I am not even Catholic, but I can feel how the Eucharist is CHANGING me - I have started going to adoration every day, as soon as I found out what it really was. The first time I went, I cried. I was scared of RCIA before, but not any more - not after spending all these hours with Him. It feels too right.
I love you, but God will always love you more. Don't be afraid to confess your worries to him, because he is there to listen to your heart, no matter its condition. Because he will always love us unconditionally, and THAT is true love! How blessed are you to witness God's calling for you?
Amen. Jesus in the Eucharist has saved me many times. During adoration and when I receive him. He is where I run when life get hard and when things are good. God bless you.
PRAISE JESUS! The Lord is calling you! You are so adored by God! He wants you, and desires a relationship with you! For you are His child, He loves you endlessly ❤
I keep hearing that from so many people. That they cried before the Blessed Sacrament. It is incredible because I have been a Catholic all , most, my life , but not until I went as an adult to the Blessed Sacrament for the first time that I could remember, did I cry. It was as joyous as it was like being with someone i love whom I missed thir absence for so long. It's hard to explain. 😢
Fr. Mike your video “The Hour That Will Change Your Life” is the reason I became fascinated with the Eucharist as a spiritually numb Protestant Christian. I am happy to say that I have come into the Church this past July 10th and I am ecstatic that I can literally have Christ within me sacramentally every single day. I’ve never felt closer to Christ in my entire life and I love being in full communion with the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic, Church. God bless you 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Welcome home! I’d like to invite you to pray the Rosary daily with Keith Nester on You Tube @ 5PM CST. He is a former Protestant Pastor who became Catholic 5 Yrs ago. He gives a reflection on each Mystery & there is a live chat to list your intentions. 🙏📿
So you were a Christian and now your a Christian? No my friend to be a Christian you MUST belong to the ONLY CHURCH THERE IS the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by God two thousand year’s ago! Protestant’s are NOT Christian even his holiness Pope St Pius IX said protestant’s are NOT Christian. Please watch Don’t call protestant’s Christian. Protestant’s belong to 40,000+ man made cults which I know isn’t nice to read or know. Protestant so called churches DON’T EXIST. Only Jesus Christ can found a Church NOT sinful men! I’ve recently rejected my so called baptism because it was done in the Cult of England many year’s ago when I mistakenly called it the Church of England,I now accept baptism by DESIRE. Please watch the warning or illumination of conscience by Christine Watkins. Then The Papacy can NOT be destroyed. Then Following Padre Pio! Also watch some excellent priest’s Fr’s Ripperger,Mark Goring,(especially today 29th July and 28th,on a Eucharist miracle),Bill Casey, and Chris Alar. God bless. Praise Jesus and Mary always!!! Ps please buy True Devotion to Mary by St. Louis de Montfort. I ask my guardian angel to help you and your family.
My husband and I had part of John 6 read at our wedding Mass for the Gospel. Some people thought that was weird, but it is the core of our faith and His greatest gift to us. Just as I was joined as one with my husband in the sacrament of marriage, Jesus is one with us when we receive the Eucharist.
Amen, Amen, Amen ... am very happy for you and your husband. My wife converted to Catholicism shortly after we were married, Sacramentally married, and she is so happy that now she can receive Jesus in the Eucharitst. Thank you for sharing your story.
John 6:35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.--unquote Obviously you have NO understanding of that verse!!!! READ IT AGAIN!!! "he who comes to Me will not hunger"- his body "he who believes in Me will never thirst.-"--His blood!!! Whomever FOLLOWS Jesus will NOT hunger--due to His words!!! Whomever BELIEVES in Jesus will NOT THIRST--due to His words!!! ------ Communion How do you labor for the food that endures to eternal life? Believe in me! (John 6:27, 29) “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me [in faith] shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35) “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” (John 6:40) “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.” (John 6:47) -------------------------------- When the crowd took offense at his gruesome talk, Jesus exposed their unbelief: “The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. But there are some of you who do not believe” (John 6:63-64).
WOW WOW WOW!!! 🤯 I am a Protestant but have been on my journey to Catholicism for a few months now doing tons of research and praying. And this video just broke down the last major wall keeping me from the church. I already planned on at least going through the classes, I think called RCIA, but had many reservations about the Eucharist, I just couldn’t wrap my mind around it and feared that would keep me from ever being able to become Catholic. Father Mike, when you brought up the incarnation, my soul cried out in relief, joy and amazement. I am so in love with my Lord and Savior and just overwhelmed with pure joy! It is so ironic that Catholics are so much more knowledgeable and in depth with the Bible, when growing up Protestant in a “Sola Scriptura” environment, learning half truths and complete misconceptions. Protestant beliefs left me feeling lost, confused and with little to no faith. Learning from the Catholic Church has not only brought me back to Jesus, but has allowed me to truly have faith deeply as well as intellectually. The beauty of how everything in the Bible ties together is so miraculous that it can only be God’s word, and now I FINALLY understand the Eucharist and believe in it! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FATHER MIKE! Thank the Lord I found Catholicism and thank the Lord we have men like you to teach us!!! ❤❤❤ I cannot wait until I have my first communion!
God has been affirming His real presence by providing Eucharistic miracles practically every generation. The latest ones below. Legnica, Poland, 2013 Sokolka, Poland, 2008 Tixtla, Mexico, 2006
DON'T DO IT.... RESEARCH THE WICKED HISTORY OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND HOW THEY USED TO KILL CHRISTIANS! They worship Mary so they not? Why do they baptize infants who are without sin? And do they not believe that a priest can forgive sins which is obviously false?
Transubstantiation is garbage.1John 4:2 Tells us that Jesus came in a real body. Came means in the past. And in a real body means that Jesus was a real physical human being just like us. John is telling us that Jesus was visible to our senses. John also tells us to not deviate from this teaching. John wrote this in90 a.d many years after Jesus died. John did not tell anyone that Jesus was in the local catholic church every sunday in bread and wine. Catholics have changed the word of God and added something to the bible. If Jesus were the bread and wine then John is a liar because John makes it clear that Jesus was in a physical body not bread and wine. And if John is a liar then why do catholics have a bible? Why follow the bible if the bible lies. Because John is not a liar, that means catholics are liars. 1John3:6 tells us that sinners dont know God or understand Him. So catholics cant even teach anyone about God because they don't know God.
@TheTruthsOfOurFaith Are yoy truly Christian? If you are, then try to show some gratitude. Take your comments and youtube channel down. You insulting The Holy Martyrs and The Body of Christ. True Christians should live each body of Christ. Do you even consider yourself part of this Body?
The Eucharist- receiving Jesus - transubstantiation - can’t be fully grasp by our limited human understanding. It is a mystery- that is faith. Trust and believe , because if God wants you to understand the details He will reveal them. Some things are a mystery- believing and trusting is faith. Why do we think that all the research we do could ever have us understand the triune God , who is omnipotent, omnipresent, Love infinite …. If you are trying to understand God , then you are reducing Him to your limited knowledge. How can anyone fathom the depth of His infinite Love - the greatest attribute He has shown/given from the beginning, and continues even beyond the centuries to come?
I'm going to share this with my dear friend who's not a practising Catholic anymore. Just a couple of days ago she insisted that Holy Communion was just a symbol, not the real Body & Blood of Our Lord. I reminded her of Jesus's words at the last supper but to no avail. I was desperate to convince her. Now I can show her this, as your explanation is so clear. Thank you Fr Mike. It's amazing how I was led to see this. Just what I needed. Praise be to God. 🙏🙏🙏
Explain also that part of being in God's grace is not only believing in Him but also having faith in Him, which is to trust Him with all of your mind body and soul. God the Son says that when you adore Him through the Eucharist you are eating His flesh and drinking His blood, trust in Him and have faith that such is the case
I suffered from reactive attachment disorder for 40 years, from infancy, until the breaking of the bread at my first Catholic mass. The Eucharist is exactly what the Catholic Church claims it to be. I would gladly die on this hill.

