She died in 2018 saving a little girl from a burning hut. This was one of the many songs she had on repeat on her playlist whenever we got the chance to relax and listen to music. I remember when he got too big for me to pick him up and dance like we did. He reached and i said let's dance standing up. It worked slightly for a bit. My father got me into this in the early 90's. He was a real romantic. He passed a few years ago in what to me were very traumatic circumstances, and now i listen to this song and sing it as if I am not singing to a physical love, but to God. Since my father passed I can't find a way to make it through my day without God, and prayer. I don't go to church, I hate all dogma, but somehow I get from this song something other than what I feel the original idea was. I hope john is satisfied with knowing that his music not only helps lovers find strength in each other, but it has also helped me in an entirely different way. It has helped me come to terms with my fathers passing and it has strengthened my faith. So I say Thank you John.

But like all fun, it has to come to an end. We all have to grow up and carry the responsibilities of adulthood...hahahahah.... while the 90s were difficult times for me too... the clubs eventually close or just stop operating, the music, the songs the beats still remain as an awesome memory in my life... This song has so many messages and means a lot to different people. My mom Judith passed away in 2022 unexpectedly during surgery. My dad had previously had a stroke two years prior. What a team they were together. Definitely ying & yang, they were together a total 60 years. Many moments, memories made. It was all about family, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. The minute dad found out that mom passed. It has been a struggle for him, he misses her so much he can’t even breathe, please make sure you hug your loved ones and tell them you love them. My dad is now on hospice and he’s looking forward to going home, to mom.

Her name was Alba. She was Israeli, I'm American. We met in Thailand, ended up working together for a number of years. She practically defined that entire period of my life... She died in 2018 saving a little girl from a burning hut. This was one of the many songs she had on repeat on her playlist whenever we got the chance to relax and listen to music. I saved every one of those songs when I got her personal effects... She was enamored with America, and we had dreams of getting married and her becoming a US citizen and growing old together.

I remember when he got too big for me to pick him up and dance like we did. He reached and i said let's dance standing up. It worked slightly for a bit. My father got me into this in the early 90's. He was a real romantic. He passed a few years ago in what to me were very traumatic circumstances, and now i listen to this song and sing it as if I am not singing to a physical love, but to God. Since my father passed I can't find a way to make it through my day without God, and prayer. I don't go to church, I hate all dogma, but somehow I get from this song something other than what I feel the original idea was. I hope john is satisfied with knowing that his music not only helps lovers find strength in each other, but it has also helped me in an entirely different way. It has helped me come to terms with my fathers passing and it has strengthened my faith. So I say Thank you John.

At the time, I was into Latin music and heard this song (and the Spanish version Otro dia más sin verte) for the 1st time on Radio Latina. I used to listen to it in loops. It was my favourite song as a teenager (along some Guns n’ Roses songs). I had forgotten about this song until tonight when I heard it on Instagram. 30 years later this song makes my heart race the same way. Such a beautiful and underrated song. But like all fun, it has to come to an end. We all have to grow up and carry the responsibilities of adulthood...hahahahah.... while the 90s were difficult times for me too... the clubs eventually close or just stop operating, the music, the songs the beats still remain as an awesome memory in my life... That was 30 ++ years ago...
This song is a world love song classic. It has stood the test of time too. The first time I properly listened to and felt moved by it was on a BA flight from London to Johannesburg in 1993, missing my wife and our baby son for a month or so, it hit a cord and I have felt it's power ever since.Jon,sir, you are a true artist.

This song has so many messages and means a lot to different people. My mom Judith passed away in 2022 unexpectedly during surgery. My dad had previously had a stroke two years prior. What a team they were together. Definitely ying & yang, they were together a total 60 years. Many moments, memories made. It was all about family, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. The minute dad found out that mom passed. It has been a struggle for him, he misses her so much he can’t even breathe, please make sure you hug your loved ones and tell them you love them. My dad is now on hospice and he’s looking forward to going home, to mom.
