while there is enough necromancy based-skills for the player to handle themself.
4. You only need just enough Necromancy to use their related spells, there is no reason putting more points in it. 3 Necromancer is enough to use every Necromancy powers in game.
5. Warfare passive increases +5% physical damage per rank multiplicatively. This is a physical damage class.
How was your incarnate so big if you had 0 summon?
Do u have a link to the Wallpaper for the part of the lvling stuff cause if its in your description some of the links arent workin
the one you are looking for is by RD Lys, and it link is working, try scrolling down: www.artstation.com/artwork/oYa2W
dope thx :D the second link 404s :D
What does stage 2 have to do with the Necromancer build? I’m just seeing necromancer 2 early on then Stage 2 adds two handed and warfare?
• Warfare: physical attacks deal +5% more damage per point (multiplicative)
Player only need 2 Necromancer to use early-mid game skills and 3 Necromancer to use all late game skills. Putting more points into it do you no good as it passive only increases lifesteal.
Ye s new build!
Where to get all the Gear? Can’t find the uniques and legendarys. Hope to get a quick answer. Thanks
Uniques like talisman in Arks after beating kraken, boots from elf female trader also in Arks she is situated somewhere about cathedral, all other divine items appear randomly
Great video but since this is on pc your using mods . And I’m guessing this build can’t work on console. We can’t use mods . Cause it says at level 2 18 int and 12 memory . I never had this many points to invest and there’s a level 10 cap on your skills now. Anyway great video and taking time to do this.
I only used mods that increase difficulty, there is no changes to gameplay/balancing aspects. This build uses Lone Wolf which is a talent in base game shown in the character creation (0:42), you don't need any mods for it:
• Lone Wolf talent (Definitive Edition): provides +2 Max AP, +2 Recovery AP, +30% Vitality, +60% Physical Armour, +60% Magic Armour, and doubles invested points in attributes - up to a maximum of 40- and combat abilities (except Polymorph ability) - up to a maximum of 10, while you are adventuring solo or with at most one companion. This bonus is temporarily removed while there are more than two members in the current party.
divinityoriginalsin2.wiki.fextralife.com/Lone+Wolf
• Level 1 , Creation: Base 10 INT → +3 INT = 13 INT → 16 INT , doubled due to Lone Wolf.
• You get 2 attribute points per level up which spent +1 on Int and +1 on Memory at level 2:
16 INT → 18 INT and 10 Memory → 12 Memory, doubled due to Lone Wolf.
Definitive Edition introduced new cap to the game, which is 10 for combat skills and 40 for attribute points, you're watching an older Edition video which is before the change. It's recommended to watch videos/guides with Definitive Edition in it title, which this build happenend to be updated, it link is in the pinned comment of this video.
• Keep in mind these are only hard caps for points invested in, meaning they can be pushed higher still by using gear/buffs in DE version. E.g: When you already capped at 40 Int, having gear that grants +2 Intelligence will still bump it to 42 Int.
@@sintee106 thanx for responding .I see it’s the lone Wolfe talent . I’m new to this game just started playing about a week ago . And have companions .
Do you know of anyone on RUclips that’s has beginning guides for new players ? Cause the few I seen are for veterans who have played for 1000’s of hours :)
How are you going past 10 summon skill at lvl5?
you are watching an old build in an old version of the game, refer to videos with "Definitive Edition" tag in it its tittle if you are playing on DE version.
dang thats stron and if one lone wolf can decimate anything with this build then how about two lone wolfs with the same build tho the other will be weaker but i guess it wouldnt matter lol
who is watching in 2019
how do you have int gear that gives more phy than mag armour
at lvl 5 i wanted to go for the 12 summon, but i cant lvl it past 10. any idea why? base lvl is 5, and 5 from lonewolf
kartonnedoos I’m having the same problem if you find out let me know
r u playin the definitive edition? if yes they already set the new soft cap @ 10, player like Sin Tee are forcing the game developer make changes XDDD
@@l3fthand154 i havent played the definitive edition yet, at the time of my post it wasn't out yet.
@kartonnedoos Check if you have 3+ members in your party, if you have lone wolf talent, and if you actually have skill points left. Usually one of the three.
i have lonewolf and skill points left. maybe it was just a bug or something
ITS HERE BOYSSSSSSSSSSSSS
This just came out for console and I’m trying this build first thing but at level 9 I’m able to put more points into summoning but it won’t go passed 11, does anyone know why that’s happening?