I know you have discussed this topic a few times before, but it definitely deserves to be repeated. This is my favorite topic you discuss in your videos. Well said.
A simple question: Animals want to live their lives just like u do. U thank God for giving life to u & also for giving life to animals for u to take their lives & eat them. Don't u see how they've tricked you to believe in an imaginary God by fooling u to arrogantly ignoring your hypocrisy & narcissism?
God bless you Debbie 🙏 there was a time in my life when I wanted to leave the Catholic faith, that I was born into. It's the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist that has made me want to continue being a Catholic 🙏🙏🙏 love you Jesus forever ❤️
Your podcasts was what got me back to my religion. I started praying and saying the rosary for my 12 year old nephew who was not liking the public school he was in trying to get into a charter school AMSA ( Advanced Math Science Academy ) He was 4th on the list for entry at the 7th grade level. Every day I prayed for him, and last Saturday went to mass in person and offered it up to him and his mother. I got word he was accepted for this September. PRAYERS DO WORK!. Thank you Fr.
Yes, many murmured about what Jesus was saying, and it also mentions that because of what Jesus said, many left and went back to their former ways of life. If Jesus had been speaking symbolically, no one would’ve walked away. It IS a hard teaching, but one which makes perfect sense once you delve deep. I am sooo grateful to be a Catholic convert! Thank you, Fr Mike!
They left because they thought HE was speaking literally. The bread represents the body/ blood symbolically. It's the WORD that We feed on. The WORD was from everlasting. The WORD became flesh.
@@fabiotuan5206 you are correct! They left because he was speaking literally. He had as many as 5-7 chances to explain what he really meant (as he had explained his parables), but instead he doubled and tripled down. He did not equivocate. Jesus Himself asked, “Does this shock you?” If he had been speaking symbolically, it would not have been a shock to His listeners.
F Tuan. Who walked away from Jesus because it is a hard saying? Obviously the 5,000 Jews, then the disciples, then Judas. Who else? Anyone who believes Jesus was speaking symbolically or metaphorically walk hand in hand with Judas including you, F Tuan, Luther, Zwingli, Calvin and protestants. God bless you.
@@sammygomes7381 The Church is the Bride of Christ. Christ's revelation is deposited and cherished in the living community of the Catholic Church, from which it is then faithfully transmitted in its fullness to the entire world. Tradition, Scripture, and Magisterium are the deposit of faith. Through apostolic succession, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Church has faithfully cherished and transmitted the deposit of faith she received from Christ, which includes both Tradition and Scripture in accordance with the Risen Lord's command: "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to the whole creation" (Mk 16:15).
@@natantateishi9112 You are correct that the church is the bride of Christ; however, that church does not have a name as it is made up of individual born-again Christians that follow the teachings of Christ, the word of God. When a church dogma overrides the teachings of Christ there is going to be a problem for someone. Remember Christ nor the apostles said mass, they didn't baptize infants and they only prayed to the Father, not Mary or saints.
So its no longer about salvation and making deciples? Its about feel emotionally good with apparently a guy in your stomach? About feeling close with God? Its not about if you say Jesus is Lord and believe and represent and obey you will be saved and get heavenly rewards? Also what part of his body we you eating? Seriously what on earth. Communion is symbolic its so we remember Jesus us Christianity berad and butter. I need to eat specific DNA to be saved today. Please tell me. I don't mean to have a mocking tone. I am just venting my thoughts and being honest about the questions I have. There is no dumb question.
I think it can be both. It would be difficult, I think, to spread the Word of Salvation and make disciples without feeling good and close with God. Ultimatelly I believe we are responsible for our own salvation, as we have free will. That being the case, anyone is free to be or not to be part of Christ's Holy Church and Worship the Lord as He told his disciples how He wanted to be worshiped and remembered. I think Jesus was very clear that He is present in the Eucharist. Anyway, as people will, they either believe in the Mistery of the Eucharist or dont, as so many protestants do and go after the church of their own choice, fitted to their own temperament and choosing the parts they feel good about. But the Bible itself told of the doubters in john 6 51-58: “This saying is hard; who can accept it?” and left him. As so many still do today. Being a Catholic was never meant to be easy, at least this is what I believe. But we can all try, after all by the Word of Christ Himself: “For human beings this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.” And this rather consoles me very much.
What about our eternal salvation through believing in Jesus? I guess I don’t fully understand this Eucharist stuff even though I’ve gone to a Catholic Church, my whole life, but once I truly understood Christianity, I Am starting to not be a part of it due to the idolatry Inside of it
@@bsan7070There is no idolatry in the Catholic Church. Protestants are idolaters by making up their own God by misinterpreting Scriptures and denying the Truth.
Yeees! I’ve discussed this with my former crowd, the Evangelicals. They bring up “the flesh is of no avail”. Right, ours isn’t. That’s kinda why we need HIS.
I believe that the body is important too. We are the temples of the Holy Spirit and people or rather saints who served as the temples of the Holy Spirit all their life living holy, the bodies of some of these saints have stayed incorrupt. Another point is that we will be resurrected with our bodies on the last day being transformed into glorified bodies. Jesus Himself incarnated in a human body. He also resurrected with His body, he didn’t leave it behind. 😇🙂
