Bryan harvey will still be remembered for his smooth beautiful voice, he made a massive impact in the 90s, there are never happy stories for pop legends, at least B.H is alive and well and got out of the industry when he did😊
Music takes us right back to those days when things seemed so much better and less stressful I miss the 90s so much ,but you tube brings them right back when ever we feel like revisiting ❤😊😊
It's 2023 and I'm still here. In love with music where the message is loud and clear and direct. Not music with hidden messages, coded messages and explicit videos. God take me back to these times.
He wasn't that bad, he only made the mistake of saying drugs are not that bad at the wrong time and he got stitched up before a time where there was social media and people bought everything they were told. The press then and now had amazing power over the masses, because most people are stupid gullible mugs who believe everything they are told by what they regard as authority.
It seemed the 90s was an era where the signers / band style of music they play, determines whether your allowed to take drugs and then say you enjoy it too, publicly. Funny thing is, as outraged as the press were over Harvey's endorsing the use of E's, has it been Liam Gallagher who said it, press would have said "That's just Liam being Liam..." because he was in a rock, not a pop, band. I remember in 1998/99 Liam actually said he felt sorry for Brian after the press went after him like that saying "The man is allowed a fachking opinion like, arr-ite knob-ed?" Ok I made that last bit up but, yeah... Admit you took a few E's in a pop band? 90s responded by having "The comments of one Brian Harvey are wholly wrong and irresponsible" said John Major in PMs question time. 🫣🙄

Ironically this is the type of music they wanted to make and they said this in many interviews especially Brian but management kept pushing them 2 do pop and compete with Take That. I always thought this style suited them but in the early days it was the cheesy stuff that was moving units
great underrated love song, from the magic 90's. a real hidden gem track, that does not get talked about enough, one everyone should hear so beautiful, and just works so well with east 17 and gabrielle, here is one song i would love to do a duet with a lady singer.
i feel so lucky to have grown up in the 90s, duno if its just me getting older or what but the kids 2day will never experience music like we had in the 90s, shame..
Ahh the beauty of youth, teenage years in the early 90s, full of energy and brimming with potential. What a classic love bollard, reminds me of an end of year middle school disco just before Christmas, where the girl I had a crush on danced with another boy, so I sulked, slumped on bean bags, away from the crowd on my lonesome in an empty classroom lol hearing in the background " And if you ever, fall in love soo true, just be sure that she's a frieend tooo"❤😂
Omg scrolled across this on TikTok and was transported on a major nostalgic journey back to late 90s I was just a kid but this was all over the radio and I loved it, just makes me feel young again. Beautiful song had to watch the music video here 😍
And if you ever fall in love again, must make sure the lady/ or guy is a friend. I absolutely 💯 per cent adore this East 17 song because it speaks the truth about relationships, full stop..I feel that if we all took the time to get to know someone really well,to the point of friendship before rushing into love, there would be less drama ♥ and less heartbreak. And better more joyous songs to sing about!..But that's just my take on love. I go for the friendship first, as when and if it ends, friendship still lasts!
Brian if ya ever watching in on this brother this is why you get my respects out of all the tracks youve ever been involved in..ill admit i did always like this dude for sure..and Gabrielle is just amazing with out a doubt ya both pure quality on this 👏
Probably why East 17 approached her to sing with them. They were just starting to wane a little, but in doing a duet, a band can reach out and appeal to another demographic of fans.
First time I heard this - travelling in a combi taxi in Cape Town (they play the music full-blast); couldn't stop tapping my feet and mouth the words. Other passengers gave me some strange looks. Loved this and Gabrielle ever since. I'm 67 now . . .
Ahhhh remember when taxes were low, social media didnt exist and THIS absolutel banger was playing on the radio!? Good times
I miss the 90s so goddamn much it isn't even funny.

Such a nostalgic track. For all his demons, Brian Harvey was an incredible talent 👌👌👌
I agree with that Brian Harvey the finest vocal talent of the 1990s 😀
It seemed the 90s was an era where the signers / band style of music they play, determines whether your allowed to take drugs and then say you enjoy it too, publicly.

spoken true words
I had a lot of cares and worries in the 90´s, but this song among many others gave me many a break in between the worries.
When you wrote that comment you weren’t as far from the Uk we knew and loved as now- good bye London and England ❤
Brian and Gabrille combine so well in this duet, brilliant. 2 great voices.
Unbelievable ❤
Best song east 17 ever did in my opinion.
Ironically this is the type of music they wanted to make and they said this in many interviews especially Brian but management kept pushing them 2 do pop and compete with Take That. I always thought this style suited them but in the early days it was the cheesy stuff that was moving units
@@x-g1 i think Brian only wanted to do this kind of RnB music, Tony, the main songwriter and composer wasnt a fan of rnb.
With Gabriella yes lol 👍
You heard the song each time by east 17 that's another good song.
2024 here...❤
Gabrielle and Bryan smashed this out of the park!
A random conversation in the pub with a friend I grew up with brought me here lol.
Remember what the conversation in the pub was about? Lol
When i hear this song i start to cry ... take me too back for happy days.😭
Still sounds as good now as it did 23 years ago, what I'd give to go back to these times

It was a cover version of a big American hit that flopped in the UK. They made it their own!
actually, the original was a top 40 hit in the uk. as per usual, though, the unoriginal brits came along to mimic american culture yet again.
Bryan Harvey was great legend, he could have gone so far❤
This was one of my favourite songs back in the days. Sweet and Beautiful Song 🎵
Brian had such a beautiful voice.
God bless brian

It was wonderful to see these two groups featured together around 1996.❤
This was Gabrielle and Brian Harvey. Not East 17. Tony cant claim this one. Hope Brian gets all the royalties off this
Absolutely beautiful voices. I would love to hear a reunion of this song. Thank you Gabrielle and E17 .
