Hi guy’s in today’s video I will be showing you how to make a powerful mini AC which works with the complete principal of an actual Air Conditioner (AC). Watch the video from beginning to end to learn how to make it.
Here is the link to the video that shows how to make the air or water pump which I used in this video. How to make a powerful mini air or water pump using DC motor

Seems legit... The pump dumps high pressure into the hot side and that pressure goes through the small orifice which creates a pressure differential. the cold side is warmed up by the tiny fan and you get the cooling effect. The gas goes through the pump again, which is pressurized once more. So yeah... it works!
Exactly bro.
You've earned my respect

the problem is compressing flammable gasses and air (21% oxygen)
remove the oxygen before introducing the flammable gas and you are far less likely to make a boom

Awesome video and an excellent DIY working model of a refrigerator. Those who try this out please remember that the Butane gas used as refrigerant here is highly flammable and so please refrain from exposure to high temperature and make sure you are in apt environment to this out.
Please also ensure there is less leakage by using proper sealant as joints or filling the has before joining components.
Thank you
You cannot use a water pump to compress gases, you need a compressor in a closed system (and no leaks!)
The compressor needs to be able to compress the gas into a liquid (in vaccum) for the expansion to even work for cooling
and the system needs to be able to handle such high pressures.
The expansion "tube" is not even that thin to create a high pressure difference to reach that performance.
Refrigerants exist for exactly that purpose.
I'm no engineer but we had classes about this in highschool.
Even a DIY air pump (with a piston) and a syringe needle could've been a better way to illustrate how heat pumps work.
Edit: Funnily enough you already used a syringe needle in the video but for a completely different purpose lmao
Yah system badhiya banaya
Excellent. Congratulations. The butane gas compressed in the lighter tents to cooling down. You're a practical genius
Aqui no Brasil, na região norte, houve muitos assistentes pois utilização gás butano em refrigeradores residenciais sem as devidas cargas e muitos explodiram
really cool. the only thing i prob would change is not using superglue. would epoxy the joints or if i cant get epoxy then the superglue/baking soda combo if i remember when you mix the 2 it becomes rock hard. just to avoid the very small chance of the tubes comming undone from the pipes.
If you go the heat pump route, you just need to separate the hot side and cold side air wise, add a fan to the hot side. Butane gets pretty cold to liquify, so basically the pump acts a a condenser pump, and that narrow piece of tube is what is called a capillary tube. if you had something of a better tank piece up to an ounce size, and filled it with a few lighters worth in the same kinda way, you might get something that could handle more power, up to that of a mini fridge. Mind you, that little pump won't last forever, and it would all work better if you could make the system vaccuumed empty of air, but it is a good demo model of how all the basic parts work.
Its great for getting a+ in school projects
Is it only the narrow pipe or there is some system to it? @jasonmorello1374
If it work for 48 hour non stop i am sure the condensor start to ignite the gas on the pipe an it will burn all of componen.
Thank you for this wonderful analysis. Are you a specialist in this field?

It would be great if this actually works, unfortunately it is not possible for this to work the way it is built plus the gas used is lighter gas! Following the laws of thermodynamics, such a cooling effect is not possible in the video prototype
Lighter gas condenses at fairly high pressures that contact glue or hot silicone cannot withstand 😅
The frost on the pipe was placed and the video was reversed, In one part you can see the electric wires with frost, which is not possible because of the joule effect.
Overall, good prototype, on the internet you can find mini 12v compressors for a real system!
So when you refill a lighter it doesn't get cold?
@@stevetucker3902 Yes, it cools and frosts, this is because there is a phase change in the gas from liquid to gaseous and this process requires adding energy, This energy is obtained from the environment in the form of heat, so there is a cooling effect.
Now, I'm saying that this prototype is not possible to work precisely because a cooling cycle requires increasing the pressure of the gas (+70psi for lighter gas) and then cooling it in the condenser so that the gas becomes liquid, then it passes through the capillary tube to the evaporator where it expands and absorbs energy in the form of heat, And the cycle repeats.
Now tell me. Do you think an Rc car engine increases that pressure?
Pipes glued together with hot silicone or instant glue withstand those pressures.
I was wondering to use this in order to make my Peltier efficiency (wine cooler) better when ambient temperature raises. I'm now working on it. Great idea.
I have to ask you: When you are filling the system with gas, if you make a drainage hole for the air inside, could it be more efficient?
Yeah
I don't comment very often but am compelled to here. Great job, totally legit, have high pressure low pressure with boil off point, just never thought about using butane as a coolant. GREAT JOB!!!!!

this is amazing! For me it's a little complex looking at real air conditioners, but seeing it your way, it seems to be much simpler! Did you use the original lighter fluid? Or did you use refrigerant gas? You are a very intelligent person, thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks a lot friend,
I made use of the gas fluid
😢 you really think ,this is real.
@@ssomchit1yeah I bet this person does think it is real because it is real, this project makes use of a thermal property that is all most exactly what a real air conditioner would use. A common example of this property is how when you spray an aerosol can the high pressure in the can goes from high to low pressure through a small hole causing the can to get cold, this project in the video does the same thing. The pump produces pressure and the Small tube he used creates the high to low pressure difference causing cold temperatures to form on the larger pipe where the low pressure is at. But I'm curious why you would just assume that the video is fake and then shame someone else when you didn't even know if it was real or not??
Major commercial refrigerator companies are using a purified butane gas in their units now. The basic concept is compressing a gas then releasing it requires energy and that's what is causing the cooling. The other coil should be getting warmer as the unit runs.
Lighter fluid as refrigerant cool.when the pump moves the refrigerant it absorbs heat from surroundings.how long does the refrigerant last?
It's just demonstration of how the process works... don't expect too much! well done and demonstrated!

Although it works, it will do so for a limited amount of time (until the butane runs out).
Actual AC circuits, compress some sort of gas (like R32 or R290 or even propane) and when the gas expands, it cools down (i.e: Sucks heat from it's environment).
Still, cool demonstration!
Your the best bro
Thank you 🙏🏻
How are you removing the heat? This is not cooling your room yet.
Lol, don’t confuse the plebs with science facts. 😂😂😂
Yes, it is possible that the experiment was successful. Usually there is a refrigeration system that uses stove gas like that in refrigerators.