@@GratiaPrima_ HE spoke metaphorically! The bread represents the body & blood symbolically in memory. We feed on the LIVING WORD which abides and is alive in us.
Thank you Fr Mike 🌟 Once we understand the Eucharist we will never leave the Church. Not because the church won't let us but because our hearts won't let us. The greatest love story of all times is contained in a tiny host. When we look at the cross we understand how much Jesus loved us then ✝️ When we look at the Sacred Host we understand how much Jesus loves us now🌻
@5:11, this, exactly! His flesh is divine, not human flesh. THIS is why I converted from Protestantism. Everything was taken out of context and reinterpreted to support inaccurate beliefs. I came to the Catholic Church to get the truth and the true body, blood, soul, and divinity of Our Savior, Jesus Christ. There’s no going back. God bless you Father Mike Schmitz.
The Holy Eucharist and Consecrated Wine IS the BODY & BLOOD of JESUS! As a eucharistic minister, I have had many spiritual experiences about this. @@robertamansfield3375 more than a moment! He feeds us His flesh and blood, words so true that many left Him. Think of this, when we consume Jesus in the Eucharist we are being nourished, physically and spiritually. Our bodies are constantly creating new cells. How beautiful that when we receive the Eucharist our own bodily cells are being created and nourished by the author of life! I believe you meant Transubstantiation. I was meditating on the Transfiguration the other day, Jesus appearing with Moses and Elijah, and my mind went blank and I couldn’t recall the the word since they’re both so close (and two similar and exquisite mysteries!). Love what you shared! 🙏♥️
The Catholic Church teaches we eat the human body, human blood, human soul and Divinty of Jesus Christ. This is because while Jesus has one Divine Personhood he has two natures one fully Divine and one fully human. He also has two Wills, one fully Divine and one fully human. The Divine Personhood of Jesus is the second person of the Holy Trinity, The Logos.
We did not hear Jesus say: " calm down fellas, i'm not say that literally. Come here and let me explain myself better." He actually said to the disciples if they want to leave too. I always thought that this is an amazing and so simple way to understand Jesus said that literally. Sorry for my english.
I often wonder what exactly Jesus should have said, according to Protestants, if He really meant that the bread and wine were truly His body and blood? What words SHOULD He have used if that was the message He was trying to convey. What words would convince them? Can any Protestant point out to any other place in the New Testament where Jesus was misunderstood and He just let people walk away?
Thank You Father Mike. God bless you for your ENTHUSIASM when sharing this MOST important TRUTH of the Catholic Faith. If all Priests and all Catholic would have this enthusiasm we wouldn't have a problem.
Father Mike, just so you know, you make a difference in my life with every talk, I try to catch you every day! I also say prayers for you, too. Know your message is good and comes from God!
all other christian faiths that have the EUCHARIST ritual have the same reverences, I have the experience, the language has nothing to do with it, just add another and different level of mysticism.
Thank you Fr. Mike. I really enjoy seeing all your videos. I am/was like the doubting Thomas, unless He show me I will not believe. Yet, by His love and Grace, Jesus Christ has reached into my misery and showed me so much. The Eucharist is the Bread of Life…Amen.
Years ago John Michael Talbot came to our little town and performed his music in our local Catholic church. I was a young man, barely saved and in a lovely Free Methodist church. I knew nothing about anything except that Jesus is awesome, the Holy Spirit is powerful and with us, and I had very recently begun to understand Gods call to be holy. (I had heard JMT's CDs a friend had). To the point, about halfway through he sang a song about the Holy Eucharist. I'm not sure I had ever even heard that word before but I knew the Holy Spirit. Immediately the Presence of God flooded the sanctuary and I melted into tears, feeling overwhelmed by joy and gratitude. It was a Holy moment I will never forget.
Thank you for that wonderful explanation Fr. Mike! I've never heard that before, the flesh/my flesh. Blessed be Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar!
Sooo true, anyone for sure can attest that every after the Holy Communion, we experience a lighter/peaceful/calm mind, body that only God can provide our soul! So easy to be destructed by worldly noise, by evil trying to take our attention somewhere else but, let's keep clinging to our Merciful God as He died for us for our salvation! You're a blessings to all of us Fr. Mike, you're in my daily prayers!
@@sammygomes7381 Thank you for your response. I suggest listening to Catechism in a Year with Fr. Mike in 2023! Have a happy new year, and God bless you😊
it's shocking it's even in the King James bible that Jesus says this is literally his body and blood in the breaking of the bread and wine during Mass. Just also learned the Mass is the living environment of the Scriptures. Because Moses did write from God that there was Mass in the Old Testament. It has always needed to be adjusted until Jesus made it right for us.
every Eucharistic Miracle has the host turning RED ... so it's full of blood, you just can't see it. you don't need the chalice to be drinking his blood.. don't be sad
The smallest drop of blood is in the consecrated host, the smallest spec of His flesh is in the consecrated wine. You ARE receiving His blood. But I know how you feel, this pandemic changed how we receive. See if you can find a Parish that gives communion by intinction, dipping the consecrated host into the consecrated wine. I hope that helps. 🙏

