Toto: 40 Tours Around the Sun
"Für mich sind Toto die besten Musiker auf dem Planeten", sagt Gitarrist Eddie Van Halen. 1978 erscheint ihr Debütalbum. 2018 feiern sie 40 Jahre mit einem Best-of-Album und einer Welttournee.
"For me, Toto are the best musicians on the planet," says guitarist Eddie Van Halen. Her debut album was released in 1978. In 2018, they celebrate 40 years with a best-of album and a world tour.
Toto's concert was on March 17th 2018 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

You can't fake the joy. Look at the crowd. This is the furthest point people can travel to escape from the inward troubles of life. They have been liberated, even for a short time, they celebrated freedom. Such a beautiful sight. Age, culture, religion, race, beliefs and differences were on pause. Loved watching this.

One of the lead dudes in TOTO hated this song and did not want to release it.He was afraid it would destroy the group because no one would listen to it.(biggest song they ever made)
I saw one video of the lead singer being way off key. Perhaps he just had not sung anything in a while. It was very strange to hear.
I truly envy those people, The opportunity to sing Africa with Toto. To sing with those who composed it one of the happiest songs mankind ever created. And we need it now more than ever.
At 75, this is the music that charges my soul. So many gone, but my music plays on.

I was 23 years old in 1982 rooting for "Toto" to win a Grammy for their "Toto IV" album and they did.

When I was in Africa and in the US Navy I got rained on from a passing storm and felt it was a privilege to be there at that time in my life. This song reminds me of those days. Toto is so great.🎶🌷

It’s not a song. It’s a hymn
As a combat veteran, I have to say that this song contains one of that greatest lyrics of all time. "I seek to cure what's deep inside, frightened of this thing that I've become." Some of the things I did, in the service of my country, haunt me to this day. Hopefully, God will forgive me. I haven't been able to forgive myself.

I care not about the dislikes this is in my Era and I freaking love this, people born from the 70's and 80's are a vary special breed. We could party together, sing together, live together and eat together. We are people or harmony, I love you and I love this music.

That is one of the best sounding drum kits I’ve ever heard, snare and China cymbals are just perfect. The sound engineer for this show should get an award. This is real music right here. Musicians playing real instruments and singing
