Did The Reverse Rubber Band Method Cause Damage/Breakage??

  • Did this new method of retouching old braids with rubber bands cause major breakage in my daughter’s 4c natural hair? Watch and see the full video. I made this video to show everyone how her hair reacted to those “tight rubber bands that will break off her hair” I always want you guys to be informed. This video will put to rest all the negative comments about her hair falling out from to much build up. Me being an absolute bad parent who is lazy. Let me know what you think. Another question is, how long do you leave in your protective styles??? Make sure you subscribe (if you’re a bitter Betty or negative Nancy, don’t even bother) Please Share and like this video.

Just watched the previous video. The manner in which you responded tells alot about the type of person you are because I probably would have cuss them out. You were very professional and I liked that. Continue to do what you're doing because it's always the bald headed ones who are so opinionated.

We as black people are so expressive lol. Lil mama was trying hard not to be outwardly disrespectful with her facial expressions but was evidently feeling like "uh uh this feels weird mama" 😆. She'll thank you later, she already has a beautifully thick and healthy head of hair. Great video!

Your beautiful daughter has beautiful hair! I use rubber bands and also do braids on my 2 yr old daughter's hair. Her hair is very long and thick also. Her braids never last over 2wks. Because her hair gets frizzy quickly. No matter how I tie it up at night. But I have never seen hair loss. It seems to be growing even longer! So yes I agree with you 100 percent! Love your videos! May God continue to bless you!

Nice. You can tell that you do take your time and patience with her hair. I agree you cant just let 4c tightly coiled hair do its own thing or it will become matted and start to loc nor can u just go in with a comb first or it will cause breakage!!

    • @SupaNatural

Mel W Yes, it’s takes time and patience to care for. You can’t just simply wash it and put ponytails in. That’s a big no no in my book. Thanks so much for understanding! ❤️❤️

How you going to still can't call her lazy?! People be busy and as long as her hair is done it's done! She is not your child so you need not worried about her. That baby has some thick and long hair. And if her mother wants her hair to grow, then let her make that happen! How you going to say that she don't need any more hair? Extensions added to the Head is a protective style if done right, and Mama done it right. It's what works for her and her child so it's what she should continue to do if she do so choose.