Definitive Edition nerf Lone Wolf hard cap to be the same as non LW, so old LW builds need tweaks to be fit with DE changes. I plan to update some in the future but as of now they stand archived only for research purposes to DE players.
do you have any non lone wold builds?
Where can I steal the Helmet, gloves and the Chest armor? Hope someone can Help me
I kind of wanted to play as a custom character, it says any origin character, but i'd like to be "my own" sort of. Any reason why i gotta be an origin char?
custom character is also an origin _(custom origin)_ , if any of my builds mention any origins then you are free to play as anyone you like.
Oh, okay, i kinda understood it as a "no custom possible" kind of origin :) That's cool though, looking forward to try this build out :)
How do I use the vipers fang without putting into strength? I can’t seem to find armor that will give me +1 points?
• Use Bedroll or Peace of Mind to boost your strength to 11 to carry Viper Tongue. Viper Tongue has +1 STR on it own so once the buff duration run out, you will still have enough STR requirement to carry it.
• Once you beat Radeka, craft Blood Elixer (Blood Rose + Empty Potion) which grants +1 to all attributes. Meaning you will be having 12 STR total, +1 from Viper and +1 from Elixier. Then you will have enough STR to carry Fang of the Dragon at level 9, Fang of the Dragon also has +1 STR to replace Viper spot.
• Same thing with the Two-Handed weapons later on.
sin tee sweet thanks. Badass build
Are those builds still viable? lone wolf no longer lets you pass the skill/attribute cap and you can't get this high in stats.
Lone wolf were never able to pass hard cap, hard cap for non-LW is 40 for attributes and 10 for skills, for LW it's 80 and 20 just because everything is doubled, hard cap is still fixed and only able to bypass through gear/items. I've digged the lastest update, there was no changes to Lone Wolf.
I cannot reach 80 with lone wolf, it reaches 40 alone and in the description it says "15 and 15 from lone wolf" and that's the cap, no more. For me it didn't double the 40 invested to 80 it just let's me invest 15 total, and doubles it from lone wolf. Does that make sense?
there is a known bug that prevent player with LW from going further, if you already reach the Respec Mirror, remove and re-equip the talent should do the trick.
Yeah... in the meantime I already got the idea maybe it's some sort of bug so I tried it. It doesn't give me the full buff for some reason only 25 from lone wolf even after dropping all gear and re enabling
*Sigh*
Anyway, I want to really thank you for the quick reply, patience and the guides. It's not an obvious thing, much appreciated.
This build is fun as fuck :D
Though i prefer sebille since she can create a pool of blood on her feet while gaining 1 ap, that works pretty well with elemental afinity(?)
sure, Elf or Fane is ideal for most builds, but i picked different variety of races/origins throughout my build guides mainly to show that they works well with or without picking either Elf or Fane.
is staff wrong choice for necromancer?
Is this viable in a 4-team comp?
i don't get it. Why a two handed build with points in warfare if you put all of your points in int not str?
• Warfare +5% physical damage multiplicatively per rank.
4/ 3 damaging schools to invest with multiplicative bonus: Warfare, Scoundrel and Two-Handed crit mul from carrying a two-hand.
you could use staves for more INT but if i got it right, you use two handed instead because of the crit multiplier. One more thing, you invested full INT instead of STR because of other INT based skills, is that right?
Subscribed by the way, keep up the good work!
• yes. Necromancy powers are scaled with INT, and because they deal physical damage, they also scale with Warfare. Any damage type works with crit multiplier as long as they deal critical strikes.
• I used a normal two-hander instead of staves because no ingame staffs can beat the two-hander unique rolls. +10% multiplicative bonus from either Warfare or Two-Hander on both Lohar's Hammer and D'lamas. +20% critchance on Lohar's Hammer and even +25% critchance on D'lamas, and a rune slot. And because player mainly deal damage using thier necromancy spells, the weapons are mainly for special opts, in which staves are no contest against unique two-handers.
Sir, you are the best!
How do you usually handle the loremaster problem? I see you had the blood rose elixir for the majority of your run so you didn't respec. Do you just sell items and rely solely on traders for gear? I guess traders usually have better gear anyways and you can cherry pick stuff.
Most traders can identify items for you, theres a magnifying glass icon on the bottom right corner of the trader window, just click there and then on the item. Loremaster is pretty damn useless after I found that out.
500 hours and still things I don't know. Thanks. :P
@Xeredian: On a sidenote incase you didn't know, the bug where Blood Rose Elixir disappear after player use the Mirror is now fixed in the latest patch. It is only now gone when the character dies.