The sixth chapter of John was one of the pivotal scriptures that converted me to Catholicism. I couldn't understand how or why Protestants refused the clear meaning of this passage.I absolutely love the holy Eucharist.
I think it’s because Protestants essentially stop reading John 6 after verse 35, which can sound rather symbolic. If you read all of John 6, though, you see how Jesus does NOT equivocate, and because folks knew he was speaking literally, it was such an abomination to them that many left and went back to their former lives. If Jesus had been speaking symbolically, this would not have happened.

@@jenlovesjesus Compare this with the woman at the well. Christ told her if she drank the water from the well, she would still thirst, but Christ told her He had living water in which she would not thirst. Was Christ talking about having a special water company? No, He was talking about the word of God the same thing Christ was telling the apostles as Peter figured out in verse 68 when he told Christ He had the words of eternal life. How are we saved? We are saved by the word of God. If we reject the word of God our fate is sealed. If we were actually saved by eating His flesh and drinking His blood the bible would tell us we are saved by grace by eating the wafer, not by faith.
You're amazing brother Mike. God bless you and your family always stay with us always and stay with us longer. Hope to meet you physically with the congregation of our Church and clergy.
This is so brilliantly helpful. I am friends with many Christians who do not believe in the True Presence. They also point to the 'bread' being the 'word' that feeds us. However this short talk points to everything that shows that what Jesus said 'is' exactly what He says. I have always believed that the Eucharist is Jesus but I've had difficulty discussing with my Christian friends. Thank you Fr Mike and God bless all at Ascension.
So glad I happened across this today (ah, with God there are no coincidences!) I left the Church in 2014 and joined a conservative Mennonite church. But I couldn't reconcile their views on many things, including Holy Eucharist as the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. There's more to why I left the Mennonite Church but suffice it to say your videos and succinct explanations have been instrumental in my return to the Catholic Church. Thank you, Fr. Mike.
When Jesus says: “Amen, amen......” this is a particularly important thing I am about to say. It is a Stop, Look up, Focus and Listen moment. It is a Must Believe and Do moment - you’re Life depends on this what I am about Say. So, Stop, Look Up, Focus and Listen. Your Life depends on doing and believing what He is about to say. “Amen, Amen. I say to YOU....” Thank you Lord.
Thank God for you Fr. Mike. I just experienced a Mass with a Priest who thinks it is just bread and wine. It broke my heart. I cried. Thank you so much for validating my belief.
Not just your belief but the dogmatic teaching of the Church. The priest who does believe the Catholic teaching is not a Catholic. The Orthodox also teach the same as Catholics on this issue. Best wishes.

