great underrated love song, from the magic 90's. a real hidden gem track, that does not get talked about enough, one everyone should hear so beautiful, and just works so well with east 17 and gabrielle, here is one song i would love to do a duet with a lady singer.
Ironically this is the type of music they wanted to make and they said this in many interviews especially Brian but management kept pushing them 2 do pop and compete with Take That. I always thought this style suited them but in the early days it was the cheesy stuff that was moving units
And if you ever fall in love again, must make sure the lady/ or guy is a friend. I absolutely 💯 per cent adore this East 17 song because it speaks the truth about relationships, full stop..I feel that if we all took the time to get to know someone really well,to the point of friendship before rushing into love, there would be less drama ♥ and less heartbreak. In all the boy/girl bands of the 90s there was usually at least one person per group whose talent was well above the chart fodder such bands were sort of designed for during that period. Brian Harvey was legitimately WELL above the talent of his peers. I think if there hadn't been the scandal where he talked about doing E he'd have gone the way of Ronan Keating and had a commendable solo career. Guy's voice is incredible.