Sweet, thanks for the info!
i finish the game at lvl 20 and i did almost every quest i had and i had pet pal idk how you grind levels beyond 20 ?
You had to kill all things and do all things that give you an experience)
Can somebody help me, where can i find this Knight's Promise ring, cant find it anywhere in the game.
Know it’s been a while but in the tomb of Braccus Rex you get it by watering the well to the right of the room with the tombs, then offer the highest amount of gold (150)
Could this build work as an Undead?
Humm same build but lvl 3 ... only 6 summon with all skilled up .. can you help me ??
Are you sure you have Lone Wolf and followed the progression? Lone Wolf double the points spend, so putting 2 poinst into Summoning = 4 Summoning, one point at level 3 = 6 Summoning, then taking All Skilled Up give you another skill point, put it in Summon and you'll get 8 Summoning.
How are you getting your int that high
I have no idea where to find the belt. I tried to look everywhere but couldn't find anything about it
It can be obtained in Act ll which is sold or drop from Eithne the Trader
Oh ! , Thanks alot
Hello how can i get the hellsworn armor ?
Does this build still work with lone wolf nerf on DE?
it need tweaks like all of my old solo LW builds, i will try to update some of them sometimes later.
2:11 Summoning 0 ??
in arx where do u find the voor d'lamar ??
sold by a Blacksmith Dwarf in Arx Square.
damn i wanna be a blood god but im still a noob
If you use lone wolf with only 1 person, do you get more points compared to lone wolf with 1 party member?
Lone Wolf bonus remains the same on both single Lone Wolf or Dual-LW characters.
years late. do you have any build that doesnt rely on source? the only classes i managed to finish DE honour mode no source used were ranger and pyro battlemage(your sun god referenced but removing a few) tho i think any mage class can do it but not necromancer.
btw, it's also no scroll run at the same time lol
@@carlosvaldez3093 im new to the game, whats "honor" even means in this context?
Anyone fly with this on the console editions ? Does it still work ?
6 summon is all u can pull of at level 3 that's the most. Unless the 2 necro are gear dependent, but I doubt were all gonna get that lucky. Not sure if this is completely viable on the definitive edition.
How to get mystical flame amulet?
combine a mystical frame with a flame rune. Frames start appearing in game at level 13+, noteable vendor is Tarquin.
fuck. I've spoiled the end game for myself .. :(
how do you life steal so much with just 3 necro?
big damage, a 50k damage = 7500 HP / 100k damage = 15000 HP. My character only had 9000 HP, so 3 necromancer is plenty.
wow thanx!! you allways respond to my comments and i can see why 3 necro is enaugh now.
Ressurecting people is haram
Can I build this with a stave instead?
whats the point of going int at lower levels.. lol
Necromancy powers scale with INT: Corpse Explosion, Decaying Touch, Mosquito Swarm main source of damage is still from the player, not the Summon.
ah... damn.. wish there were a few more phys spells to learn early game >.
107442 dmg how da fak... i bearly hit for 2-3k max o.O with this i can imagine beat game on hardest mode xD
Anyone know the art at 1:15?
Thanks in advance
I went DIGGING but here...
www.artstation.com/artwork/oYa2W
and by digging I mean I checked the description of the video.
Is this still viable in DE?
Definitive Edition nerf Lone Wolf hard cap to be the same as non LW, so old LW builds need tweaks to work in DE. I plan to update some in the future but as of now they stand archived only for research purposes to DE players and be tweaked however you see fit.
can i play this with fane ?
yes
thx bud
when u play 100hours+ at dos2 and u watch ppl higher than tactican= u still feel like begginer shit xDDD
Are you using a mod that eliminates the need for source points?
Apotheosis (Polymorph skill) : The cost of all Source skills is reduced by -3 Source Point. It was shown both in the build video and text guide.
Just looking at these stats is absolute cheese, I'd never try Honour Mode like that - being overpowered defeats the purpose.
i dont get this
Im sorry Wtf
Билд абсолютное дерьмо. Такого количества загрузок как с этим билдом у меня ещё не было никогда. Очень слабый на старте и крайне ситуативный в поздней игре. Лучше убийцы для соло прохождения ничего нет.
This game could have been the next diablo ... unfortunate it chose a niche combat system
Catzel1 Ps4 which makes it unique
this game is a lot better than the next diablo .. and combat system is the reason ppl play this game moron