@@ingridlinbohm7682 It IS sad that the priest celebrating mass doesn't believe God and what he is saying. Luckily, the bread and wine become the Body and Blood if the priest correctly says the words of consecration. It is the action of God and the transubstantiation does not depend on the faith or lack thereof of the priest.

She just happened to be reading John 6 and asked him what he thought. He had never heard this Gospel before. Without knowing the disciples objections beforehand he parroted virtually word for word their incredulity: “Teacher’ he said. (He always called her that). “Teacher! This is a very hard saying! How can this be True!” My wife nearly fell off her chair. It is a “hard saying” but nonetheless - True.

We go by transubstantiation as Catholics for Christ’s Real Presence in the Eucharist. And actually there are some Protestants that have a similar belief of Real Presence yet don’t have what we could consider valid holy orders to consecrate the bread and wine. Many of these types of Christians are becoming more and more fascinated with Catholicism and Orthodoxy after they read what the Church Fathers said about the Eucharist 🙌🏾
"TRANSUBSTANTIATION" is what you meant....."TRANSFIGURATION" REFERS to what the Bible teaches in Mt.17 where Jesus Christ's appearance was radiantly transformed.
Christ is not in the bread, never was and no man can put Him there. If for one moment you think Christ is in the bread where does that bread go after you eat and digest it? Christ is in us if we are saved and the bible is clear about that, actually crystal clear. 1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 1 Corinthians 6:19 What? Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own? 2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, seeing whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not know that Jesus Christ is in you?-unless indeed you are disqualified.
This is exactly what we need. We are and that’s why it’s so important to know what it is we’re doing at mass. We aren’t just remembering Jesus we are receiving him into our body where He lives within us.
Yes HE abides in us believers! That's why the bread represents the body/ blood symbolically because HE already abides in us. We feed on the WORD which is HIM
Hi Father Mike, thank you for the wonderful words Catholics need to hear everyday to nourish our heart. As I was walking home after the mass, I am thinking about Jesus, as I have just received Him. I realized that when I receive the Holy Eucharist, Jesus receives me, and in return, I receive Him in my heart, and so I also receive my brothers and sisters in Christ (the body of Christ). Thanks God for this realization.
I love the part of the mass when the priest says the Epiclesis prayer, calling the Holy Spirit to hover over the alter. It is not the priest, who is in the flesh, that change bread and wine, it is God in the Spirit. “It is the Spirit that gives life, while the flesh is of no avail.” Our ordained, wonderful priests commit their lives for that ultimate purpose, to bring us into “Communion” with the Creator of the Universe!
As a Catholic revert (missed 35 years) of now almost eight years, I can't tell you how much I love going to daily Mass and Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation. I always try to sit in the very front pew so I can be even that much closer to Jesus in that moment. I don't know that before I left the Church in my mid-20s that I truly understood what it was that was happening on the altar during Mass. During the consecration of the bread and wine when both are transformed into the body and blood of Jesus, and the priest holds them up to God, I say quietly to myself, "My Lord and my God," calling to mind the words of St. Thomas, who, when he finally saw Jesus resurrected and believed.
The smoke of satan has entered the church. Sadly many of our leaders are easily led astray. Unfortunately they closed our churches denying us the most precious nourishment of our faith for around two years. Very sad. But it somehow increased my faith and led me to meditate, pray and fast and grow closer to Jesus. God does work in mysterious ways.
Once you get past the shock of the teaching it seems so obvious that it (almost) cannot be what Jesus meant. But the beauty of it is: He did mean exactly what He said. And all we need to do is believe. So fake it if you need to at first, but then BELIEVE it . Then you will fall in Love.
I humbly beg all Catholics to get to a TLM. His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity is what separates the us from the protesters and the greyness of this world. The TLM is the Sacrifice of the Mass of our saints, the Mass that spread around the world. I implore you to experience it for yourself and just sit and absorb all of the beauty and reverence of it. I'm almost 2 years into living as close to the Traditional Catholic teachings as possible and every Mass is truly a miraculous event.
@po18guy do some research. The every single sacrament has been rewritten and lessened by V2. Exorcisms being removed is usually the biggest change....from Baptism to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass , all is weakened against evil.
are you born again?
God bless you 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Another Eucharistic miracle! 😀 💗🙏💗
This video changed my life too! ❤️

