Ji-Won Song was magnificent, as usual, and kudos to Beilin Han for a superb job on the piano.
I saw her live this monday performing Mozards' violin concerto No. 5 with a concert group.
Breathtaking violin play. She smiled. She had fun. And her play conveyed all those feelings to the audience. Best artist on the stage.
And the music piece is also a really enjoyable composition. Can't wait to see and listen to her again.

I don't feel this piece is very bubbly and cheerful, rather reflective and melancholic actually
The piano player didn't play the whole orchestral intro.
Typical in these settings to cut out prolonged piano tuttis.
小提琴及伴奏均有點 "沉"。 飄逸不起來，便沒有 Mozart 的感覺。

They cut the orchestral introduction in the third movement. After all that time waiting for it for God's sake, they edited it shorter. Cuts the "set up tension" for the 3rd movement violin in half. You wonder what makes people do things. Why make the audience sit through damn near 20 minutes of totally inferior waiting melody, then cut the main part when you get to it? Because sadly, nobody cares enough to complain. Only people who really know and love this piece will even know what I'm talking about. 16:48. And beside that, the dumb bunny played the violin over the last seven notes of the piano at the very end. This performance was a travesty. 22:25.
