Thanks for the channel. I can't believe it took me all these years to find all these treasures, some of which I completely forgot about. Most are from my very young childhood that I almost forgot about and you're helping keep those memories alive. Thanks also for providing the info and footnotes to each song in the notes!
This is one of my very favorite 70s songs. It takes me back to a happier time in my life, like a lot of 70s hits do. I wasn't actually alive back then (I was born in the 90s), but I heard a lot of this music when I was little and grew to enjoy it a lot over the years.
I just wanna say you have an awesome collection. I thought I had alot with over 2000 45rpm's and now down to about half of that thanks to my hateful ass sister. But you records are awesome dude.!!! j~
I remember hearing the French dub of this song years ago, on MusicRadio 77! They played it only once, and they compared the intro from the English version to le quebecois français.
Nothing tops off early seventies hits
Great hearing the original mono single mix after a million plays of the stereo mixes on oldies radio!
My brother Ray (who passed away in '96) was a DJ; and he introduced me to this. A great song! He had the first Canadian 45 version of this song.
Classic 70's pop hit.
Still the coolest way to listen to music. They always mixed 45's hotter!

One of my favorite Summer songs.

Just found this series...you got a sub immediately!
this song I put on my playlist entitled: Expressway
I love it... a banjo!
..And I believe a tenor banjo at that!
Yeah, the banjo sounds way cool!
Bell was very willy nilly with their numbering system I think there straightened it out when they became Arista
Na nana na na
Na na na na stuck in my head and it would not leave.
This was torture to a 9 year old boy from l.a.
A cutout hole in a 45 indicates a stock overrun and returns to the distributor.....bought a lot of 45s in the 3 for a dollar(!)bin that way!!
Macaroons: Not just for Passover any more! :-)
My girlfriend is my Sweet City woman!!
I can see your face
I can hear your voice
I can almost touch you
Why am I thinking that this record was released earlier in '71 ( I thought I remember hearing it in kindergarten which for me was 1970-71.
Does anyone know whats going on with that shaky bass intro? Is that intentional or a tape defect?