So you were a Christian and now your a Christian? Protestant’s are NOT Christian even his holiness Pope St Pius IX said protestant’s are NOT Christian. Please watch Don’t call protestant’s Christian. Protestant’s belong to 40,000+ man made cults which I know isn’t nice to read or know. Protestant so called churches DON’T EXIST. Only Jesus Christ can found a Church NOT sinful men!
God bless
Yeah and it breaks my heart that the reception afterwards was supposed to celebrate the ceremony has become for many the focal point.
Thank you!! God Bless your fam!!

You are such a blessing to me, Father Mike. My faith has grown so much because of your godly wisdom in these videos. Thank you.

Godly. GOD. God.

John 6:35
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.--unquote
Obviously you have NO understanding of that verse!!!!
READ IT AGAIN!!! "he who comes to Me will not hunger"- his body
"he who believes in Me will never thirst.-"--His blood!!!
Whomever FOLLOWS Jesus will NOT hunger--due to His words!!!
Whomever BELIEVES in Jesus will NOT THIRST--due to His words!!!

How do you labor for the food that endures to eternal life? Believe in me! (John 6:27, 29) “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me [in faith] shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35) “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” (John 6:40) “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.” (John 6:47)
--------------------------------
When the crowd took offense at his gruesome talk, Jesus exposed their unbelief: “The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

Don’t be surprised if she still doesn’t believe. She probably needs prayers more than anything!
She is smart. And, listening to this nonsense won't change her mind.
@@hkk3656 smarter than the Lord Himself? Let's pray for eachother
Explain also that part of being in God's grace is not only believing in Him but also having faith in Him, which is to trust Him with all of your mind body and soul. God the Son says that when you adore Him through the Eucharist you are eating His flesh and drinking His blood, trust in Him and have faith that such is the case

The Catholic teaching on the Eucharist is what made me convert to the Catholic faith.

Why not to orthodox that following Lord's Says allways take both the body and blood of HIM
Your podcasts was what got me back to my religion.
God shows His love for us in so many ways.
@@bethhoward1982
No, they thought HE was speaking literally but HE meant it symbolic.
HE was speaking metaphorically
F. Tuan your last comment is pure nonsense! God bless you.
It is so important for Catholics to understand the teachings of the Church. Thank you Father Mike and Ascention Presents!
More important to know the teachings of Christ, the word of God
The greatest gift that God Father could give us. Bless the Lord
The greatest gift God gave us was His Son, not to eat, but in which to have faith in.
Ameeeeeeeeeen And Ameeeeeeeeeen.
Yes we eat and drink. Center of
Catholic Eucharist.
Hello Fr Mike. I always love your lessons and Bible in a year!
Yeees! I’ve discussed this with my former crowd, the Evangelicals. They bring up “the flesh is of no avail”. Right, ours isn’t. That’s kinda why we need HIS.
Good point! Honestly that’s pretty easily refuted when you just talk about Jesus passion lol
@@joecardone4887 yes! Why go through that and offer His flesh TRULY if we only need to symbolically receive Him?
@@GratiaPrima_ Ya it doesn’t make sense. Without the sacrifice of Jesus’ BODY there’s no salvation lol

HE spoke metaphorically!
The bread represents the body & blood symbolically in memory. We feed on the LIVING WORD which abides and is alive in us.
Thank you Fr Mike 🌟
Once we understand the Eucharist we will never leave the Church. Not because the church won't let us but because our hearts won't let us.

@5:11, this, exactly! His flesh is divine, not human flesh.

The Holy Eucharist and Consecrated Wine IS the BODY & BLOOD of JESUS!
As a eucharistic minister, I have had many spiritual experiences about this.
Once (of several experiences) as a eucharistic minister: I was assisting with administering the Holy Eucharist. As I held the chalice of the Hosts; I felt strong waves of graces flowing out from the chalice and filling the church! But these graces continued out of the church and into the World!!
Not only is the Holy Eucharist and Consecrated Wine IS the BODY & BLOOD of JESUS, but God is EVERYWHERE.
This is only one of other experiences about God's ACTUAL PRESCENCE in the Holy Eucharist and Consecrated Wine.
Unfortunately, our protestant brethren DO NOT BELIEVE in God's ACTUAL PRESCENCE in the Holy Eucharist and Consecrated Wine. How sad.
It's because of God's ACTUAL PRESCENCE in the Holy Eucharist and Consecrated Wine, that I have stayed Roman Catholic. Catholics are the only ones who believe in the TRANSFIGUARTION (by GOD) of the bread and wine into the BODY & BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST.
When we receive Holy Communion, we actually have God's physical being in us for a moment. This is how Miraculous healing can occur when you take Communion. God bless you all. ♥️

We take the Bible IN context
We did not hear Jesus say: " calm down fellas, i'm not say that literally. Come here and let me explain myself better."
He actually said to the disciples if they want to leave too. I always thought that this is an amazing and so simple way to understand Jesus said that literally.
Sorry for my english.
💯
I often wonder what exactly Jesus should have said, according to Protestants, if He really meant that the bread and wine were truly His body and blood?
What words SHOULD He have used if that was the message He was trying to convey. What words would convince them?
Can any Protestant point out to any other place in the New Testament where Jesus was misunderstood and He just let people walk away?
John 6:60-63

A difficult lesson Fr. Mike, and you explained it so very well! Thank you, praying for you always!
This is why I love going to the Traditional Latin Mass --such beauty and reverence for the Holy Eucharist!!
And you don't find that with the Novo Ordo Mass? Hundreds of millions of Catholics still do.
all other christian faiths that have the EUCHARIST ritual have the same reverences, I have the experience, the language has nothing to do with it, just add another and different level of mysticism.
You can find that at Novus Ordo as well. Please don't be divisive; the world does that to us enough.

If I could give this more than one "thumbs up", I would.
Fr. Mike....great job explaining the nuances related to this belief. Thank you for your efforts. They are greatly appreciated.
Tree huggers get the same experience. Christ is not in the wafer; He is in us if we have accepted Him a s Lord and Savior.
The Eucharist is such a gift, it is silly not to accept it. God bless, Fr. Mike😊
Grace is the gift, and we receive it for faith in Christ, not a wafer.
@@sammygomes7381 Thank you for your response. I suggest listening to Catechism in a Year with Fr. Mike in 2023! Have a happy new year, and God bless you😊
Thank you for explaining "the flesh is of no avail". It makes much more sense in comparison to speaking of His own flesh.
Im so happy I go to church and receive this beautiful gift from our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Wake up people...
That is the best difference that make these statement understandable. The difference between “the flesh” and “My flesh”
We are touching Jesus Christ!!! ❤️🙏🏻
Let’s pray for the Protestants who deny Jesus’s own words here in His clear teaching in John 6
it's shocking it's even in the King James bible that Jesus says this is literally his body and blood in the breaking of the bread and wine during Mass. Just also learned the Mass is the living environment of the Scriptures. Because Moses did write from God that there was Mass in the Old Testament. It has always needed to be adjusted until Jesus made it right for us.
@@RocknRoRose One of the reasons for the Eucharist is to distinguish the True Church.
@J R repent, you don’t have much time left.
How do you know jesus said anything?
@J R sounds like a judgmental comment. I do pray for you 🙏
Thank You Lord for All Your Gifts
I love this channel so much.
The Eucharist is the divine food that will forever nourish our souls ❤️
Love you Ascension channel!!
But sadly we can’t drink his blood 💔
every Eucharistic Miracle has the host turning RED ... so it's full of blood, you just can't see it. you don't need the chalice to be drinking his blood.. don't be sad
the Eucharist, in either form, is the full Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ. rejoice that we are welcomed by Him to take and eat of it
The smallest drop of blood is in the consecrated host, the smallest spec of His flesh is in the consecrated wine.
You ARE receiving His blood.
But I know how you feel, this pandemic changed how we receive.
See if you can find a Parish that gives communion by intinction, dipping the consecrated host into the consecrated wine.
I hope that helps. 🙏
@@pattican700 thank you 😊
and where does that food go after you digest it? Christ is not in the eucharist.

We are so blessed we have Adoration in Our church St. Timothy Parish in Toronto every Tuesday to Friday after Our 9 am Mass and before 7pm Mass..Great GOD'S Blessing to All enjoy All Gods blessings to All...Mary Anne , Felix and family GREETINGS Toronto..
Why limit adoration to being in only a church? Why not have adoration in homes? This way more someone can have adoration 24/7
@@Wgaither1 It's adoration of the holy Eucharist which is not kept in our homes, only at church and some homes such as convents with a chapel that have a special dispensation to house our Lord.
PHENOMENAL TRUTH UNDENIABLE Spoken easily to understand. Shared and Pinned GRATEFUL For You Father Mike and Your GOLDEN Teachings 💜✝️💜
The sixth chapter of John was one of the pivotal scriptures that converted me to Catholicism. I couldn't understand how or why Protestants refused the clear meaning of this passage.I absolutely love the holy Eucharist.
Because the word of God is what saves us, not the eucharist. We are saved by grace through faith, not through the eucharist.
@@sammygomes7381 you still don’t understand Catholic teaching and are still refuting the words of Christ, which makes you a hypocrite.
@@sammygomes7381 Jesus said, "Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you do not have any life within you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink." John 6:53-55
Thank you, Father Mike for your explanation and your heart!!!
I am getting know Jesus better and love more through your videos, and what else matters? God bless you!
Thank you Father Mike
This is so brilliantly helpful. I am friends with many Christians who do not believe in the True Presence. They also point to the 'bread' being the 'word' that feeds us. However this short talk points to everything that shows that what Jesus said 'is' exactly what He says. I have always believed that the Eucharist is Jesus but I've had difficulty discussing with my Christian friends. Thank you Fr Mike and God bless all at Ascension.
Thank you, Fr. Mike, for explaining this.
I say to YOU....”
Thank you Lord.
@@ingridlinbohm7682 If a Catholic commits a mortal sin, does he or she cease to be Catholic? And when someone confesses their mortal sin to a priest, do they become Catholic again?
@@Wgaither1 No, the person remains Catholic throughout.
Yes, carne in Spanish is meat. Incarnation is encarnacion in Spanish. Thank you so much Father Mike and Ascension presents. God bless you.
Encarnación...ó... is the only spelling correction, (accentuation on the last vowel)..God Bless you.

For explaining so clearly and beautifully transubstantiation.
Why should this not be real when you think of everything he has made.
He has redeemed us by his blood
Jesus body is perfection, whereas we have a sin nature…
Thank you for bringing this to my attention ❤️🩹🙏🏾
Best and simplest explanation of John 6:63 I've heard. Thanks, Padre!
So glad you talked about this, Father Mike...I was astounded at the statistics about how few Catholics believe this! I mean, isn't this what sets us apart as Catholic Christians, that we actually GET that?
Thank you, Father! Such a beautiful explanation of the Eucharist!
One of the greatest things Saint Pope John Paul II did was implement the Luminous Mysteries, especially the fifth luminous mystery. He saved the BEST for last!! ❤️🙏🏼📿
Prayed the Luminous Mysteries today for the Divine Will to be done.
Thank you for the explanation about this " flesh" issue, Fr.
I miss the Eucharist so much. ☦️
Gee I think I am finally starting to understand. Thank you Father. Seems so simple now but it was so difficult.
My wife years ago had one of her adult students at college she tutored stop by the house one day.
He is a delightful young man who is a believing and practicing Muslim.
She just happened to be reading John 6 and asked him what he thought. He had never heard this Gospel before.
Without knowing the disciples objections beforehand he parroted virtually word for word their incredulity:
“Teacher’ he said. (He always called her that). “Teacher! This is a very hard saying! How can this be True!”
My wife nearly fell off her chair.
It is a “hard saying” but nonetheless - True.
True if you don't believe in the bible.
These words are Lord's words and THEY ARE in the Bible.
Spot on!!! God bless you Fr. Mike!!!!!
Glory to The Lord! He has revealed himself to us!
We feed on the WORD which is HIM
They needed a Eucharist Revival years ago. They should really talk more about the Eucharistic Miracles and how science can't explain them.
Sometimes after receiving the Eucharist myself I watch others receive Him and contemplate how we are all united, one in our Lord.
Protestants flee from the Eucharist just as the Jews fled from Jesus in John 6.
Your enthusiasm is contagious,
I love the part of the mass when the priest says the Epiclesis prayer, calling the Holy Spirit to hover over the alter.
Thank you Fr. Mike. That was really explained clear. I am learning a lot. Amen!
Amen. Amen. Amen!
We all are of fallen nature, we need Jesus to raise us up! I in him, he in me when I receive him into my soul through Holy Eucharist!
Fr. If the Eucharist is so amazing and important then why did the church take it away from us during the virus? When we needed it the most😔
The smoke of satan has entered the church. Sadly many of our leaders are easily led astray. Unfortunately they closed our churches denying us the most precious nourishment of our faith for around two years. Very sad. But it somehow increased my faith and led me to meditate, pray and fast and grow closer to Jesus. God does work in mysterious ways.
Why do lay people with unconsecrated hands hand our our Lord? Why don't we use patens?
Probably because they didn't want to be responsible for spreading a virus among their congregation.
So true and such a difficult teaching! FAITH, SURRENDER, TRUST.
Amen
I love the excitement Father Mike- thank you.
@po18guy you realize that the prayers of the Mass and ALL the sacraments were also changed? It's far more than preference
@po18guy do some research. The every single sacrament has been rewritten and lessened by V2. Exorcisms being removed is usually the biggest change....from Baptism to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass , all is weakened against evil.
Amen 🙏🏻
